13/04/2025: Comimos en el bar y nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. Thomas hizo martinis perfectos y nos proporcionó una excelente recomendación de champán (así como conversación divertida y lo que resultó ser lugar en las recomendaciones para bares de vinos y restaurantes para probar en nuestro viaje a Kinsale. ) Echa un vistazo a nuestras fotos de nuestras opciones de menú y definitivamente comerás con los ojos. Todos los platos eran brillantes y ligeros con perfiles de sabor que funcionaban tan bien. Siempre pido pescado de monje cuando está en el menú y el pescado se asó perfectamente y reafirmó por qué el pescado de monje se considera la langosta del pobre. Una parada obligada para comida digna de Michelin sin ninguna pretensión.

08/04/2025: Tuvimos un tiempo increíble; la comida era excepcional, era fresca, emocionante y la atención al detalle nos sorprendió a todos. Ningún plato fue menos impresionante que el anterior. El pez monje, el cordero, los espárragos todos cantados del plato. El maridaje de vinos con cada plato fue cuidadoso y complementó incluso los sabores más delicados. Una experiencia excepcional fue mejorada por el enfoque, entusiasmo y experiencia del personal del vino y la cocina. Recomiendo encarecidamente y espero volver pronto!

17/03/2025: One of the Best Cafe we have tried. The atmosphere is soo relaxing. There are outside tables available, an indoor area overlooking the castle and there is another indoor area which i think is suitable for an intimate date and group coffee date. Kidding aside, the food is delicious 5/5, the coffee is definitely one of the best and the staff is soo approachable and lovely. They really prioritize the satisfaction of there customers. Highly recommended Cafe in Cork. They also have coloring materials for kids so they will be entertain and not to get bored👍🏻

18/04/2025: Fabuloso desayuno! Increíble gama de opciones, por un precio razonable. El servicio era rápido, la comida estaba caliente y sabrosa. Ojalá hubiéramos encontrado Tony's antes que el día pasado.

10/04/2025: Was in a rush last day in cork it was an amazing menu I struggled to eat number 3 on the menu and just recapping on my visit I did not realize there was moor to the menu the service was very professional the food was well presented the quality of the food was fresh and taste full it has a very high hygiene quality and I will make time to visit again and again on my next cork trips plus the atmosphere from staff and other customers was very welcoming and it was also roomy

20/04/2025: Very nice food. Service was good. We had 3 course meal with drinks we were just finishing desert when beverly the host came and said we had 10 minutes to get off the table the table is reserved. We took no more notice as we had our coffees ordered knowing we would be finished in bout 10 mind anyway. She returned in less the 5 minutes that we need to vacate the table we said we will finish our coffees and leave then she said that we're were 2hrs there and there is a 2 HR limit on the table. We said we are had a 3 course meal with drinks and never heard there was a 2 HR limit and there were no signs up. She was giving out to other staff about our table and that we wouldnt leave the table. We were leaving shortly anyway. We felt she was very rude and shortly after the conversation she dropped our check to the table. There were tables around us free and didn't see what rush was. It was a shame to leave this review as the food and service was good. Our bill was over €150 we felt we did not deserve this.

The rustic-chic decor, warm lighting, and friendly staff made it feel like a home away from home. We started with dinner—the gastropub menu blew us away. The *Roasted Lamb* was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Don’t skip the craft beer selection (the *Guiness* is a must!). Already planning our next visit—this place is a treasure! 🎶🍔🍻

13/04/2025: Hayfield Manor was a phenomenal choice for our wedding. They absolutely exceeded all of my very high expectations. The staff were very friendly, eager to help, the food tasted amazing, the decor and cleanliness of the hotel are unparalleled. They made every effort to make our entire stay at Hayfield Manor wonderful. Jolisha, the wedding planner, nailed every detail that I asked for. John, the manager, went above and beyond in making our entire family feel welcome. I could not recommend Hayfield enough and I will never forget the level of service we received. Thank you to all the staff! From the gentlemen at the door, the servers in the fine dining room, and all the others- you are fantastic. Thank you for a joyful wedding!

20/04/2025: We were celebrating my mother in laws 91st birthday beautiful table and sitting put the service and food delays let it all down . Some of us had finished our starters and mains when the others got there's. Now they did through in a free bottle of wine . Put really a manger should have checked in with us at times to see was everything OK. No boby did . Also we had to ask for candle on dessert .. When we arrived they had justed opened..

03/05/2025: Absolutely divine! We were seated at the bar as it was quite busy for a Saturday night at 8pm but it was lovely. Very lovely and the food was 10/10. I had the soup of the day and hubby had the chicken and mash. Both of us wiped the plates clean. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend!

27/04/2025: Isaac's is an iconic restaurant in the Victorian Quarter of Cork city. We went there for dinner. The ambience and setting is more adult oriented than other restaurants on Maccurtian street. We did notice that there were families. The team was amazing. They are quietly present while being unobtrusive. The space itself is gorgeous. We had a romantic evening and relaxed. There were people celebrating birthdays and other occasions. They have cocktails and spirits available. They have a lovely selection of beers and wines available for those special occasions. The toilets are wheelchair accessible. The space itself is wheelchair accessible.

19/04/2025: Amazing restaurant, the world changed and the restaurants like Isaac’s just adapted so well, when the example from the top is good or very good the person in command in restaurant just let flow the business as normal and all the workers go with the flow. Congratulations for amazing work.

27/04/2025: Muy promedio teniendo en cuenta los precios. 12€ por 2 botellas de agua tranquila absolutamente ridículo cuando pensamos que estábamos recibiendo agua del grifo. Plato de ternera lleno de grasa sin patata y 7 € por porción de puré! No volveré

21/04/2025: Started off with a lovely tuna ceviche with roasted pimento pepper and a crisp caper dressing which was absolutely sensational. Can’t go wrong with a ceviche! Followed by a perfectly cooked fillet steak with lobster mac and cheese and mash which was to die for! The star of the show for me was the Balsamictini cocktail - vodka, balsamic reduction, fresh basil, and strawberry. ‘Bold, refreshing, and a little unexpected.’ As described by the restaurant and they weren’t wrong! I could legit drink balsamic vinegar so this has to be one of my favourite cocktails of all time. Probably one of the best, if not the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. Definitely coming back!!

13/04/2025: I used to drink here many years ago, back then it was just as busy as it is today ,with one difference. Back then the place was spotless. polished bar top surgically clean toilets and carpet throughout you could eat off. Today the carpets are filthy ,the toilets disgusting smelling of stale pee.. the whole place is shabby and run down.. What a shame...

06/04/2025: Good local bar to go meet friends, watch a match or go for some food. The front bar offers a cosy local bar feel, where you will be greeted by friendly staff and good beer. Nice size tv's fill the bar.

12/04/2025: No faltan buenos restaurantes en Cork, pero este es una pequeña joya. Elegí un entrante de hinojo asado y entrante de naranja sangre. La combinación de sabores fue exquisita. Mi plato fuerte eran las vieiras abrasadas. Era una porción muy generosa de vieiras jugosas junto con rosti y verduras variadas y era excelente. Siguiendo el consejo de la camarera opté por una pequeña jarra de un Riesling que realmente complementaba ambos platos. Todo esto llegó a 60€ antes de la propina, que me pareció un valor razonable para la cocina creativa en este nivel.

01/04/2025: No es mi primera vez aquí y sin duda no será la última ... cuando entramos por la puerta nos recibió un miembro del personal muy amable que más tarde descubrí su nombre era Alison. Nos mostraron a una mesa encantadora por la ventana delantera. Ambos fuimos por carne de res y cordero, ambos eran preciosos. Fuimos de postre de tarta de limón (omg. . . devine) y tarta de queso más amable. . . que era encantador también, pero la tarta de limón era súper. Alison era muy amable y eficiente en su trabajo.

18/04/2025: We made a reservation today and the waiter was able to move us into a cozy little booth by the front window. I ordered the seafood chowder as an appetizer and the grilled sea bass with seafood risotto at the same time. I was nervous about them coming out at the same time but they didn’t. About 10 minutes after I finished my appetizer the main course came out. Both were really hot and tasted amazing. Service was great and the food was also VERY good. Whoever made that seafood chowder isn’t paid enough money! Thanks again!

13/04/2025: Had a wonderful Sunday lunch with my wife here in Quinlans Seafood Restaurant Cork City today.The food is delicious and the staff are great. Well done to all 👍
