The best restaurants in Dublin

06/12/2024: I cannot say enough about their coffee. I go in every morning with my son on the way to school my my morning coffee and his hot chocolate or baby chino (depending what he's in the mood for) and it's always great. The girls are really friendly also.

29/06/2025: This is a very well presented large restaurant, nice decor and a very lovely setting right on the grand canal and their outdoor seating area is lovely on a bright day. I was here on Saturday and the restaurant was very quiet - hardly four tables occupied and that is very surprising for Dublin. I had the cauliflower soup to start - it was flavoured well and tasted good but was just coloured broth instead of soup - watery. For mains I had the chicken and what arrived was half a piece of chicken that was tough accompanied by a bit of courgette and some mash and jus. The jus was flavourful and mash was really smooth and tasty - but the dish was very disappointing as a whole. My friend had speck and truffle pizza and that was very flavourful and perfectly baked. Overall I might try them for breakfast sometime as the setting is lovely - but the food is nothing to rush back for and the prices are ridiculously high for what you get.

27/06/2025: Wouldn’t have guessed how nice this place was walking up to it - it’s a gorgeous spot overlooking the river - food was excellent - everyone in my group loved what they ordered & some tend to be hard to please! Will be back very soon!

27/05/2025: An excellent spot for high tea in Dublin! This hotel has a rich and impressive history in the city. They have three times for tea - 12pm, 2pm(or 3? Can’t remember) and 5pm. You have about 2 hours there and the food and tea are unlimited! Of course the scones are to die for, but don’t sleep on the egg salad sandwiches!

01/04/2025: ¡Qué placer! Vine aquí para una celebración de cumpleaños y no puedo esperar a volver aquí. ¡Siento que se acerca una nueva tradición! El sábado 29 de marzo, a las 14: 30, vine aquí a tomar el té de la tarde con mi novio por su cumpleaños, y oh chico fue una delicia. En primer lugar, el servicio fue excelente. Lucy, nuestra excelente servidora nos llevó a nuestra mesa y nos explicó todo, y lo que realmente se me quedó fue cuando dijo "el cielo es el límite" y seguro que lo fue! ¡Tuviste que sacarme de ahí! El sándwich abierto feta batido era uno de nuestros favoritos, al igual que la rodaja de frambuesa pistacho, simplemente para MORIR. ¡Nuestro té favorito tenía que ser el whisky irlandés y la crema! Todas nuestras necesidades fueron atendidas en términos de más alimentos, condimentos y tés. La decoración era impresionante y nos dieron los mejores asientos de la casa! Nuestro día fue realmente especial.

30/07/2025: A warm welcoming spot with a cozy Italian feel. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is delicious full of flavour and beautifully presented. Perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

27/07/2025: The food and service were excellent, I really enjoyed the attentiveness of staff and wide selection of dishes on the menu. The cocktails were also amazing. We will definitely be back again.

10/07/2025: Great local spot. Very friendly staff. They have a pizza shop outside that is delicious as well. Reasonably priced drinks way cheaper than temple bar area.

29/07/2025: A smaller Italian spot that I was looking forward to trying. I was excited to see the Amatriciana Aranchini on the menu as this seems so innovative but unfortunately they fell a little on the flatter side in terms of taste. The Calamari was just okay and the Bresola was good but should be served with bread. The ragu whilst looking delicious, again was just okay on the flavour side but the tagliatelle was perfectly al denté. One of my friends dining with me was Muslim and it was disappointing they did not mocktails nor did our waiter know if some dishes had alcohol in them. We also waited 20+mins for a waiter to offer us dessert menus which was strange as it is such a small venue. The tiramisu was nice but a bit small of €9. The mousse was again just okay. I think the lunch menu makes sense value wise but I don’t think I’ll be racing back.

27/07/2025: I've always ordered a vegetarian party kit, but this time it came with chicken dishes along with the vegetarian snacks. A gross and careless mistake.

19/07/2025: We are blessed to be diners of very good Italian food all over thr US and UK This small but Vibrant authentic Italian restaurant is off the hook good! Especially since it's nestled in the Temple Bar area of Dublin surrounded by Irish pubs! Who knew? We have been and will keep coming back everything delicious so dont miss out!!!

13/07/2025: Vasil, my server was beyond helpful, informative, professional and kind. I ordered the grilled octopus and crab. Both dishes were absolutely delicious!! The atmosphere was beautiful. I will definitely go back again and bring my husband, family and friends. I highly recommend Beshoff’s. Side note….grabbed fresh fish next door at their market. It’s was delicious!!!

11/07/2025: Unbeknownst to us we got in right before lunch service ended which is why I'm assuming our service wasn't good, although we didn't realize and would have gone elsewhere if we had been told. The chowder was the worst we've had, like a seafood stock with a few bits of meat. The mussels were drenched in garlic, hard to know how they tasted except for that. The oysters and salmon were 10/10, but it didn't make up for the lack of service unfortunately.

22/06/2025: Extremely disappointed! Pasta was not cooked well, service was slow and tables dirty. Aranchini had no flavor. Staff gave me this wooden fork. Would not recommended at all.

03/07/2025: Amazing food, we’ve been coming here weekly either to eat in or takeaway for team lunches, salads are always amazing but the firm favourite has to be the BELT sandwich on freshly baked in house sourdough! Such a great asset to the area, the only place for a guaranteed great lunch!! Super friendly team too! Oh and the brownies…can’t not mention them…soooo good!

01/07/2025: One of my favourite hidden gems. Fabulous Lunch spot. Always with fresh ingredients Made daily in the farmhouse café and Bakery... they make their own bread and it's always so yummy!!

29/07/2025: While we found the food to be enjoyable with only minor faults, we were unfortunately quite disappointed by the service we received. There were several occasions where we felt overlooked, with long gaps between interactions and multiple instances where requests were either forgotten or not followed up on. This impacted the overall atmosphere of the evening and left us feeling frustrated. I would consider returning for the food, but I would hesitate to recommend the restaurant to others at this time due to the quality of service we experienced. I hope this feedback is helpful and that improvements can be made for future guests.

11/04/2025: Just came across this wonderful place, quality of food is excellent, honestly Irish homely food. Service was excellent. Had ☕️, chicken fillet burger with their own batter 🌟 , cheese burgers ⭐️, baked potatoes with cheese and onion 🌟. Recommend👍
