The best restaurants in Dublin

07/09/2025: We tried some Italian classics: pasta all'arrabbiata, Margherita, and tiramisu. The food was very good, especially the tiramisu.

12/10/2025: Do not go to this establishment, Although I am a fan of Eddie Rockets, I have been disappointed recently so, do not order from here. Burger came out pink fries missing and coke spilled, and not a staff member able to stop to help, Will not be returning and would not recommend.

14/08/2025: I’ll start by saying, you can sit where you want and they call your name to collect your order. It’s tucked away in the corner of where woodies and maxizoo is and it’s a cute spot, they’ve too sheltered outdoor areas and multiple seating options fully outside if that suits you better. The staff are super friendly and helpful when ordering and they make sure you understand. It’s not that expensive compared to other cafes either. I find a lot of other places can be extortionate but this all priced fairly. We only had French toast so I can’t judge the whole menu but it was nice, my only issue was the amount of maple syrup was scabby, I ran out and was eating dry french toast quite quickly. The bacon was nice but could be crispier. The fruit was nice but it’s obviously prepared as it’s mushy and leaking juice. I’d prefer just fresh fruit. Other than that it’s a great place and clearly popular by the amount of people who came in during the short time we were there.

11/10/2025: I went in to dine with the family and we had a great customer service.Ramona was very friendly.The food was delicious.I will definitely go back.

05/10/2025: Got turn away at the door by someone around 17:30. Was only going as it was around the location we where at so just decided to go get food somewhere else down the road.

20/10/2025: Great food. Great portions. I usually get the spice bag from here. It's not your typical spice bag it uses some spice mix that I think is lao gan ma or something. But it's delicious & goes well with the curry sauce.

11/09/2025: We went inside at around 10 pm, ordered 2 small spice bags and Coca Cola. The bags were filled to the brim with delicious fries , veggies, and chicken. Very flavourful and well done. A little bit salty but overall very good and tasty. Will go again

15/08/2025: The name Fair Play feels rather ironic after my visit. I popped in hoping to grab a coffee to go, accompanied by my dog. Instead of a warm greeting, I was met with a raised hand from what appeared to be the owner, signalling that I should head outside. I obliged immediately, yet even then I wasn’t offered the chance to purchase a takeaway coffee. A simple, polite explanation would have been appreciated – and frankly, a takeaway option should have been the obvious next step. Sadly, the encounter felt unwelcoming and far from the hospitality you’d expect from a local café.

31/07/2025: A wonderful place, people are so friendly. Only stopped for a cuppa, but will definitely be back.

08/09/2025: The café is well-furnished, but lacks a pleasant ambiance. You're partly seated in the building's through traffic area.

07/09/2025: Shout out to Mal and Roberto! They’re such great baristas. I went in today and got a lovely coffee, completely different from the one I had on Wednesday. This time it actually tasted great, and I was pleasantly surprised. Got a caramel latte. The boys are quick, friendly, and already know my order after just one visit. The café could definitely use more staff like them!

08/07/2025: Absolutely loved Boho Café! The food and atmosphere are great, and it’s such a brilliant idea to have a café like this right in the hospital. It makes a huge difference for patients and visitors alike.

19/10/2025: Doesn't have the heart that it used to, it's pretty sparse and quite expensive. The food options are amazing, but as a market there's only a few stalls that are worth the visit, you're better off going to the charity shops nearby for a bargain & interesting items.

26/10/2025: Good food and good price, the reward point system is working well. I love the veggie spice bag especially, and pad Thai noodles. Food serves so fast and freshly made.

18/09/2025: I ordered spice bag, green curry with rice and pad thai worth €50 from deliveroo The spice bag had 2 chicken pieces for the price of €13, the green curry came without rice. As mentioned on the note to make it "extra spicy" when the food arrived was completely bland to taste. Apparently the note provided doesn't have any meaning. When contacted the restaurant. They said that deliveroo is responsible for it. Although I believe the money spent is shared among both the parties, that being the restaurant and deliveroo, the delivery partner. Shouldn't the food mishandling be managed by the restaurant? This seems to be outrages for spending €50 on this subpar food. Also when contacted there was no person in charge to log the complain with. I have also mailed about my experience and I haven't received any response yet. Subpar service, food and disappointing experience.

28/09/2025: After a very long stressful day, we had planed Dublin but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to come back to the hotel quite late so we end up booking a table here for 9:30 through their website as we were staying in the hotel once we got there we were rushed to our table and asked if we could hurry with our order as the kitchen closed at nine but that same strange to us that you could book a table until 1030 my husband ordered the gnocchi which was horrific Was not gnocchi seemed more like potato bread that had been deep fat fried not much of a butter sauce, very little sage taste and left a very strange filling in your mouth oily almost my seafood chowder was nice We ordered a pint And a glass of wine, then the main dishes came my husband's burger had no sauce it was meant to be a Sriracha burger along with pepper sauce home made fries and parmesan the fries were just frozen chips He commented that there was no flavour off of it but did eat it because we were so hungry at this point. My fish was very undercooked. The batter was still raw on the inside slimy i Was not able to eat it. Server came and asked how everything was I had to send my whole dish back Along with my side,i was offered something else but declined everything had the same taste of really dirty oil The manager did take my dish off of the bill and give us complimentary drinks and asked us if we wanted dessert but honestly by this point we didn't really want anything more to eat from there we ended up coming back to the hotel room and ordering takeout, The restaurant is beautiful and the food did look so good shame about the taste if I was staying in the hotel again, I probably would go up just for drinks i think for the price of the food its not worth it tho

23/09/2025: Terrible experience. I'd been here 3 years ago before it was renovated and its gone completely downhill. The menu has changed, and not a single thing we ate was good. We ordered the vegan pizza with cheese , received it without cheese and after mentioning, we got it back and it was properly soggy!! Fish tacos had a weird taste to it and the pico de gallo was clearly not fresh. Cocktail was okay - until I realised it had a massive long cube of ice, which means barely 100ml in a 15euro drink. The waitresses was super sweet but the manager was quite rude and dismissive. The main reason I wanted to go here was for the view but with the renovation thats done outside, there's not so much of a view now. I was very disappointed - will never ever go here again. Complete waste of my time and money.
