11/06/2026: What a great place!! We spent a couple of days here. Everyone from the start were so friendly, casual, cool, yet efficient and on it! Great food, great service and a great pint of Guinness. Off street parking at the back, accessed down the left side of the building and room for maybe 9 or 10 cars. Shauna and team were a delight! We'll see you guys again!! Five stars all day long ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

11/06/2026: Stayed here for 2 nights and couldnt be happier with picking this place. We were debating between a few options and am so glad we went with this B&B. The town is just large enough to have a bit of anything you are looking for, but small enough that it has quite the charm, is easy to walk to every store, and is quiet in the nights. The B&B room was fantastic with a very comfy bed and the rooms also came with complementary water bottles. Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning. Shauna was very personable and gave us tips for our adventures including which way to drive to experience other activities and what to do to make the most of our want-to-do list. The only challenge was the parking lot, which is immediately to the left to the lodge. It's very small with one way in and out, and it's difficult to see incoming traffic when leaving. However despite this all, we didn't run into any problems. Sheena also offered that if we ever came back and didn't see any spots to let her know and she would move her car, as well as offered an alternative nearby option to park our car. Thrilled with our entire experience here.

27/08/2026: The village behind the castle is very beautiful, offering a full immersion into the life of the inhabitants of that era. The castle itself is very interesting. The well-maintained outdoor spaces are child-friendly, with games and animals to see, including deer.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere hummed with quiet elegance, the kind that doesn’t need to announce itself. Then came the venison, and truly, it deserves its own standing ovation. Presented with theatrical grace, it stood poised like a bride beneath a chuppah, a culinary ceremony in full swing. Each bite was rich, tender, and deeply expressive of the land, as though the surrounding hills had whispered their secrets directly into the dish. The asparagus risotto followed, glowing with freshness. It arrived adorned with a delicate bouquet of edible flowers, like spring had decided to dress up for dinner. The flavors were vibrant yet comforting, a perfect balance of earthiness and brightness, each forkful unfolding like a small celebration. Service throughout the evening was flawless. Not stiff or overly formal, but warm, intuitive, and genuinely joyful. The kind of service that anticipates your needs before you even realize them yourself. And then, just when we thought the evening had reached its peak, it offered us one more unforgettable moment. When we asked about arranging a taxi, the owner himself came over, introduced himself with effortless charm, and insisted on driving us. Not just anywhere, but to catch the Irish sunset melting into the Atlantic beside the Cliffs of Moher. It felt like being handed the final, perfect note of a symphony. Some restaurants serve great food. This one creates memories that linger long after the plates are cleared.

21/06/2026: The food is very good, The service is perfect and masterful and the setting lovely too! Anything the blond and my fussy brats wanted was no trouble and for the first time, my kids talked about the food on our table, (we all sampled each others) rather than burying their heads in their phones as usual!

15/05/2026: I believe that a great meal revolves around the people you are with, the service provided by the staff, and finally the food. In this case all three came together. The salmon starter was hot and well prepared. My rack of lamb was tender with a nice au jus. The service was just right, there when needed and allowing us to enjoy our meal. Not an everyday meal or inexpensive but really well done and if I am back in this area I will do it again.

15/08/2026: What a gem of a find. The food is just fantastic. We ate here two nights, between us we sampled the hake, peppered chicken, lamb cutlets, steak and cod..the portions are huge and you get two sides with your main. The young staff are so friendly and engaging and a shout out to the main man, he's witty and accommodating. Reasonably priced, our spend on night one including starter, main course, dessert and 2 rounds of drinks was e50 a head. Thank you. We hope to see you again.

12/08/2026: The staff were incredibly unpleasant. The food was defrosted. The bar patrons didn't hesitate to fart on us. The various waiters, thinking we didn't understand a word of English, openly mocked us simply because we're French.

03/08/2026: We had dinner there this evening on a random staycation, i just saw someone else say the food is Michelin star worthy and id have to agree, the flavours, the presentation, the service is five star. We would come back to eat in the restaurant alone, absaliutely fabulous!! What a gem

03/06/2026: This was the last place we stayed on our trip and they were accommodating. It was a ice place and we even had air conditioning. I wish we could have enjoyed it and the surrounding area a bit more than we had the chance to

18/08/2026: Asked for table for one told no as I left a couple came in asked for a table for two they said yes just wait at the bar.
