The best restaurants in Dublin

24/11/2024: Nice place .. food is always good here

20/11/2024: A really solid option for breakfast in this nicely laid out and spacious feeling Cafe near The National Stadium. A nice blend of small and big tables so suits couples or mid sized groups. Menu options for my tastes just ok. Fish Taco which I ordered tasted good but was different and cumbersome to eat. Depending on the time and day you go there you should be able to find parking nearby. Would go back to try more options in future

02/12/2024: Just went for the gelato as I saw a video online about it. Was really nice, we tried the hazelnut, vanilla and chocolate. Vanilla was the best, hazelnut second. Staff was really nice and gave us some information on the flavours I'd suggest maybe playing some music or a radio as when we went in was very quiet

26/11/2024: Had cod and chips here while on an overnight connection in Dublin. Very satisfying on a cold night, and not too oily. Chips were flavorful enough, that I (an American) ate the full small serving without craving any ketchup Operator was a very handsome and muscular man, that looked like Italian national football star Gigi Buffon

15/12/2024: Writing this review is a bit hard because the dinner left me with mixed feelings. The overall meal was ok. Mildly enjoyable. Each course though has something off. On one case "very off". The chicken tempura tasted a bit funny. I initially assumed they had used some special seasoning. In retrospective I question how fresh it was. To be tasty my ramen required abundant addition of soy sauce even if I went for a pretty rich variant of ramen, full of meat. The dessert was not enjoyable. And at a certain point it has some weirdly flavored parts, like a very spicy hot couple of bites. A shame because the personnel was nice and the place looked inviting.

15/12/2024: Reserved table for 7.30 arrived at 7, no problem but awkwardly were told to leave at 8PM. The food is normal, nothing special. At 8 PM the staff came with the bill and asked to pay without asking if we wanted desert or not. Completely rude. I thought that there were people waiting. But no, there were empty tables and no one waiting for a table. Totally disrespectful. A place not to come again, there are plenty of other sushi option in Dublin. Stay away from this one!

08/12/2024: Very bland food , the cheapest ingredients used I'd imagine for the lack of taste, we shared a number of different dishes, probably only 1 was "good",the rest tasteless, the service though was great and very friendly. But food I wouldn't waste my money , extremely overrated restaurant.

19/12/2024: Super interesting bar to visit, the place has different areas, some on the ground floor and others higher up, they have A patio. They promote the use of board games, the service is very good, there are very well-made drinks and the atmosphere is excellent, without a doubt you will spend an incredible night with whoever visits the place.

18/12/2024: A great atmospheric pub. The best pizza I've had in Ireland. I tasted several over the course of a few days - they were all great!!! I highly recommend it. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

07/12/2024: What a half hearted place. Nothing is nice here. Lacks atmosphere. I cannot believe that people bring their dogs and think it's OK to have them sit on thr seats. I was horrified. A rainy day too so dogs w muddy paws were sitting where people sit in their nice clothes. Also their bottoms all over the seats. I said to my friend it would be similar to us sitting on the seats w our bare backsides. But in truth, if u saw someone sitting naked arsed on a chair...would you sit on it after!

14/11/2024: Decent pub and perfect for an event in Vicar street

03/11/2024: Great atmosphere pity about the staff, left standing at the bar for nearly half hour to get served(which i can accept it was very busy)but to be told after standing there that long and being ignored a staff member finally came over to me and said that the part of the bar i was standing was only for getting food only i wont be getting served a drink even though other people were served drinks there before me . Absolutely ridiculous if its food only Ive no problem with that but don’t leave me standing there that long like an idiot and pick and choose who you want to serve drinks, always go in before and after a gig in vicar street safe to say i wont be back. A month since email been sent and still haven’t bothered to reply…….shocking Emails been sent on 1st of march aidan and you still haven’t bothered to reply to it to resolve situation Over 5 months now

06/12/2024: Stopped here before a midweek show in the National Concert Hall and it was absolutely packed. The atmosphere was really nice however due to the venue being soo busy food was not being served. Prices are very expensive with 2 pints costing over €14 (0% Heineken & Guinness).

01/12/2024: During my recent solo trip, I stopped at this pub in Dublin, I was warmly welcomed by the bartenders who instantly made me feel at home. I mentioned it was my first time trying Guinness, and they engaged in friendly conversation despite the bustling crowd. Their speed and efficiency were impressive; they worked seamlessly to serve everyone while still taking the time to connect with patrons. I also ordered some food, which was fantastic and complemented my drink perfectly. The combination of great service and delicious food made for a memorable evening. I left with not just a taste for Guinness, but also a sense of the pub's vibrant atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend!

01/01/2025: Had a fantastic meal here with Kerrie as our server. I brought my best friend who is over from Australia and hasn’t been home in years. The service that Kerrie provided to us was nothing short of exceptional. She was very attentive, kind and extremely friendly. She made our meal even more perfect. Amazing job, thank you Kerrie!

01/01/2025: We had a lovely server named Kerrie as we dined in milano liffey valley. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more food was amazing and quick with a well trained waitress. I will definitely come back.

18/12/2024: Food is appalling. I asked for salsa and they charge it. I've never tasted as such awful food.
