19/10/2025: Barman at door nearly pounced on my partner for having an m&s bag with her. More committed to one side of the bar than the other I'd say 🍻. Turned around and left.
16/10/2025: Lovely traditional spot in Cork City! The chowder is one of the best I have ever had. A bit chunky but lovely!
Unfortunately those from anti-immigrant/ gay, etc... groups seem to be targeting the bar negatively!

10/09/2025: First Irish breakfast in Ireland! I got the godfather and it was perfectly portioned, comes with tea, and I just love how thick the hash browns are here.
This restaurant is bustling with locals and very busy. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, but outdoor is much more limited.

31/08/2025: Delicious and filling meal! We started off arriving 30 mins late after a problem with our car, but staff were very accommodating. Settled in to the tasting menu and everything was gorgeous and perfectly cooked. They adjusted nicely when one guest had intolerance to cream. Was expecting to leave hungry after some reviews but was completely full at the end - particularly after the focacia and almond cake. Fish course was particular highlight, lamb dish slightly salty for my taste. Overall would highly recommend - specifically to have tasting menu as dont think would be as worthwhile to have a la carte.

05/10/2025: Lovely spot. Service excellent - really appreciated front of house squeezing us in on a busy Sunday without a booking. Food is excellent, really recommend the cauliflower bravas.
01/10/2025: Such a great experience last night. I brought my fiancé here for her birthday. Honestly, the nicest food I’ve had all year. Both dinners and desserts were an experience.
Not only that but the staff were incredibly friendly and a really relaxed atmosphere, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the surroundings. 10/10, I can’t wait to come back for my birthday.

20/10/2025: Staying over night in a nearby hotel and popped in for dinner. Mary our server was tremendous, she made us feel welcome which made the experience that much better. The food was also very good. Would definitely recommend!

26/09/2025: I booked in a massive gang of us for a pre wedding celebration and was just so impressed with the food and the service and the atmosphere and really every aspect of the night. One of our guests has missed their train and was running late which was no bother to the attentive staff who served him as soon as he arrived. They also looked after the one child in attendance. Really, everything kind of went perfectly and I would highly highly recommend this spot for parties or nights out or anything in between.
21/09/2025: Honestly, we're used to Angus or Wagyu T-bones, but we were disappointed with their T-bones.... hard to cut, to the point of having to use a second knife... cooked well, but not worth the price of 45 euros....
The salmon was good, as was the dessert and the cocktails.
The coffee was too acidic for my taste.
It's rare to be disappointed....

23/10/2025: This is a wonderful restaurant in downtown Cork that I visited on a local's recommendation. The unique interior, with its high ceilings, was immediately impressive upon entering. Both the shrimp appetizer and the steak entree were delicious.
14/10/2025: We had our wedding reception for 120 people in Jacob’s on the Mall, and from our first meeting with Katie to walking out the door when the wedding day was finished, we experienced nothing but stellar service. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the food was incredible and we had a truly unforgettable day. We wouldn’t change a thing. The staff were exceptional and all our guests have been raving about how great a day it was. Seamless from beginning to end. We can’t thank you enough!
