The Sheridan Bar
08/10/2026: One of the few bars in Ireland that serves BLUE MOON, but unfortunately they don't have any oranges. Unforgivable.

From start to finish just a sh1t experience.
The chicken wings came out cold first, then when I got replacement brought out it was visibly damp chicken just drowned in sauce.
For €18 I would expect much better. An average of €3 per chicken wings that were lacklustre at best. Proper rip off stuff.
The chicken goujons were grand but also fairly chilly. I didn't have to cook them down for my son just to give some perspective.
The floors are also disgusting in here. When my child decided to crawl I noticed the state of it.
Minimum €8 for a pint too. I'd have no problem paying it if the experience was good but again it's just a rip off here, more expensive than Dublin but perched out on the west of Ireland where prices should be lower.
This place lets down the rest of the airport.

16/05/2026: While staying in the area we visited the Irish arms once for lunch and next day for dinner while the food was good the service from one of the barmen was absolutely appauling. Everything was a bother. It was like we shouldn't have came in and God forbid ask for a drink that really was asking too much never encountered a more rude and unwelcoming attitude from a barman .Wish l had spent my money elsewhere.
26/04/2026: We stopped in here on our way back from the Cliffs of Mohrer to get a bite to eat. After two weeks, one in Ireland and one in Amsterdam, this was THE best meal I had!!! I had the roast of the day - turkey and ham - mashed potatoes and veggies with cabbage! My friend had the Guinness stew and said it was great!

26/09/2026: Very disappointed that coffee is only served in plastic cups these days. Otherwise the coffee is decent.
20/09/2026: The workers blatantly ignored me for like 5 minutes while I waited at the counter in front of them whilst they were chatting and very much not under staffed. I had to ask one of them to be served and once I did she was rude. The food however, was great.

13/05/2025: Hands down a beautiful meal. I was there with my family, in total about 22 people. We were well looked after from the moment we arrived, great service to great food and great value.
To be honest I was expecting the bill to be considerably more than what it was. Lovely food, lovely wine 🍷 great sevice.
If you’re in Ennis and you’re hungry for real food check it out.
06/04/2025: Excellent service for a group of 20 .. clam and friendly service nothing an issue. Food was very generous and tasty I would highly recommend.

09/07/2024: Simple and good. Very friendly staff! Watched football on TV with great sound. We had two meals, the burger which was great and the steak sandwich which unfortunately was disappointing to me as the steak was not so good... as it is listed as one of the specialtys of the house that should've done better! But had an overall great evening.

17/10/2025: What a hidden gem! Kate and the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived (past check-in time) to the moment we left. We, unfortunately, had no luggage as it was not put on our flight from Glasgow. Kate went out of her way to make us feel as comfortable as possible given the situation. We had to alter our original plans of hiking (due to lack of clothes/gear) and Kate spent a considerable amount of time giving us suggestions for an alternate plan. We took her recommendations and were able to enjoy many sights and delicious foods and a great ferry trip to our next destination. The breakfast at Wild Honey was Absolutely Divine!! One of the best breakfasts we had over our 13 day trip. Such a great experience and we will be returning! Thank you Kate!
14/08/2025: Literally the worst place on earth. They treat their staff like scum and keep insulting them and dragging them down. They are very unfriendly and inwould not recommend to even visit them

23/07/2025: Tuvimos una gran cena aquí con toda la familia, incluyendo cinco de nuestros nietos.
La sopa de patata y puerro, el guiso irlandés y las costillas de cerdo estaban deliciosos, por no hablar del sundaes de postre. Los niños recibieron coloración en actividades que los mantenían entretenidos. Gran servicio, amable.
18/07/2025: Fuimos el viernes para el almuerzo y tenía un servidor muy encantador llamado Aoife. Ella era muy agradable y atento, aunque estaba muy ocupado y ella estaba sola. Ella es un crédito para el bar.
