The best restaurants in Dublin

28/10/2025: Welcoming atmosphere. The service from Bianca and Patrick was excellent. We ordered the beef and Guinness stew accompanied by a Merlot, as recommended, and it was wonderful. The dessert was also very tasty. I recommend it.

26/10/2025: Cannot give Patryck and the team enough stars. From start to finish, Patryck made sure our entire experience was flawless. From the moment we walked in, Patryck anticipated every need and helped us celebrate our recent engagement in a very special way. That mixed with being extremely personable made it the best service we’ve ever had. The food was spectacular and the drinks were perfect. To ensure we weren’t too hungover, Patryck entrusted us with a secret Polish recipe to a hangover cure and tasted phenomenal. Make sure to book a reservation because it does get busy but it is 100% worth it. Thank you for making our night so incredible.

12/09/2025: We stumbled across BigFan by accident and what a good accident it was. The restaurant was dimly lit creating a lovely atmosphere and the music was at the perfect volume level. Excellent music selection as well. The menu is a great read with lots of options that cater for all diets. We ordered the prawn toast, the best I’ve ever had, the duck wings, incredible, bao bun with beef and Chinese five spice, truly delicious, the lucky Crackers are a treat with the whipped tofu and yuzu dressing, simple yet delicious. The dumpling soup was rich and earthy and full of flavour. The service was excellent, fast and efficient, the food delivery was quick and brought to you when each item is ready. Make BigFan a must if you visit Dublin. We highly recommend it. I would have taken photos but I was more interested in eating the food than taking pics of it.

16/09/2025: We visited the bar on the main level. While we did not eat there, the food that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing. The drinks were great and at a decent price. The servers were very attentive and friendly.

05/10/2025: Had a lovely meal on Sunday. Staff are fantastic. Make sure to either book a table or get there before 1pm as it fills very quickly. That's the only quibble I would have.

18/10/2025: We are two Korean families living in Germany, and we visited Dublin for our holiday. During our five-day stay, we went to Ninja Sushi Asian Restaurant four times — twice for dine-in and twice for takeout. That probably tells you how much we enjoyed this place! Although it’s a Japanese restaurant, like many others in Europe, it’s run by Chinese staff. Because of that, the ramen has more of a Chinese-style flavor rather than a traditional Japanese one — which was the only minor downside for me. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. The rolls were large, fresh, and delicious. The basic Japanese dishes such as takoyaki and tempura shrimp were of high quality, and the donkatsu rice bowl, yaki udon, and yakisoba were also outstanding. The food was served very quickly, which made the experience even better. The lady owner and the staff were very kind and flexible. Once, due to our family situation, only our children came to pick up the food for takeout, and the owner kindly allowed us to return later to pay — which was incredibly considerate. Overall, both the food and the service were fantastic. We truly enjoyed every visit and would highly recommend this restaurant. If we come back to Dublin again, we will definitely visit here again.

05/11/2025: Lovely place for a pint. Whenever I’m in Dublin, I make sure to stop by. The staff is friendly and hospitable. I’ve had friends recommend me this place in the past and I will definitely be back next time I am in Ireland. I would suggest this to anyone coming to Dublin for a visit. One of a kind type of place

28/10/2025: Amazing food! It is a well-located restaurant and it is easy to get to. It has a very nice ambience when you go inside where you feel like you are somewhere in Asia. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The taco that I ordered was amazing! Definitely going to come back with my friends and have more of their dishes.

25/10/2025: Hi, I'm a long-time regular here and I really appreciate the quality you usually maintain. I wanted to flag something recently: I always order the espresso but lately, the consistency has been off. The last few times, it has tasted distinctly sour and lacking clarity, especially compared to how great it was just a few weeks ago. Since I order the same thing every time, I can really notice the shift. I tried to tell the staff, but got an exact same sour shot again, I didn’t drink it.

25/05/2025: It's true to say Leopardstown Racecourse is my local track as I was born just 6km away. In my humble opinion it's the number one Racecourse in Ireland because it caters for both top class Flat and National Hunt racing. The success of the four day annual Christmas Festivals, the two day Dublin Racing Festival held in February ( best pre Cheltenham trials ) and the Saturday Champions Day in September speaks for itself. It holds the best trials for both Guineas races and the Derby and it's a pity the Curragh has a monopoly on the five Classics as Leopardstown deserves at least just one, maybe the St Leger. The facilities are superb and the impressive lay out means you can experience the unique atmosphere and excitement of a day at the races up close and personal. Down through the years I have had the privilege to witness so many Racing legends both human and equine and will just mention a few, Lester Piggott, Pat Eddery, Frankie Dettori, Ryan Moore, Vincent O'Brien and Aidan O'Brien, Sadler's Wells, Golden Fleece, Daylami, Dawn Run, Istabraq, Danoli and Hurricane Fly. The only thing I miss is the straight Sprint course as Sprint races run around two bends are not the same

24/05/2025: Absolutely top class throughout. Really customer friendly. Loads of places to sit. Plenty of shelter on a bad day. Management have done a fabulous job in its ongoing design. Clearly a lot of I intelligent and creative thought has been put into it and it’s getting the crowds this deserves. One negative is the entrance charge but that’s a problem across Irish racing. I would highly recommend it for a day or evening out.

21/10/2025: A truly terrible experience. They even questioned me for not paying the bill??? Thank you to the Taiwanese lady for clarifying the matter and clearing our name. Otherwise, I don't know how long the female supervisor would have been harassed by us.

21/10/2025: "Are you okay?" I asked, "Mrs. Madam, the female supervisor." After dinner, my friend and I took the initiative to pay the bill. When we went downstairs, we were cordially asked if we'd checked in. "Sister, it's the 21st century now. You could have just spent a second or two checking in with your staff. It's really hard on you to have to greet excited customers again after a meal. Please stop casually passing on your negativity to customers. However, the Taiwanese lady who served us was amazing. Thank you for your service and for helping us clarify things. I hope you have a happy life."

25/09/2025: We got a takeout pizza at Vice Pizza & Wings Shop while staying at a hotel nearby. We had high hopes the pizza would be good, since we watched the owner-chef make the pizza with fresh ingredients right in the shop. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't at all good — very little seasoning like garlic, oregano, and a soggy crust. This is a shame, when the pizza was obviously not pre-fab.
