20/07/2025: Been here with a large group twice, was sceptical it was still Open as a restaurant but delighted they took our booking and were as good as ever. Thomas is great at including children. I even got cheesecake for my birthday cake unexpected! Would definitely recommend here and looking forward to coming back again to sit in or get a take away from here soon

16/07/2025: We hosted our engagement party on Sunday 13th July in L’Gueuleton for 40 people. We are so grateful to all of the staff who made our engagement party so memorable and special. From the organisation when I first reached out to enquire right throughout the night of the party the support from the staff was incredible and very accommodating. All of our guests commented on the venue which has lit candles decorated around, background music playing and the fantastic food. Our compliments to the kitchen, we had so many comments about how amazing the food was and how plentiful it was. The burgers, prawns and sausage rolls were the firm favourite. It was really hot day in Dublin and the team ensured that there was outside seating reserved for our party to use when needed. The bartenders always make the best aperol spritz and their rosé wine is beautiful. We love L’Gueuleton and will definitely be back soon. Thank you for making us feel so special !!

13/07/2025: Okay but not much more. The food is too fat or too sweet (French toast). Situation with the nice terrasse rises the note on the other end.

23/07/2025: The place was decent overall. The matcha was okay to drink, but the croissant was hard – felt like it wasn’t fresh. Still, a nice spot to drop by for something quick.

22/07/2025: Recent visit .Customers can clearly see bullying amongst staff taking place... "get out of my way"...eastern European girl very rude...blonde girl who served me nearly in tears... unpleasant .. great coffee 👍👍

17/07/2025: The restaurant has a professional and clean atmosphere. The staff were polite. What We Ordered: • Prawn dish • Lamb dish • Rice • A bottle of wine (€28) Total cost: €94 The food was generally good, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Some dishes leaned heavily on the spicy side, while others had a more balanced level of heat. The portion sizes were satisfying. While the food was enjoyable, the total bill felt a bit on the expensive side for what was offered. The pricing could be more aligned with the overall experience. OK dining option in Clontarf, especially if you're near Bull Island. Worth a try, but possibly better suited for a special occasion rather than a casual night out due to the pricing.

05/07/2025: Intriguing interior drew us into the depths of the cellar, or "cave", lined with wines beautifully displayed each with it's own story. Nice art and other objets d'intérêts. We ate a lovely light, tasty lunch on the street tables taking in all the passing people.

21/05/2025: This is a super place to meet people. The staff is courteous, kind and super helpful and knowledgeable. My only suggestion is to add gazpacho to the evening menu!

06/07/2025: Perfect spot to step out of the rain for beverages. Good service. Nice folks. Classic Irish pub feel with good attention to the details. Men’s bathroom (that I used) was downstairs so might be a hindrance for those who have mobility challenges.

01/08/2025: The doughnuts are top notch! We got the blueberry, the Dubai, and the chocolate praline. The doughnuts are not overly sweet and are a pillowy perfection! Definitely a must try!

22/07/2025: The shop (kiosk) on O'Connell Street only sells three types of doughnuts. They are all simple and very delicious! I especially like cinnamon sugar.

26/07/2025: One of my absolute go-to spots in Dublin when I’m craving proper tteokbokki or anything remotely comforting and Korean. Kimchi Hophouse has this low-key charm that makes it feel like a bit of a hidden gem, even though everyone who knows already adores it. Their tteokbokki? 10/10. Spicy, chewy, addictive — basically everything you want after a long day or with a cold pint. And the KIMBAP is surprisingly lovely. It’s the kind of place where I always end up ordering way too much and leaving blissfully full. Warm service, casual vibes, and food that hits every time. Can’t recommend it enough.

24/07/2025: Kimchi Haus is a real gastronomic discovery! Every dish here is a work of art. The taste is so rich and harmonious that you want to try the entire menu in a row. Kimchi is the perfect balance of spiciness and fermentation, the broths are rich, the meat melts in your mouth. It is obvious that everything is prepared with love and respect for the traditions of Korean cuisine. The service is top notch: friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and the feeling that you are a guest in a warm Korean home. I highly recommend Kimchi Haus to everyone who appreciates real quality and taste. I will definitely come back here!

18/07/2025: First time visit in company of my friends. The dish i had quality just unacceptable for the price of 23.50. I wonder how its possible to make buttered chicken so dry? Have asked about chicken level of spicy and told the sauce is already made, pre- made and not possible to adjust level of spicy. Chose another dish and total disappointment. Would never again try this place. Obviousle room for improvement.

18/07/2025: We ordered the 해물파전 seafood pancake (Crispy light batter with spring onions, squid, mussel, Clam and prawn), the 뚝배기불고기 Stone cauldron beef (Tender beef bulgogi with glass noodles, Spring onions, mushrooms and beef broth) and the 파닭 Padak (Fried chicken topped with crunchy vegetables spring onion, carrots and red peppers poured with a soy sauce and vinegar seasoning). The seafood pancake was generously stuffed with seafood however it was way too mushy and not light at all. On top of that it was way too greasy and heavy. I think it needed a bit more time on the stove to make it crunchy on the outside. The stone cauldron beef was ok, the broth was nice but it lacks depth and the portion seems very small although there was a lot of beef but lacked noodles. It came with a bowl of rice so in the end it balances out. The padak fried chicken batter was delicious and the crunchy vegetables along with the sauces were so refreshing and zingy it was nice and cut through the greasy pancake. Only negative comment is that by using chicken breast for fried chicken unless you do it right it will go dry and this one was so dry I added the broth from the beef cauldron dish.

01/07/2025: Worst customer service honestly. They delivered my food after 2h 15mins. Tried to call them and waited for around 30 mine but no one picked it up. When the delivery guy came he just drop food on floor and ran away! Domino’s is getting worst day by day, the quality and the ambience they used to have is not there any more👎

The food was amazing, and you can tell every dish was created with love and care and served by such a warm and professional team who were always on hand with more wine and drinks as we partied the night away.
