31/07/2026: Southern spices has always been our family’s go to place for Indian food. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Special mention to Sai Lakshmi for her hospitality and warm gesture.

30/07/2026: We were two couples and one 18 year old celebrating his birthday the other night Sat, 25/07. We all visit the restaurant occasionally so know to expect good quality food and service. This was no different, good food and service as always. What really stood out was the waiter upstairs (where we were seated) I really should have asked his name but never got around to it. His sense of humour and attention to us were brilliant. He made just enough fuss over the birthday boy and even brought a complimentary chocolate brownie with a candle in it over to him after the meal. We really enjoyed our evening there.

03/08/2026: Proper fish and chips with curry sauce is out of this world after a 7 hour flight! Dive bar for sure but the food, drinks and service is great.

28/07/2026: Cracking pub, loads of beer selection and great Guinness. Live music some nights and they also show the sport. You can also book sections in the bar. The staff are really nice and the food is limited but is quite good. If I’m in town I’ll also stop in for one to see what new beers are on tap.

23/07/2026: Its the best fish and chips so much so I travel from Glasnevin to get our treat. Then we head to Howth and watch people by over priced Beshoffs and Burdocks fish and chips and watch the seagulls do their impressions of Alfred Hitchcocks thriller "The Birds" while we eat ours in our car laughing at the antics of these amazing survivalists take food of the uninitiated customers as they try to escape thses well fed seagulls who are forced to come ashore as fish stocks are badly deflated.

18/07/2026: Beautiful parkland course. Greens in wonderful condition, a testament to the groundstaff. Members were friendly and welcoming. Invited to play through. Great value for such a good course.

17/11/2025: I have visit this place since 9 year ago and the food is always delicious and good quality, the restaurant reflects Italian taste. Whoever the waitress need training in greeting and locating customer at tables, we were 3 people and because the couple before is we're 2 and a table for 3 was free, they make all of us waiting instead of locate the table.

16/11/2025: It was excellent, the food was just so good. Their croissants are homemade, the hot chocolate had real chocolate inside, and so did the coffee. We had the vegetarian Irish breakfast, classic French toast, and the focaccia of the day with feta, and everything was delicious! I highly recommend it!!

Overall, we had a lovely time and will certainly be back, though we'll probably stick to just the drinks next time around. As a wine bar, their selection is excellent, and we really enjoyed the several wines and drinks we tried. On the food side, it’s definitely focused on small bites. While we understood the concept, the portion sizes were still unexpectedly small. That said, it’s a wine bar, not a full restaurant, so we didn't judge it too harshly on that. The real standout was the eggplant Parmesan—absolutely delicious and the highlight of our night! On the flip side, the tomato plate was a letdown; it felt a bit lacking in both innovation and ingredients while the tiramisu felt a bit dry. The service was good, but very hands-off. The server was friendly and straight-to-the-point whenever we interacted, but they only checked in when we specifically asked for something. 16/06/2026: Wanted to try this place for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. The food throughout was delicious and really well executed. The service was warm and efficient. The wine list is excellent and some interesting wines you don’t always see on Dublin menus. Can’t wait to go back.

18/07/2026: I just had breakfast buffet here and I don't recommend this place at all. The waitress tried to shoo us away multiple times while we had barely started eating. It was very disrespectful and we fled from there without having anything. Never ever will we recommend this place to anyone. I wish all her problems in life are solved soon and she starts smiling. Don't fall for their misleading Punjabi or Gujarati buffet, it just has one pre ordered item. They need to work really hard on their honesty and customer service.

01/06/2026: Had a great experience at the Coach House at the weekend. Terrific atmosphere on Sat for the champions league final, then had a superb meal on Sunday. My wife and Aunt had roast beef and I had the beef curry, meat was cooked to perfection. Very attentive bar and waitress staff, and cracking pint of Krombacher. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Balinteer!

29/07/2026: Really disappointed with our order. It took over an hour to arrive, and both the pizza and chicken dippers were cold. We ordered a half-and-half pizza, but the toppings were all mixed together instead of being separated. We only managed a few bites because it was that bad. Since then, both my friend and I have been vomiting and sweating all day. A terrible experience from start to finish, and we definitely won’t be ordering again.

21/07/2026: We loved everything about this restaurant! The food is amazing and vibe inside is lively. It's also really close by to a station if you don't want to struggle with parking in the area, but you can find street parking close by.

20/07/2026: I had the batata (sweet potato stuffing included beef and lamb mince) and chargrilled chicken shawarma hummus pita. The food was delicious and speedily served with no issues. The restaurant was easy to find with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating.
