The best restaurants in Dublin

27/07/2025: Nice bar, good mucus, nice food, and friendly service...but I noticed multiple people smoking/vaping in the bar (not outside or in the beer garden). Pretty disgusting. I'm unlikely to return.

03/07/2025: After a bad experience in Dunphys, The 2 Foxes was so friendly and a great pint of Guinness and lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend a visit.

17/07/2025: I had the best customer experience with Hazel on two visits. Once for my running exam which I just walked in for and she was more than accommodating. She also gave expert opinions on my feet and what size and width would be suitable for me (I have bunions). She kindly offered to order in an extra wide runner as she felt it was worth me trying them rather than a quick sale. I now have comfort that I've never had before thanks to Hazel! Great customer service and recommend everyone to go here if you want actual service with a smile. More of this!

05/06/2025: Kind staff, helping with recommendations for restaurants and calling a taxi. The hotel itself is modern and comfortable. In my room the hair drier was not working and was changed after one call. The towels still had the stickers with barcode. How is this possible? I assume the towels were not washed before brought to the room. Besides this the room was clean. The air condition was for my taste too loud.

13/07/2025: I love performing at Sin É as much as I love hanging out there. Such a cool and welcoming place for metalheads or people who like rock music!

09/06/2025: Stayed in this hotel a good bit in the past and again on a few occasions most recently and I feel like I did a few years back about this hotel. Rooms really nice and bed very comfortable and staff so helpful and all in all it has a very relaxing vibe to it.

05/07/2025: Arrived today at your liffey valley branch at 3.30pm, waited almost 20 minutes and I had to ask a staff member to take our order. 40 minutes past and no food arrived, however multiple people that came in after our party of 4 had been served and left. I called a member of staff to ask what's going on to be told that others are just ordering fried food (which isn't true, I observed 2 burgers going to the table in question), turns out they lost our order, we're their an hour to have someone come over to retake the order. We ended up leaving. 2 autistic children starving, overwhelmed and quite upset at today's events. I can honestly say, the service is a disgrace and leaves a lot to be desired. Zero apology, just nothing but excuses.

19/05/2025: It seems the waiting list is just a marketing strategy by the owners or someone else. I waited for a while, even though there were plenty of empty seats. I still don’t understand the purpose of it. We ordered the Manhattan Project and Amazing Avocado—I liked the creative names, but that’s about it. The burgers cost around €13-14 each, without any sides. One of them had way too much mustard sauce, and the burgers were disappointingly small for the price, with very little flavor. My suggestion? If you’re willing to spend €4 more, there are better restaurants with much better food. Or, if you want something similar, you can easily find the same quality for €4-6 less.

14/06/2025: The staff is very unfriendly and don’t know how to treat customers. We were there last Sunday when at 11pm (although pub closure time on both website and Google maps states 11.30pm) we have been asked in a very rude way (mostly made of hand gestures) to leave. I understand that not all days are good for businesses but there are still kinder ways to ask customers to leave. Anyway, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this pub.

22/07/2025: The food at Carved Grand Canal is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Service is quick and friendly, which makes it a great lunch spot. The atmosphere isn’t anything special, but the food more than makes up for it. Perfect if you’re looking for a reliably good bite in the area.

24/06/2025: A real townie/Dublin bar. Spotless, attentive friendly staff, a rustic homemade menu plus right beside Mater and Temple street hospitals. Do visit a great experience.

16/07/2025: Such a great place, we went there for lunch on Saturday 5th July, the hostess was really friendly and welcoming so from then the experience turns comfortable and enjoyable. Comfortable and nice place, the food was incredibly nice. I definitely recommend this place and definitely will be back.

26/06/2025: Great value for money here. Came for lunch and found the portions excellent. Even brought home a doggie bag! The menu choices were good, service fast especially for lunch which is always a bonus during a work day. Staff were friendly and knowlegable. Would return and reccommend.

16/06/2025: It’s not even one star, minus star . Once again highly disappointed by a restaurant having india in it’s name and giving food which is no where near what we get in india. Where in india do you get chana which is clearly not even soaked before cooking, where do you find rotis which are this thick and raw, naan looked like frozen naan. Highly disappointed that this food is served in name indian food, kills an entire evening for someone and a good amount of money and possibly health because i am sure stomach is gonna hurt after eating unsoaked chana
