08/05/2026: This restaurant really stands out in limerick, probably one of the best dining experiences in the city and beyond. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by very polite friendly and smiling staff. It’s quite difficult to choose from the menu because all the dishes sound amazing. Finally when we decided we had some delicious fresh bread and butter, the prawn and chorizo pil pil was outstanding couldn’t get enough of it , fish cakes delicious and the lamb was unbelievably soft and juicy. The staff were extremely attentive without be overbearing, no hovering. Superb service. I would dine here again in a heartbeat. This has to be where you dine if your only in limerick for one night and a must if your here any longer.

24/04/2026: Great dining spot in Limerick. Food was delicious - we enjoyed everything we ordered, service was great, nice ambiance, staff were very lovely and attentive. Would love to come back and try the rest of the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant

25/03/2026: Went here for tea with a group of friends in the evening, very polite staff, friendly atmosphere. Lovely comfy seating. Would definitely return again

16/03/2026: Server mad a mistake while taking my order and brought my food out, I asked for her to add cheese. The server seemed annoyed, onec she brought it out the 2nd time and the food was still worng. I asked her to redo it since it was still wrong, she seemed even more annoyed and said it would take 10 ish minutes because the are busy. Food came after 20 mins and finally it was right, but at this point everyone at my table had finished their meal. Worst of all once the bill was presented we noticed they were changing us for the food they messed up. We were also told we had the table until half 4 and the manager came over at half 3 interrupting our conversation and asking us if we were done since they wanted the table. Absolutely horrible experience, ho to Chawke's 2 doors up they're way better. More hospitable and plesent.

21/05/2026: One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Amazing concierge service, rooms, location, room service, breakfast, etc. We had a great time here and it was the perfect location for us to walk all of Limerick and learn the city. We loved our room and housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping it clean during our stay. We didn’t want to leave!

13/05/2026: Service staff were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and comfortable. My partner had a Hereford steak sandwich and he enjoyed it thoroughly. I had a bacon and cabbage mash with with sauce which was good. Apple crumble was fine.Loved the Guiness.

13/05/2026: I got the Caesar salad and it was very good! I asked for no bacon, which they had no problem accommodating Quick and kind service :)

17/05/2026: Visited the mustard seed for dinner. Lovely atmosphere. Staff very attentive from the moment we arrived. I enjoyed sitting in the front living room, having a drink before our meal by the fire. Cannot fault the food. All fabulous. Due to high price point (but it is beautiful fine dining) I would personally only visit for a special occasion. I will return for a different special occasion and look forward to trying more items on the menu.

05/05/2026: Delicious. Went here this evening for a meal with 15 of us. Noone else was open on a Tuesday or could take such a large booking but someone in the group suggested here and so glad they did as the food was delicious. I have no idea how they made so many dishes for such a large group and everyone was delighted with their meals. will definitely be returning. 😁 I had the bangers and mash and would get again but i'm keen to try every option.

11/04/2026: Couldn’t fault it for a family break, kids had a great time. Dinner menu has something for everyone. The bar has multiple screens showing sports. Breakfast was super and the guy looking after us couldn’t have been more polite and helpful, when in other places asking for a coffee top-up can be met with a scowl. Pool and sauna area was great. Only downside was our room was a bit hot, possibly due to renovations, but the hotel fully looked after us which was fantastic service. There was even a wedding on the day we stayed and beyond the initial reception, you wouldn’t have even known. This place is properly run!

08/04/2026: Didnt stay the night but was there for a wedding. Service staff where fast and so polite. Could answer all questions about diet and allergens. Room looked incredible food was great. Such an amazing location highly recommend

25/04/2026: We had a fantastic meal there this evening but I really need to call out Amber she was excellent and so attentive.

21/04/2026: Really enjoyed Sunday lunch. Mixed roast platter. Staff were really busy but very efficient. Only minor complaint was our table was too small . There was no room to put roast platter on the stand and cutlery was falling off the table and we felt a bit uncomfortable tbh. Food was very good though and we would go again but book a different table.

27/04/2026: As soon as we walked in we got a table and the server assisted us with a smile! The staff is SO sweet and they have great taste in music. We got a Guinness & the butter chicken and it was delicious. I definitely will be back here again!

26/04/2026: I went to this place with a couple of friends because it looks lovely. We ordered our food, the woman was not very friendly but we didn’t pay attention to it, went to our table and waited for the food and drinks. My friends ordered 3 lattes, with oat milk or cows milk and the woman at the till said it was ok. We were really confused when a waitress arrived at our table with 2 coffees and 1 latte. She checked and the woman at the till didn’t write the order correctly so the ticket said 2 coffees and 1 latte. We didn’t want to make it a problem, the waitress was really sorry and lovely so we said it was grand. She brought the food to everyone except myself, I knew it was being prepared I was not worried. Then, the woman who took our orders at the till came to our table, asked me what I ordered and when i answered she looked at me in the eye very seriously and asked me “are you sure you paid for this?” saying she didn’t remember me ordering it. I answered that I had paid for it and that there was no need to be that rude and straightforward for no reason but she had already left. The lovely waitress brought my food 2 minutes after this saying she was sorry. The food was terrible, the soup was cold and too salty i couldn’t eat it. The benedict eggs were bland, the scrambled eggs and the irish breakfast were just ok, and the vegetarian toastie was full of onions, we could barely taste the other ingredients. I wouldn’t recommend this place neither for the food nor the atmosphere, there are lots of lovely and good places in Limerick to have lunch, BowesRyan is not one of them.

22/01/2026: I visit this coffee shop regularly and it’s always a such a lovely experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is always excellent. Highly recommend!
