23/12/2024: Absolutely amazing pizza, great vibes, and quick service. I love how they open late as this is a must stop during a night out! Literally cannot compare this pizza to anywhere else, it is a thin dough and just so perfectly crisp. I highly recommend adding hot honey to your pizza as well!

21/12/2024: Great place for a quick bite for NYC style pizza. The restaurant is tiny tho so you gotta stand and eat.

14/12/2024: This coffee shop is great because dogs are allowed to sit inside while you enjoy your beverage. Also the aztec hot chocolate is delicious!

10/12/2024: Everything about this place is good. The coffee, the one or two food items that they serve, oats, everything! I'm a fairly regular customer there. If I have to nitpick then only con would be sometimes it is a little tough to find a place to sit as the cafe would be full.

18/10/2024: Best coffee in Knocklyon area. Really handy that they open at 8am. Handy to get to with lot of parking available, especially in the morning.

12/12/2024: Great pub with excellent staff. Very clean with great attention to detail. Highly recommend for a pint with friends or family. We didn't eat on this occasion.

16/11/2024: Great to have a real bar oin the area. This pub do all the important things right. Clean glasses great Guinness and beer and prompt service. The customers were happy which resulted in a great pub atmosphere. If you're near by call in for a pint.

21/12/2024: It is a really good place to go for a nice meal. It has indoor and outdoor area. The staff is very friendly. The few times we have been there the food has been very good and the service good too. A place to repeat.

16/12/2024: We returned to the establishment several times and will come again! The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is friendly. Of course, the room is a little cramped, but the food is worth it, very tasty!

02/01/2025: A great experience! We did the gin making class where you take home a bottle and it couldn't have been any better! Glen was our host and was incredibly fun and informative. We had delicious gin and tonics to start before learning about Stillgarden and tasting the different gins. Then we picked the ingredients to create our own gin, made cocktails, ate charcuterie, and enjoyed everyone's company while waiting for the gin to be infused and bottled. I cannot recommend this experience enough, everything was delicious and Glen and the other patrons made it one of our favorite nights in Ireland!

30/12/2024: Good for once, but you won't see me again. Most of the courses were excellent, only a few were average. BUT: When you make your reservation, you are told that you only have a seat for 1:45 hours. This is enforced by the superficial staff, even though you would like to continue consuming. I have never experienced that in Europe. Unfortunately, the guest is just a cash cow here and not a guest. Reservation is requiem.

16/10/2024: Good food and coffee. We tried 2 different versions of the egg and toast (with mushroom and with salmon) and they both tasted really good. This cage doesn’t have an extensive menu- but why they have is pretty great. The coffee tasted really good too:

23/12/2024: We met for Brunch at Southbank and had a great experience. The cafe is spacious and cozy yet bright. Not too noisy even though it was busy. The food was delicious as were the drinks and the service was fantastic. We will certainly be back again.

17/12/2024: A great contemporary café right on the Grand Canal that is a good spot for weekday lunch, weekend brunch and everything in between. Come with your friends, with a book or (on weekdays) with your laptop to get some work done. I personally cannot get enough of the porridge, but I can also recommend the eggs on toast and the veggie sandwich for lunch. Southbank is definitely a mainstay in our brunch list, and it's usually possible to get in without a reservation - at least for two people - though I'd recommend booking either way.

20/12/2024: I was here with my friends and we ordered lunch for the four of us. The total ended up being €66 for 2 wings, a hot chocolate and a bruschetta. My fiends and I thought this was very expensive. In the bill it included a 12.5% service charge which my friends and I thought was absolutely ridiculous, it was only four of us and usually it is for groups of six and above. This left us feeling confused. The wait was about 10 minutes which I found reasonable but could be improved, and to top this horrible lunch off even more, the servers in this location were the most rude and inconsiderate people that I have ever come across in the service industry, the waiter that took our order seemed bored and didn’t seem like they wanted to be there at all. when it was time to pay we wanted to split the bill between us and the waiter did NOT like this, they said that they needed to do maths and that he’d be back to calculate, we had already thought about this and figured out how much we needed to pay ahead of time but they decided to add the service charge so we had to recalculate EVERYTHING! Overall this experience was NOT good in the slightest. Bad service and impolite staff. Do better SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.

15/12/2024: Very disappointed. Have always been a fan of Elephant & Castle, but unfortunately gone back a lot in my estimation. Got a shared platter of chicken wings, they were overcooked. Wife got seafood tagliatelle. It had 3 prawns in it, we complained and waiter said 3 to 4 prawns is what's in it. To be fair he gave her more. But it was extremely bland. Got the Christmas special chargrilled burger. Burger was overcooked and small. One big piece of pickle and the end of a bell tomato. Again very bland. Overall not great food and very overpriced. Unfortunately won't be back.

08/12/2024: I am a big fan of this restaurant and a regular. I ordered several kinds. 1 Satayfried chicken bowl. It was so delicious with sweet and spicy curryish sauce, pickles and peppers. Plus, the size was perfect enough. 2 Christmas bowl. It was different thing from menu's image and dissatisfying. The staff didn't communicate with me that I couldn’t know if he really listened to my order. In the end, it lacked the dressing and one kind of important ingredients (miso grazed sprouts ). I was really sad 😔 3 Taco bowl. It’s okay, a little bit spicy but not too much. I can say that it is the safest option for customers who can’t imagine the taste of each salad. One negative thing about this restaurant is that menu is too difficult to imagine what it would taste like without photo images. Hope they will add some pictures.

22/11/2024: Excellent kale ceasar salad. Very good combination Thanks for allowing to remove tomatoes and suggested to substitute to my preference. Best experience ever.
