The best restaurants in Dublin

22/05/2025: Dropped in again today, will end up a rolling donut meself. Great spot, guess what they sell? Coffee and donuts, Chief Wiggums favorite. Haven't had a bad donut yet. Always get a variety 6 pack. Staff always friendly, huge recommendations and delighted the new shops open on O' Connell Street.

22/05/2025: Very unfriendly , half decent coffee. Would not recommend, especially for international visitors felt very unwelcome.

14/05/2025: This place is a hidden gem, they have varieties of food selection combining Japanese and Brazilian twist cuisine. They have burger and sushi's the food is so good. The staffs are amazing he helped to choose the food which turned out be amazing and was really helpful. The seating is limited and thats an issue. The food takes time around 20 to 30 mins. Would highly recommend this place.

15/04/2025: Absolutely loved this place! The salmon moilee was rich and flavorful, perfectly spiced. Ended the meal with sticky toffee pudding and mango & pistachio kulfi—both were heavenly. Great food, warm vibes, will definitely be back!

16/05/2025: Our family is vegan, and this is probably our favourite Dublin restaurant. Lots of vegan options, and the tofu is amazing - best I've had outside Japan.

14/05/2025: The Fitzpatrick castle was amazing. It’s not too far from Dublin so the location is great. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and were always available when we needed anything. The Dungeon Bar has really good food and drinks so check them out if you have the chance. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Ireland.

25/05/2025: This is the BEST HOTEL in Dublin!!!! I stayed here for the first time and I loved every minute of my stay here. The location is fantastic and there are many things very near by, which is fantastic! The service here was absolutely exceptional they made sure we had the best room in the hotel. I felt very welcomed here. The room was incredible, I stayed in the Shaw suite. The room was very spacious and it had everything we could of possibly needed. I loved the lay out of the room and I loved that it had a shower and a bath. The staff really took care of my husband and I and went out of their way to ensure we had a very pleasant stay. The bed in the room was enormous and so so comfortable. The leisure area in the hotel was also the best I've ever been in. It was extremely clean. The pool, sauna,steam room and jacuzzi were amazing, definitely a big bonus!!! I would highly recommend this hotel. Its the best!!!!!!

07/04/2025: Nice bar, very quiet, is good to come and drink a beer meanwhile you can talk with friends. Is a very irish bar with local people. The bartman is kind. They have music, but no so loudy so you can talk without problem.

16/11/2024: We have gone to try the coffee with Bayleys. It's not bad but the 9.5 eur they charge seems exorbitant to me. Small and cozy place.

03/05/2025: Amazing food! We had the lunch menu with Beef Nilaga, Bistek Tagalog and BBQ skewer and we loved them! The lady at the counter was also patient and friendly towards us as we were new to filipino cuisine so we had many questions. Initially, we thought that the price was a bit high for the variety of food you can get but the portion is huge anyway with many pieces of meat so all good! 100% would recommend this place for authentic and tasty filipino food!

06/04/2025: We ordered online for the takeaways, we ordered butter chicken and Seafood Moilee, I’m a big fan of Indian food, but the version I got from this place, butter chicken is very watery, seafood Moilee is very fishy but flavorless. I don’t think we would come back again.

Best of everything at Mehek are the lovely people who run this restaurant, you get such homely vibes, such a pleasant experience and to top it all freshly prepared home food served with a smile 😊😊

25/04/2025: We celebrated a friend’s birthday dinner here. The customer service was amazing, the waiters were attentive and charismatic, the food was spectacular and so flavourful! We couldn’t get any pictures because we couldn’t wait to eat it all!

18/04/2025: Llegamos para una comida reservada para celebrar el 80 cumpleaños de mi madre, una ocasión muy especial para nuestra familia. Después de haber conducido desde Tipperary, elegimos este restaurante porque una vez había sido nuestro favorito cuando vivíamos cerca. Mencioné esto al hacer la reserva, esperando que se sumaría a la sensación de ocasión. Lamentablemente, la experiencia no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. A la llegada, el hombre que nos saludó era cortés y poco acogedor. Nos apresuramos a ir directamente a una mesa que estaba tan cerca de los demás que nos sentíamos todos sentados en una larga mesa comunitaria. Era incómodo y completamente carente de privacidad. Afortunadamente, una amable y atenta camarera entendió nuestro malestar y nos ayudó a trasladarnos a un lugar más adecuado. Fue decepcionante ver a los huéspedes delante de nosotros, que parecían ser habituales, que ofrecían bebidas en el bar antes de su comida. También hubiéramos apreciado esa opción, especialmente dada la importancia de la ocasión. Un mes antes, había cenado aquí y me quedé impresionado por la comida. Fue excepcional: complejo, refinado y bellamente equilibrado. Nos encontramos con un hombre amable, con ropa tradicional, y aunque llegué tarde, todavía era maravillosamente acogedor. Esta vez, tristemente, la comida se sentía plana en comparación. No fue malo, simplemente poco notable. Todo sabía un poco demasiado similar, sin la sutileza y profundidad que había admirado anteriormente. Para un día tan especial, simplemente no valió la pena el viaje ni el costo. En contraste, almorzamos al día siguiente en The Ivy, y la diferencia fue notable. La comida era excepcional, el ambiente cálido, y mi madre se hizo sentir realmente especial — todo lo que esperábamos en esta celebración de cumpleaños. Escribo esta reseña con la esperanza de que lo que está pasando con este lugar se puede arreglar, ya que siempre fue una joya.

02/06/2025: Back, back, back again at Thindi and this time enjoyed the Thindi Tasting Plate - onion bhaji (my favourite), Punjabi samosas, chicken tikka & seekh kebab with a mint chutney dip. Delicious.

02/06/2025: The portion and quality of food didn’t match the price. Only two frozen chicken in a spice bag, the spice bag is not even a hand size and the spices are more than chips.
