16/05/2025: Great staff, friendly, fast and always smiling

25/04/2025: Got takeaway from this restaurant on Uber Eats. Fish and chips had some skin left on the fish which isn't common. Kebab was decent but had limp brown pieces of lettuce which I had to remove while eating. Banoffee was €4.50 for a tiny slice and when I went to eat it it was a horrible bitter taste, something must have been gone off. Would not recommend.

22/05/2025: It must be said that the atmosphere is rather nice and elegant, especially the bar facing the garden. The service was efficient and there were no mistakes were made, however, for a restaurant of such style, there was no wow factor. Wine is served rather casually and I asked for ice cream for a desert and I was told that is not on the menu, minutes later it was served on the tables next to me.. And the food, the starter that I had was tiny and that was very welcome as the taste was awful ( extremely salty and heavy), it was a seafood cocktail and one could not taste any seafood. Another guest on my table thought the same, I would give it 3 out of 10. The main was a sirloin steak with chunky chips and pepper sauce. The steak was lovely, 8 or 9 out of 10 but the chips and pepper sauce didn't impress in any way. No greens on the side. The desert was a praline mousse, and I think the taste was fine but the presentation failed to impress (even the children on our table). Overall, the only thing that deliver to me was the grilled meat. It is a fine atmosphere and I thought that some live music would be a very nice touch. It is a nice experience, but at that price people do expect more.

11/05/2025: I was here with my girlfriend for an amazing dinner! the Burgers are really good and the manager (Alex) is so kind and qualified. We'll come back for sure!

04/05/2025: Excellent cocktail (clarified piña colada), great food and very warm service. Booked as an early birthday dinner with my partner. We had the bread & butter, sea bream crudo (excellent), steak and agnolotti, and chocolate mousse. All very good, and quality ingredients. Nice ambiance, small venue so book ahead, overall would recommend!

21/04/2025: If you are a foody... Take the taxi trip out of Dublin to here, it's well worth it. Amazing food, host was really nice. Small cozy Operation. The Lamb Ragu was world class

26/03/2025: RACIST… I’ve never pulled the race card but I have also never been harassed out of a bar before! My friends and I who were visiting Ireland for work were harassed by this woman who was a friend of the owner or one of the staff. We thought she was a random drunk but when we told the waitress about her the waitress ignored us, looked at the woman, and took her order like we didn’t exist! The woman kept asking us if we were sex traffickers and when we asked her to leave she kept insulting us and saying if we aren’t careful her friends in the back would come out and talk with us. Then we saw that everyone around us was white and got the message to leave. As we left with our drinks unfinished the woman was talking to an older man who looked like the owner or manager, as though they were friends. You go and make your own judgements on the place but look around and see if you see anyone who isn’t white being served. This was just our experience and unfortunately it was horrible. 03/06/2025: DJ’d here for a 21st birthday recently. The upstairs function room is good and spacious. Load in with equipment was ok. Plenty of parking outside. I would recommend this venue for any event. If you need a DJ for this venue contact me through Instagram @ DJStephenPaterson

16/05/2025: If I could give this place zero stars I would , to be honest , its an absolute nightmare of a place , i performed live music here for just over a year from 2023 to 2024 with a friend of mine and countless times they didnt pay me a cent , the bar staff members that served me over the years were very standoff ish and bad mannered and they didn't seem to care about others and seemed like they had severe hearing deficits , I went for something to eat in the lounge one night and when I asked about why a menu item was removed I was laughed at by some young waitress , there seems to be alot of vaping going on in this pub with customers and staff which should not be allowed at all despite the smoking ban being in place since 2004 , if your thinking of going somewhere to eat I would avoid this place like the plague

02/06/2025: If you’re not a local, you’re not welcome here. Went at 17.00 for a quick bite to eat and was told that since we didn’t have a booking we would have to be gone by 18.30. This was fine with us. Once we were sat down and drinks were ordered, a waitress came over all guns blazing seemingly annoyed that we were put at that table. We told her we’d be gone by 18.30 and she said that she had taken the booking for a regular and he would be in by 18.00 (how were we supposed to know this?). We quickly ordered food promising to eat it fast. However, we felt so uncomfortable after the whole ordeal that we ended up cancelling the meal. Terrible service and an awful way to treat people.

01/06/2025: We didn't eat, we just had a few pints, but the place was very nice and the service was very good, we had a very pleasant time.

20/05/2025: We were a party of four..walked in around 5:45 pm and immediately seated. Service was wonderful, atmosphere cozy and inviting. Outdoor seating available. The food was INCREDIBLE! Clearly the pasta was fresh and sauces were homemade and bursting with flavor! Portions were perfect. This is authentic italian right across from St. Stephen’s Green. Great location, great food! Highly highly recommend!

05/06/2025: The twisted mac and cheese with chicken was quite dry, but all the other dishes were as good as usual. The service was excellent, and there was great live music in the basement. The decor was a bit sparse, with far too few "devotional items" for me.
