29/11/2024: this review as everybody should watch out I visited this restaurant with my family. And the food was completely appalling. The staff was very rude. We were waiting over 20 minutes for our drinks the manager was completely an utterly rude the food was like it was ready for 20 minutes before before giving it out my daughter dropped a fork on the floor and asked for a new one and the manager was completely rude it was an accident. And I can’t describe in words how rude he was. The owner was completely appalling Michael Collins. I would advise nobody to visit this restaurant.

10/12/2024: They served classic Irish Food which tastes really good. Highly recommended their Guinness which very smooth and creamy. Reasonable price and portion, value for money. Friendly crews. Nice dining ambiance.

15/12/2024: Excellent Venue for Christmas Party Night, this our 3rd year in a row going back to the Locke Bar because the staff are so friendly and helpful they make the whole experience exceptional. The food is fantastic, the music and atmosphere are brilliant. We will be back again next year without a doubt.

08/12/2024: Nice rooms, nice location, nice service. They were very busy during our stay. The restaurant was overbooked when we went to dinner (included in the rate). They did a great job setting up a table in the bar area and took wonderful care of us. Can't ask for more.

07/11/2024: It was our first time in Freddy’s, and I have to say it won’t our last. From the minute we entered we were made feel welcome. Food was exceptional quality, everything was so fresh, tasty and presented beautifully. Service was amazing, staff were attentive and friendly. Keep up the fantastic work you all do. My only fault is, that I didn’t try it years ago.

14/12/2024: Fabulous meal in the bar on one of Bulgaden's busiest Christmas party nights. They had 180 in the function room. Cudos to the chef and kitchen team, the barman and the waiting staff. Great value and excellent food.

25/10/2024: We had a great visit here, the food was delicious, and a nice conversation in Irish with a waiter.
It's great to have Irish language available in our day to day life!

28/10/2024: The setting is really nice, service good, starter (scotch egg) delicious, dessert delicious,but €42 for a steak no better than one I'd pick up in lidl is an absolute scam. Its on me for not trusting my usual instinct which is to not get steak out (especially when it comes covered in pepper sauce - good steak shouldnt need it) but the place has a good reputation so I expected great things, especially at that price. It wasnt bad, a bit overdone but it was ok, but it felt like charging that is taking advantage of their good reputation. Spoiled a nice experience otherwise
