18/03/2026: To the woman from California (Monday, March 16th) I visited The International on Monday evening, March 16th, and experienced what were perhaps the best 20 minutes of my life. I sat at the old wooden bar and met a woman from California. In that short time, we realized we shared the exact same outlook on life—a connection that felt incredibly rare and genuine. Unfortunately, I had to leave in a hurry and didn't get a name or any contact information. If you happen to read this: our conversation meant a lot to me and I’ve thought about it ever since. To the staff at The International: thank you for providing the kind of atmosphere where such magic can happen. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a place with heart.

06/03/2026: I only bought a small takeaway item and wasn't greeted or said goodbye. I guess that wasn't enough...

21/02/2026: I bought a nice organic salmon from this establishment and I have asked a staff member to fillet it for me. Unfortunately the lack of fish monger skills meant that a beautiful fish was absolutely "Butchered". I trusted the staff member that agreed to fillet my fish however, once I made it home I discovered that one of the fillets had been badly damaged while the other one still had the back bone still attached to the fillet. When I contacted the shop to complain about what happened, I was told that the store manage would have been in touch to resolve the issue however, no one from Beshoffs was in touch and I ended up with a "mangled" organic salmon. Given the situation, the poor skills in filleting a fish (in a fish monger shop) and the fact that nobody bothered to get in touch with me despite my complaint, I think a one star review is well deserved.

17/03/2026: The Belfry allows you to bring your dog in while you have a pint. Never seen this before. Good thinking though. Doubt it was an all day thing that you could bring your pet. You'd need to check with the staff.

26/02/2026: The flavour of the salad is exceptional. I find myself thinking about the salad all the time, could never replicate it! The seasoning on the chips is tasty and I love the bao bun. Homemade lemonades and cocktails are great. Nice price for lunch deal. The fact they have vegan and meat options is great for everyone and in terms of flavour I give this spot a 5/5.

07/01/2026: Always a joy to shop here but I just had to sit down and give a 5 star review of experience there this morning. From the moment I entered the shop where the trolley was already pulled out for me, to the man who helped me at the killadoon milk dispenser, to the friendly girl on the checkout and finally the lovely John who helped me load my shopping in the car. I can't praise this shop enough except to finally say that the quality of product and selection is always the best. Thank you so much Supervalu Churchtown ☺️

12/03/2026: I came here for lunch with a friend. We ordered pizza and carbonara. the waiter told us about the lunch deal some of the meals with a soft drink for €15. Food was delicious and restraunt was very nice to sit in. we will be back.

The seating is arranged in a way that makes extended visits genuinely comfortable, and the atmosphere never feels hurried or tense. It’s a pleasant space to sit, relax and enjoy uninterrupted time without pressure.
