30/06/2025: Lovely staff!! Definitely recommend bringing your dog to the outdoor patio area. My dog Luna was immediately served with a tasty treat by a staff member and given a bowl of water on a hot day 😁 Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful memory and delicious food. All very reasonably priced (Everything on the menu was between €10- 17) and great portions 😋

Not just for the great pints and live music, but for the absolute legend that is Yuri – hands down the best waiter around. 30/06/2025: What a beautiful and relaxing place with very kind staff. Great facilities, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room. Restaurant with tasty food served for dinner and delicious breakfast. Stressless experience. Would come back again. Highly recommended.

17/06/2025: The food in the pub was delicious. The room was a decent size, but the shower could have a bit more water. Don't expect much from the breakfast! Plus, breakfast isn't served until 9:00 a.m.

12/05/2025: Absolutely smashing time for three British pensioners (1 Welsh, 1 Scot and a crossbreed English/scot. Lunch and then dinner. Food grand, service grander. Recommended highly.

15/05/2025: We recently celebrated our son's christening day at JP Clarkes. We had a mix of adults and both children and babies for the meal. A set menu with plenty of choice and within our budget was provided to us. Absolutely everyone was catered for and the food as well as the staff were fantastic.

20/07/2025: I"d skip this place. We (6) were famished but didn't have dinner reservations and they (unfriendly) offered to seat us separately. The tables were literally next to eachother. Then acted as if we weren't together when ordering, bill, drinks, etc. 4 of 6 meals tasted good. Lasagna was not hot through middle, request on order not fulfilled, pasta sauce tated like Chef Boyardee. Two of our party ordered a pizza and a salad and were charged a 5 Euro split plate fee without forewarning. I understand this when only 1 item is ordered but seriously? This was 2 people ordering 2 items...just a money grab... Server never came back to see how things were. We asked another employee for water and this seemed to be inconvenient for him. When time to pay I offered card and was told "go to the bar, my machine cord isn't long enough to reach this table". Pass.

15/07/2025: Excellent place. We had fantastic seafood chowder, which we haven't found anywhere else since—at least not as good. The oysters were lovely, large, and delicious. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the vegetables, which were frozen and inedible.

13/07/2025: I got rotten hake here yesterday. When mentioned to the staff an older lady appeared at our table, aggressively stating that the fish there is caught daily. Not a nice experience.

21/05/2025: Friendly and central hotel in Lahinch with great value for money. The staff organised overnight storage for my bike, even carrying it in and out! Room was perfect and excellent breakfast with full Irish options, including vegetarian version. Lots of options nearby for food and the beautiful beach to enjoy the sunset!

21/07/2025: This little guesthouse is seriously gorgeous and the owner, Kate, is an absolute delight. She was full of great local recommendations and made my favorite breakfast I had on that trip. I would go back to Lisdoonvarna just to stay here. Honestly, I wish I could hire Kate to decorate my home, too - this place is so charming.

19/07/2025: It was mediocre at best. Yes it is a quaint Inn. However, there is nothing 4 star about this location. I’d rate it a solid 2-3 stars. It was really more of a B&B rather than a 4 star Inn. We will be returning to the area but not this Inn.

17/05/2025: On May 17, we stopped here shortly after 1 p.m. during an e-bike tour from Liscannor to Doolin. Surprisingly, a lunch menu was already available at that time, in addition to the usual lunch offerings. We ate a delicious vegetable soup and the roast of the day, consisting of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, savoy cabbage, peas, carrots, and gravy. We highly recommend this dish. The pub itself is typically Irish and very cozy, and the owner is warm and hospitable. We cannot comment on the rooms available for rent.
