24/03/2026: We stayed at Dromoland and ate at the Fig Tree. The menu choices were great. Much more casual than in the hotel which we preferred. The staff was friendly & attentive. The food was very good.

24/04/2026: Caesar salad was not worth the price. Seafood chowder was good. Cash only when we were there for lunch, their machine was broken - wish they had told us before we sat, never a good surprise.

22/01/2026: I probably should have gone back in to query the price but my €7.99 Panini and the three items pictured came to €21.23,so my bag of crisps, lemon soda and carton of water came to €13.24. Hopefully a mistake and not the usual rip off we are so good at in this country. Panini was spot on though. Rest of the fare looks good.

11/04/2026: Room were nice and cosy,hot water took some time to come, Rooms have no sound proofing, breakfast was sad and really uneatable, nobody ever answered phone at reception, Reception staff can be over worked, tried / grumpy.

27/03/2026: We had food here.It was very nice.The house Chardonnay was poor and the man who seemed to be in charge was really smarmy so much so I jokingly asked him was he a Kerry man looking for business.But as I said I enjoyed the food….we didnt go back today.Returned to Lahinch a couple of months ago.The food here was top class.Big plates of perfectly cooked food.Exactly what you need after long walks.We will be back soon and will eat here everyday

24/05/2026: Room 29 is not suitable for guests. There was a heavy, stuffy smell in the room. Fortunately, the window could be opened to air it out. Unfortunately: the kitchen ventilation exhaust was located right in front of the window. Besides the smell of frying, it made quite a lot of noise. We asked for another room, but were assured that the kitchen would close at 8:00 PM and wouldn't reopen until 8:00 AM the next morning. Well, in practice, that was 9:45 PM and 6:30 AM (!). But even when the ventilation was off, things weren't right: the small terrace where guests or staff could smoke a cigarette or make a phone call was directly under our window. And unfortunately, this was done regularly at night as well. In short: refuse room 29. The hotel management really needs to do something about this; such an unsuitable room detracts from the entire stay. It is a real shame, because the location is good, the people are nice, and the breakfast is good.

12/05/2026: I would gladly give the food stars. My room was still awaiting renovation, but it was clean and we lacked nothing. A charming hotel, just as you'd expect in Ireland. Super friendly staff.

02/09/2025: Had a pint in here and there was a group of men and women playing instruments sitting in the corner. Excellent atmosphere.

10/11/2025: I've stayed here several times and it's always been an absolute pleasure, from the moment you walk in the door. Friendly staff, good food and a fantastic location, so close to the beach.

16/05/2026: While staying in the area we visited the Irish arms once for lunch and next day for dinner while the food was good the service from one of the barmen was absolutely appauling. Everything was a bother. It was like we shouldn't have came in and God forbid ask for a drink that really was asking too much never encountered a more rude and unwelcoming attitude from a barman .Wish l had spent my money elsewhere.

26/04/2026: We stopped in here on our way back from the Cliffs of Mohrer to get a bite to eat. After two weeks, one in Ireland and one in Amsterdam, this was THE best meal I had!!! I had the roast of the day - turkey and ham - mashed potatoes and veggies with cabbage! My friend had the Guinness stew and said it was great!

05/05/2026: Historic building. Great location, to walk the streets and discover fun shops, restaurants, and pubs. Fantastic service! Decor is a bit sad and old.

11/05/2026: The food was okay, but nothing special. However, our service experience was abysmal. Initially, everything was fine, and we received a friendly welcome. But the atmosphere suddenly changed when it was realized we were tourists. We weren't given a drinks menu and initially thought it was a mistake. When we asked for one, they practically threw it at us, but we didn't receive any drinks, nor were we even asked if we wanted them. Only after we asked again was our drink order taken, and then with a rude expression. The food was also served rudely. I usually give generous tips, but this was the first restaurant where I didn't leave one.

19/04/2026: I was having some typical airport struggles that were getting frustrating and the staff there took a moment to be especially kind to me when they really didn't have to. It's not something you typically experience in airports, so I just hope that the management acknowledges their kind-hearted staff who clearly goes the extra mile for customer service.

14/04/2026: As always excellent food & wine here. I recommend getting a bite to eat here before heading off on your flight. All the staff are friendly and helpful, but our waiter Killian is exceptionally good & efficient.
