21/09/2026: Some of the absolute best vegan cauliflower wings in ny life! Loved the live music as well.

20/09/2026: They were very helpful with gluten-free options! And they can make most of their menu gluten-free. They have a dedicated fryer for the gf food. They even had a gluten-free dessert I could have! The Morrocan chicken was excellent and the vegetables with it were flavorable and perfectly cooked. There is live music at 9pm. There is a bar as well as regular tables, and they take reservations in advance but don't require them. What a delightful place!

25/08/2026: Very kind and professional reception desk. Rooms spacious and well appointed to include US and Continental style electric outlets. Restaurant under construction but dining still available and food was excellent. We would enjoy staying here again.

29/07/2026: We had a good stay, except for the absolute nightmare of a server at breakfast who was very rude to our group. We had a large group and they were absolutely not prepared to handle a large order. She yelled, spoke very rudely, and made unnecessary comments about how we should not be ordering from the main menu, which no one told us about before we were seated. The food for very good and rooms were comfortable, but the breakfast from hell left us with a bit of a bad taste in the end. I hope they are more upfront next time about expectations and management of larger groups.

26/08/2026: Incredible food, the bacon and cabbage was legendary, I will be dreaming about that meal for a long time. Additionally the Guinness was on point as all Guinness in Ireland is, this is a great spot to stop in for a bite and a pint when in Adare, 5 stars at least!

06/09/2026: Very nice old irish pub with very good food. I didn't know my mum cooked me irish stew all the time untill I tasted it here. My first irish stew abroad :). Very similar to romanian lamb stew.

12/09/2026: We only had an hour to eat and we made it. The waiter was kind and with a sense of humour. We ordered a classic - fiśh&chips and pea puree. Fries and peas were OK, but the fish left a lot to be desired. The haddock is a very tasty fish, but surrounded by such armored breadcrumbs, it could not be cut. Aunty Lena must have had very strong teeth.

17/05/2026: Visited the mustard seed for dinner. Lovely atmosphere. Staff very attentive from the moment we arrived. I enjoyed sitting in the front living room, having a drink before our meal by the fire. Cannot fault the food. All fabulous. Due to high price point (but it is beautiful fine dining) I would personally only visit for a special occasion. I will return for a different special occasion and look forward to trying more items on the menu.

25/08/2026: Not a good experience by any means, the guy wearing glasses who looked to be in charge was very rude and very obviously in bad form. The floor staff were organising an area for a graduation and told us to sit wherever we wanted to so we did, not noticing the ‘reserved’ sign on the table - the manager came over and made a big deal about removing the sign, we offered to move. He was so rude and we would have walked out if there as anywhere else to go. The other staff were lovely even though I heard the same being horrible to the young girls on duty. You need to up your game this is not acceptable behaviour
