The best restaurants in Dublin

11/07/2026: Tasty pizza. Gluten free base options - though it's very tough and hard to cut it does taste good. Service was hit and miss - 1 excellent hitter but two missers.

08/07/2026: Went here for lunch on Tuesday. Surprisingly very few people, so we could choose any place. Best napoletan pizza in Dublin that I've tried so far. Kids menu. Great atmosphere for a lazy lunch. Service varies

02/09/2026: Staff are lovely and professional. Food is quite nice, just wish they used real maple syrup instead of maple flavour syrup.

23/08/2026: We ordered the buttermilk pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious! They also provided maple syrup at no extra cost. The food came out quickly, even though the cafe was full. The tables are usually set up for two people, but I noticed that the staff were very accommodating and happy to push tables together for larger groups. Would definitely visit again!

28/07/2026: Fantastic bakery, have been going here since 2019! I especially recommend the apple pie and ginger men. Alva is always so helpful.

13/08/2026: I had the joy of eating at Assassination Custard with three friends. It was one of the best meals I’ve had this year. The menu was creative and exiting, and brought together dishes with a broad range of tastes and flavours. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to chat. The small size of the restaurant adds an intimate yet airy atmosphere. I’ll be bringing friends to Assassination Custard for a long time to come

31/07/2026: There is a reason a small place like assassination custard can last 11 years and that's the quality of the food and the service. An amazing husband and wife team serving up uncomplicated small plates of amazing food that are so flavourful. Order three to four per person and you will be well fed. Either of the team will talk you through the menu which changes daily due to what is in season and market availability, It Is a small room with a great communal vibe to it, unpretentious and homely. I don't take pictures of my food, I smell and taste it before I consume it. So no pictures here, whatever you order you won't be disappointed. A great place to visit in a group of four, get the large table order lots of different plates and share.

01/07/2026: The service was amazing and the hotel itself is located perfectly in the city with St. Stephen’s Park right across the street. Breakfast was definitely a highlight! Will definitely look to book again.

09/06/2026: Just back from a fabulous overnight stay in The Fitzwilliam hotel. Fantastic location right beside the Luas. Shauna in reception was exceptional and went above and beyond for us from the moment we arrived and was so friendly and welcoming… as was all staff throughout our stay. Food and drinks were just fabulous and rooms were stunning. Highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back soon.

08/08/2026: I came with a friend on Friday night. To start, the entrance fee was €25… and it was full of underage kids in tracksuits, caps, jogging bottoms, and shorts. So the average age was 17 at most. They didn't screen anyone and let them in. Lots of people were smoking cannabis on the balcony. I'm still giving it two stars because the setting is nice overall.

31/07/2026: Irish Rock and Roll museum is a great visit for anyone with an interest in music. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend a visit.

11/08/2026: Best pizza 🍕 around. The guys working there are so friendly and polite. We had really good experience with this place. Definitely will be back again. Highly recommend this place to everyone visiting this part of Dublin.

04/08/2026: Waited almost 2 hours and this is the standard of what got delivered. If you're going to list a telephone number, at least answer it. Alternatively, don't take an order if you can't deliver it within a reasonable time.

22/09/2026: Just got my first order Lamb fhal, seekh kebab And doner kebab, proper chilli sauce for the doner. 10 out or 10, the food was excellent this will be my new Indian takeaway

25/08/2026: Really enjoyed my visit here! Tried a couple of their pizza slices and both were full of flavour, with a great crust and quality toppings. I also tried one of their desserts, which was a lovely way to finish the meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a pizza fan

10/06/2026: No more stars until you 1. Clean the toilets 2. Clear the cobwebs off the lights. 3. Re shelve below the service area behind the bar. Really, you can do better.

01/06/2026: Had a great experience at the Coach House at the weekend. Terrific atmosphere on Sat for the champions league final, then had a superb meal on Sunday. My wife and Aunt had roast beef and I had the beef curry, meat was cooked to perfection. Very attentive bar and waitress staff, and cracking pint of Krombacher. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Balinteer!

23/09/2026: It's a very good restaurant. It's clean. The food is delicious (we tried the wontons and the sweet and sour chicken with rice). They have lemon iced tea, which, in my opinion, is the best Asian iced tea. The service is excellent and efficient. It's very well located. The prices are reasonable. I recommend it.

20/09/2026: A simple Chinese restaurant with a diverse and delicious menu. Many Asians also dine here! Extensive selection at fair prices. Fast, friendly service. Perfect if you're looking for non-Irish cuisine!

12/09/2026: I had a fantastic time at this pub during my last night in Ireland. However, my evening took a turn for the worse when a female server approached me and asked to bring me my bill and cash me out before I was even ready. It was evident that this server didn’t want me there and “kicked me out” while I was enjoying my glass of wine, minding my own business. As a tourist, I overheard her say that she “doesn’t like Americans.” On the positive side, the first server provided me with a great history of the building, which I appreciated since I studied history at university and was drawn to Ireland for its rich history. I would definitely go back to this pub, but I would absolutely ask for a different server if I saw her again. The male servers were respectful and polite, but the female server on duty was extremely rude and unpleasant.

12/09/2026: This place is gorgeous! Very cool old building with a very cool vibe. The chicken sandwich was fine, the chips + curry sauce were great - but the real star was our server Jonathan who was incredibly attentive and very kind. We had a minor mistake with our food when it arrived and he had it handled ASAP and even remembered our side of extra curry sauce. Thanks Jonathan! We’re sure to be back based on the amazing building and great service :)
