09/09/2024: Now here is a pub full of the Irish Craic. Fantastic bar staff full of laughing and joking. You are definitely made to feel welcome. The food well bring your appetite as it’s good wholesome and plentiful. So if you’re in near or just passing by make time for this place you will not be disappointed.

01/10/2024: I stayed for 2 nights with my cousin in early September. Brian and Cora were perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The atmosphere in the bar was very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely. Looking forward to a return visit next year.

28/09/2024: La carta es bastante reducida. No hay mucha variedad, pero el fish & copa y el pollo al curry, están muy buenos. Precios no muy baratos, pero acordes a la calidad. Buena variedad de cervezas y wiskies locales. Es un. Un lugar si estás en Quilty y no querés moverte mucho

02/11/2024: Just popped in for a coffee. Laid back atmosphere and decor.

30/10/2024: We went for brunch, Great value, really nice menu. Did half portions for the kids. Waitresses were really good, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

03/11/2024: From the initial booking to the moment we left, the service here was top drawer. The staff in every position were brilliant, the room spotless and the food perfect. Location is excellent too.

23/10/2024: Nice Hotel in the centre of Ennis, The room was good only the central heating was on too high and i couldn't find a way to turn it down. There was good security to get to the rooms and the maid was very friendly. The public areas were beautiful, a nice bar and restaurant. We enjoyed a nice breakfast again the service was friendly. As an upgrade management may want to consider a Nespresso machine in the rooms with complimentary capsules which most Hotels of this calibre see to provide these days.

09/07/2024: Simple and good. Very friendly staff! Watched football on TV with great sound. We had two meals, the burger which was great and the steak sandwich which unfortunately was disappointing to me as the steak was not so good... as it is listed as one of the specialtys of the house that should've done better! But had an overall great evening.

16/09/2024: Came for dinner with my mother. I ordered the "squid ring" starter. Which was €12.75. When it arrived, there were three tiny squid rings, like skinny little shoelaces, and 2 tiny shrimp, in a bed of tomato sauce. My mother is a coeliac, and ordered the mussels starter with gluten free bread. The mussels were a big portion and tasty, but the gluten free bread was rock hard and not edible. I made a complaint about both to our server as she cleared our plates, and she sent over the manager. I was told that no-one ever complains about the bread, they make it on site, and when I said the tiny portion of three tiny calamari, was a bit ridiculous for the price, I was told, well, there were "prawns" too. Manager basically shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I wish I had of taken a picture of the 3"calamari" and 2 "shrimp" as it was actually embarrassingly tiny. Wouldn't recommend , both for portion size, and customer service

26/07/2024: Stayed at Sheedy's two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were big, nice, and well-appointed and the location is beautiful. What made our stay even nicer, however, was the exceptional staff and the amazing food. Everyone we met was very friendly and professional. We were with a large group and we all agreed that everything we ate was fantastic. I want to go back just for the potatoes alone. :)

03/10/2024: Went in recently on lunch break just for a bowl of soup. I waited 20 mins and still no sign of the soup 😕 I just told them I couldn't wait any longer.

05/11/2024: Lovely 3 course dinner. Chips were so fresh and the apple and strawberry pie so nice not to mention the pancake 😋. Would come again
