12/02/2024: They are open late in Kilkee even in the winter. That saved me as everyone else in town has already closed the kitchen around 8pm
Great burger, nice presentation and quality, for a very good price.

16/03/2024: Extremely disappointing. Got our order wrong...two sandwiches! and had to eat one while waiting for the correct order... lunch together was lunch eaten seperately. Went for desert and ordered the WARM Bread and Butter pudding... it was stone cold. I had fond memories of lunch here over the years but won't be back anytime soon.

10/02/2024: Very poor cooking. No taste in anything. Lamb shank tasted like it had been boiled in water for 24 hours. Risotto again tasteless apart from a slight burn taste. Mash cold. Disaster.

30/03/2024: Very appealing from the outside and caught our eye for a place to eat. Staff were friendly and pleasant but unfortunately the food was awful. A doorbell buzzer goes off throughout the restaurant notifying staff when food is ready to go out, really off putting. Fish and chips were good but unfortunately the rest was not. We left most of it. Wanted to love the place but it was disappointing.

02/04/2024: We went for an evening brithday celebration meal with a group of 17. Fionnula the owner was fantastic to deal with in booking the meal and choosing the set menu for the group.
The staff were very friendly, informative and the service was very good. The food was delicious. We had a variety of starters, mains and deserts and all of us left extremely happy. Very relaxed atmosphere and would be happy to recommend the restaurant to anyone. Looking forward to going back.

03/04/2024: Came into this place with my friend, they were advertising two for one chicken wings outside, and I was really really hungry. I am a teenage college student who is a girl, so I guess when I asked the waitress for the two for one wings, she was shocked to see that yes, I did, in fact, want to have both portions for myself. She questioned my eating habits, and fat shamed me.
03/04/2024: Great welcome from all the team. You can find some delicious cocktails and some very much needed food there. Will definitely come 🍹

01/04/2024: We were frequent customers years ago and decided to return . We visited Easter Sunday afternoon and could not have been more shocked . Greeted by a dirty smelly mop at the door . The pub was in darkness. The staff unwelcoming . My family sat down to watch the dublin final ten minutes in a group of guys came in and we were told to move that the English football was going to be on the big screen ( of an Easter Sunday!! ) no patriotism here anyway - We had to move down the back were the game would be shown on the smallest screen with viewing restrictions and poor sound. The pub was ran by kids - no professionalism . There was two vapes at the back of our seats. The pub is filthy. Avoid .
