The best restaurants in Dublin

04/05/2026: Love it here! Used to be a wine cellar! 314sqft of fun. Bartenders (Nick and Fletch!) are awesome. 👏🏼 Gave lots of recommendations on other pubs and places to eat. Super small but everyone is friendly. Gets loud the later it gets and you have to almost yell to your mates but that’s part of the fun. I’ve come here nearly every evening of my stay and it’s been the saving grace of my Dublin trip. Thanks guys!!

04/05/2026: Have been here with friends and work colleagues and I have to say, the staff are really cool and helpful! The outdoor area is also a cool place to hang out and the staff kindly put the heaters on for us.

30/04/2026: I have been a regular customer in Black Bird for 15 years but recently was told by the "acting manager" Uisce (in front of other customers at the bar) that I will no longer be served in Black Bird. The reason given was I "made a staff member uncomfortable". I have never interacted with a member of staff unless it's to politely order a drink like everyone else who goes there. I have always been kind and courteous to the staff members of Blackbird. I am deeply disappointed that management have taken the word of a staff member and banned a 15 year regular customer. I tried to discuss the matter with Uisce, over WhatsApp and email but was essentially fobbed off and ignored. I would still like to speak with Upper management or the owner about this matter as its totally unfair and bizarre behaviour. They also banned my girlfriend who also did absolutely nothing wrong and has always been extremely polite to all staff. Very disappointing and shocking behaviour from staff and management. Extremely poor customer service.

16/05/2026: Drop Dead Twice are the absolute best. Reached out to them at semi-short notice about hosting day two of our wedding and they were absolute gems. Kelly made sure we had everything on the day - gorgeous upstairs space, a mic to run a pub quiz and a sound system to play our own music, along with excellent drinks and crisps. Daniel the bartender on the night was amazing, everyone genuinely loved chatting to him when they went to get a drink. Great people, great vibes, great drinks x

01/05/2026: First time being here, it was on my list for a long time. The place is very cozy with dim lights and different seatings. I was interested by the craft beers and was not disappointed, I discovered a local brewery. Daniel was just so lovely and great advice and storys on the beers and more it just makes the experience so great. Cheers Daniel

12/05/2026: Lovely meal on Monday 11/5. food was excellent and the waiter was very pleasant and helpful as we were not sure what to order. It is also very reasonably priced. When in Dalkey again will definitely be back to this restaurant.

21/04/2026: A wonderful, informative, and highly entertaining tour through the world of Irish literature. Several stops at great pubs offer the perfect opportunity for a pint. A Guinness is certainly welcome, but not required. We took the tour on April 20, 2026, and highly recommend it to everyone.

17/04/2026: This is one of the best things you can do in Dublin! Our guides were fun, personable, and engaging. They really brought alive the pages of Ireland’s literary greats, imbuing Dublin’s streets and pubs with even more character. Highly recommend!

03/05/2026: I’d been meaning to try this place for weeks, and finally made it there this morning — totally worth the wait. Ordered the beef burrito (top of the menu), and it was absolutely amazing. Easily one of the best I’ve had, especially for just €10. Writing this right after finishing it, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again soon. The lady there was so courteous and lovely making the food.

26/10/2025: Well done to Cris on building such a great business! I contacted him on relatively short notice hoping to get a showstopper of a cake for a big birthday and he completely delivered. The mirror glaze on the cakes looks stunning. I was worried that the cake might look better than it tastes but I can vouch that the blueberry/vanilla tastes delicious. The flavours were brilliantly balanced and it was nice and light too. I look forward to an excuse to come back and try another. Fair play to him for being so responsive on WhatsApp too.

11/10/2025: Amazing cake, I got the Blueberry & vanilla cake, delicious and divine had this cake for my siblings birthday, they were satisfied, (I know on the photo it looks a bit smudged but that was me) amazing 10/10, would recommend 100% and would definitely order again ❤️

26/05/2026: Helen at Humdinger Mortgages was just amazing. I can't speak highly enough of her. She is extremely knowledgeable, always approachable and really involved in the process. Aside from that, she is just a lovely person to engage with. I really felt like she did everything in her power to help us with our mortgage. Next to that, she is optimistic and kind which made the whole process a lot easier and more fun. I am forever grateful and would recommend her to anyone!

01/08/2025: For anyone looking for a gym but without the gym fear..this is the place to go!!! The best team of coaches with amazing support and understanding from each coach! The classes are fantastic with plenty of options! I had never been to a typical gym and was very nervous starting The Movement Studio but honestly it's been the best experience! Love Vinny and Kirstys classes. Getting fit and moving is actually fun 🤣

06/07/2025: The Movement Studio is a special place. Skilled and knowledgeable instructors who adapt and mould to all needs. This studio is the perfect mix of community and functional movement. I love coming here.

27/10/2025: Creative Cakes made our beautiful wedding cake and dessert table. Michael was incredible to deal with from start to finish. From the communication, tasting and service - we were blown away and couldn't recommend him more. Thank you so much Michael!

12/08/2025: The čevapčići !!! We asked to half it, because the portion for one person is large, and we had sides of ajvar and kajmak sauce for it! All we had was so so delicious and well prepared - all ingredients were top quality!!! They have a wide range of Balkan dishes, so Davor promised me THE best moussaka; it will be what I am trying next time 🫶🏼

07/08/2025: My favorite place in Dublin. Not only local food but you can hear our language all around you. Great place when you get nostalgic. The best thing is that they have great Turkish coffee.

12/05/2026: Lovely pub with great staff and our weekly getaway after parkrun. Staff are amazing and food and drink is gorgeous. There are different places to sit in inside and outside and it is one of few pubs that also works very well in larger groups
