23/08/2025: Anytime I get to visit Dalkey, I head to Pepperlaine for the best cappuccino and tasty treat to fuel me up for the day browsing around this lively village. I’m looking forward to popping in over the Lobster festival for my caffeine fix and the chance to pick up a great locally sourced gift for an upcoming birthday while I’m there.

23/04/2026: Going to bord gas theatre, we dropped in here for a quick bite. The Staff were friendly, courteous and delivered knowing most of their guests at that time were show bound. Will be back.

19/04/2026: Stopped by yesterday before heading to a show in the 3Arena. It was very busy and we had no booking - but luckily got a table within 5 mins outside in the sunshine! The food was amazing! We both had a burger - one Beef and one Turkey! Both were the best we’ve ever had! The French Sauvignon Blanc was very nice too!! Service was great, served by the lovely Jonathan! It was our first visit but we will be back ! 10/10

14/04/2026: Rang the Manhattan raheny earlier today, asked about booking an event , the fella on the phone was lovely , he went through the amount of people, platters, price etc. When he asked what type of occasion it was I.e birthday party? I said baby shower and he mentioned we don’t allow them. I’m confused because I could have rang up and said a birthday party there is no difference? Same amount of people and platters ? The fella on the phone asked his assistant manager and they said no there’s certain events we can’t host. He also said I can call back and speak to the manager tomorrow ? To save the hassle I booked the cock and bull coolock instead.

05/04/2026: Our stay at the InterContinental was perfect. The rooms were beautiful and in pristine condition and the hotel itself was gorgeous. We were blown away by the service especially. The location is also great, easy access to bus lines and a short walk to the center of Ballsbridge, and a short bus ride or taxi to Dublin City center.

01/08/2025: Off the beaten tourist path, little cafe. Workers are beyond friendly. Place is filled with locals (good sign) and wondering tourists. Solid scone and coffee for me. My son’s breakfast sandwich was solid as well. Compared to the crazy prices around the area, this was a 5 star stop for a no frills friendly breakfast. If you’re expecting something really fancy, this ain’t the place for you.

15/03/2026: Great restaurant. Tucked away at the end of an alley, the restaurant doesn't look like much... but don't judge a book by its cover. A top-notch restaurant from the welcome to the dessert. It's not only acceptable, but even encouraged, to bring your own bottle of wine or beer, as the establishment doesn't have a license to sell alcohol. Enjoy your meal!

28/04/2026: We were looking for somewhere to eat before arriving at the airport, where there's nothing decent to eat. This place was a total find! The food was very good with a great variety, dozens of types of beer and pasta to choose from, fast service, and the place was very nicely decorated. Highly recommended on the way to the airport.

26/04/2026: Had the wings and roast beef. Honestly such good quality and plenty of food. Staff are so friendly and atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Music isn’t bad either 😉

31/03/2026: I booked this place for 2 nights as a last minute change in plans. Check in was easy. Staff were very nice. location is perfect. The bar/restaurant is great. Room was nice cozy and not noisy. Would stay again.
