26/06/2025: Great for a quick lunch or a light dinner. You order at the counter, pay and wait at the table. The atmosphere is modern and clean, with nice paintings that catch your attention while you wait. We tried the soup of the day, very creamy and tasty, accompanied by a simple but satisfying BLT sandwich and a turkey bagel.

27/10/2025: I happened into this place at the corner, thirsty for a pint and hungry for a meal. It was perfect. All I knew of Irish beer was Guinness - I wanted to try something different. The bartender was super friendly, I wish I knew her name, she helped me pick a local lager by lining up a taste of three for me and I picked the Ambush. She was great. The fish and chips were the best. Comfortable inside not too crowded not too empty friendly good music but not overpowering and it was ideal. So I came back two days later and had exactly the same, the bartender remembered me welcoming back, I sat at a table and read my book, had my meal, drank my beer - a cold rainy but perfect night in Dublin.

11/01/2026: I love the design and atmosphere there, celebrated Xmas festival with family. The food were great, I miss the chicken salad till now very delicious. Services so good, Jelena is wonderful. The cocktails she made special and tasty. Happy new year!

27/12/2025: Good burgers nice cider and the concert venues upstairs. Can’t believe I saw Emmure and Atilla up there years ago. Great venue .

20/01/2026: Visited with gf, we had: Squid Tempura starter with Tuna Steak (rare) and Tofu steak, both with a side of rice. It was my first time visiting and her second, the food was literally steaming hot when it was served! Did mean I burnt my tongue trying to eat it because I was hungry! But good to know that the food was cooked fresh! The steaks were surprisingly filling and we both ended up leaving most of our rice untouched, so if I go back again I'll just get a main with no side. I'd definitely go back but get their earlier so I'm less hungry and can wait for my food to cool down more! Toilets were also very clean - which is surprising nowadays unfortunately! So that is notable too. Considering how busy the restaurant was, it wasn't too loud thankfully and the background music was nice, also not too loud, so you could hear what people were saying! Also shouldn't be notable but I've been places recently who have the music up way too loud so you have to shout!

07/11/2025: Didn't actually get to have dinner because there was an event when we were slated to go and they were out of what we wanted but the staff were very kind and very inviting. It seems like a good place. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to be back.

30/07/2025: Gorgeous restaurant, we just had pizzas and drinks at the bar which were so delicious. I highly recommended the margarita.

29/07/2025: Lovely place, great cocktails. Pizzas delicious, would steer clear of the ravioli. Two of our party had it and both didn’t rate it. Tasteless and more like a soup broth with a bit of pasta thrown in.

03/12/2025: An iconic boozer. Lots of character and history. Just look at the walls for a collection of experience and stories. Great pint of Guinness and the food truck out the back serves incredible Vietnamese food. Point of note though, it's a cash only bar. There's an ATM on-site but the bar doesn't take card. Also it's dog friendly!

20/01/2026: Went to Layla’s Rooftop Restaurant with a group of 7 friends for dinner, most of us being vegetarians, and we had a fantastic time! The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of good vegetarian options, and the presentation was beautiful. The service was attentive and friendly, and the overall ambience was perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. Loved the rooftop view as well — made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere!

11/01/2026: Very slow to take our order. Good value but poached eggs were overcooked. Thankfully, an attentive member of staff spotted this and immediately rectified the problem by taking them back and bringing us some freshly cooked poached eggs. Coffee was ok and the fresh juice was very refreshing.

10/01/2026: We went to the pub and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, a vegetable soup and Caesar salad. We also enjoyed the live music, which made us sing along. All in all, a lovely afternoon.
