04/04/2025: Now here is a pub full of the Irish Craic. Fantastic bar staff full of laughing and joking. You are definitely made to feel welcome.
The food well bring your appetite as it’s good wholesome and plentiful.
So if you’re in near or just passing by make time for this place you will not be disappointed.

25/05/2025: Stayed here for one night while visiting Ennis and County Clare on a larger trip across the country. The room was very spacious and had a great view of the adjacent golf course. The continental breakfast was also amazing! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return when visiting Ennis.

Waited 35 mins to get served a drink. Asked for water 4 times before we got it. Restaurant wasn’t busy so there was no excuse for poor service. The girls serving were young but got no guidance from manager.

Lunch and then dinner. Food grand, service grander. Recommended highly.
18/03/2025: Didn't stop over this time juzt a meal and a drink. But even at the end of February there was plenty of choice on the menu. Quick service and had we been earlier in the morning the full breakfast ( others had ordered ) looked great and I'd be happy to eat. But it was a bowl of soup with soda bread lunch meal of choice. Filing and tasty

17/05/2025: I am so disappointed because I was looking for food on the 17 of May it was two entrances so I was waiting to be seated and there was about five waiters that were free and none of them acknowledged my existence and other Irish came in with a child. They serviced them wash the guy taking them to the table. Give them the money order and literally just passed part of this is the worst customer service ever you guys need to get your shit together🚮🚮🚮

15/05/2025: We recently celebrated our son's christening day at JP Clarkes. We had a mix of adults and both children and babies for the meal. A set menu with plenty of choice and within our budget was provided to us. Absolutely everyone was catered for and the food as well as the staff were fantastic.

27/05/2025: Pros: people were nice, restaurant was decent and they had live music on occasion; beds were comfy and rooms were clean.
Cons: This is a much older hotel than the pictures convey—stained and worn carpets, cracks in the bathroom tiles/grout, and the walls are thin — we could hear our neighbors urinate regularly. Be aware that Balleyvaughan is in the middle of nowhere with very little public transport available. But there are some good restaurants: Monks and The Soda Shop in particular.

21/05/2025: Friendly and central hotel in Lahinch with great value for money. The staff organised overnight storage for my bike, even carrying it in and out! Room was perfect and excellent breakfast with full Irish options, including vegetarian version. Lots of options nearby for food and the beautiful beach to enjoy the sunset!
03/05/2025: Wouldn't put on the leinster match may bank Holiday. Told is to go back to wicklow

Before the current owners got here, they had fresh veg, mash, cabbages, carrot and swede etc. Always great.
Now they have unseasoned frozen veg that is barely edible.
We understand that inflation exists but vegetables? Really?
12/03/2025: tried to order food online they took the money from my card without placing the order so I had to order and pay a second time over the phone absolute disgrace if your not going to take orders through your website then don't take the customers money!!

18/05/2025: A cozy little restaurant on the beautiful beach of Lahinch, run in a sober and professional manner. Very close to the famous Cliffs of Moher, it offers a decent choice of dishes and good pizzas. An excellent discovery.
17/05/2025: Despite its impressive 4.5 rating from last year, or so, this restaurant no longer lives up to the hype. The atmosphere felt off, with an oddly empty dining area that lacked warmth or energy. We waited nearly 50 minutes for three pizzas, only to be served something distinctly underwhelming—bland, poorly made, and far from what the rating promised. A disappointing experience that suggests the quality has slipped considerably since the great reviews were written or pictures have taken.
