21/07/2026: We 1st had dinner here, it was excellent. Then we had a pre-booked concert (The High Stool Prophets) & they were absolutely fantastic. The whole venue was rocking. They also are back here on 9th Oct …… book your tickets very early, if available. The staff in Dolan's are 5*

10/07/2026: Everything was absolutely fantastic. Even from before our arrival at the restaurant, the contact and communication from Linda and the team ensured a perfect dinner. Most of our had the steak (which is the best in limerick for sure) along with the monkfish and pork belly. Everyone was delighted with th food it was AMAZING. The service and staff are all so fab and accommodating, service was fun and always with a smile. I haven’t been here in a good few years and I must sa, Freddy’s has kept the same consistency now as it has ten years ago. I look forward to going back soon.

30/06/2026: Here for a couple weeks for work and I reserve seating for my coworker and myself. I would have to say it’s one of the best spots that I have tried in Limerick. I had the pork tacos, ohhh so good. Steak was tender as can be. Lemon tart was good. I would highly recommend both the pork tacos and the steak.

I went with a friend to have a cocktail on the hotel terrace and I was surprised by the quality price, in addition to a quiet and very beautiful environment next to the river. I was attended by a very nice guy, I think his name was Vicente, thank you very much I'll be back for sure!

21/05/2026: One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Amazing concierge service, rooms, location, room service, breakfast, etc. We had a great time here and it was the perfect location for us to walk all of Limerick and learn the city. We loved our room and housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping it clean during our stay. We didn’t want to leave!

12/07/2026: I love coming to this place to eat, have a beer, and watch a game. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Plus, there's live music on weekends and a pool table.

05/07/2026: My wife and I had a fantastic experience at this local pub! The food is great, but the live music took the spotlight. A group of elderly musicians set up at the table right next to us, and they were absolutely wonderful! We could have listened to them all night, highly recommend!

09/07/2026: We got some pizzas and cokes- Coke was flat and came in a glass (no bottle/ can), pizza was tasty but in basic, frozen pizza kind of way. Service was friendly- lots of staff. It’s a real tourist spot in a lovely location with friendly staff but we thought the food was disappointing

28/05/2026: Revisited the Woodlands with the IMET retreat. It has become an annual event and I love it. I look forward to the hotel, the bedroom, the food, the grounds, the spa ... It's just magic. 11/07/2026: Dinner on Thursday evening with 10 people. We were seated upstairs which I think is fab. It can be a bit pricey but I don’t mind it for portion and quality. Appetizers and mains were lovely and very filling. Every dish turned out to be a highlight so I can’t recommend enough the ones that I had. I heard bad reviews from people but now I regret not trying it out sooner. It was such a delightful, wholesome dining experience and prob head back soon.

15/07/2026: Stopped in Adare on the way to Kerry for lunch with the kids. We were given a bar menu rather than the menu shown on the website. The waitress didn't seem to be listening to our order and had to come back to confirm what we had asked for. We ordered the kids' pasta and kids' burger. The pasta was simply an adult-sized portion of plain pasta with a tiny side of what tasted like jarred pasta sauce no more than two or three tablespoons to mix in. The kids' burger had to be sent back twice. The first time, both the bun and burger were burnt. It came back with a fresh bun but the same burnt burger, suggesting they had simply swapped the bun. We sent it back again. For the adults, we ordered the buffalo wings, truffle fries, and lamb stew. The truffle fries were alright. The buffalo wings were submerged in an oddly sweet sauce with peppers that tasted more like a Thai-style curry than buffalo sauce. The lamb stew was pale and looked like it had come from a pre-made packet. The broth had the thick, gloopy consistency of the filling from a tinned pie, as though it had been heavily thickened with cornflour. The total came to €58, which felt very poor value for the quality of the food. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I'd recommend saving your money and eating elsewhere.

17/05/2026: Visited the mustard seed for dinner. Lovely atmosphere. Staff very attentive from the moment we arrived. I enjoyed sitting in the front living room, having a drink before our meal by the fire. Cannot fault the food. All fabulous. Due to high price point (but it is beautiful fine dining) I would personally only visit for a special occasion. I will return for a different special occasion and look forward to trying more items on the menu.

23/06/2026: We had an absolutely incredible experience at Bulgaden Castle in Kilmallock. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were blown away by the hospitality. Our host was exceptionally warm and welcoming, which instantly set a wonderful tone for the entire evening. Upon learning it was our very first visit, she went completely above and beyond by taking us on a personal tour of the property. She showed us the charming pub area, the beautifully appointed dining room, and their massive event space. She explained that they host a fantastic Sunday dinner in that larger room, which looked like the perfect setting for a big family gathering. When it came time to order, we decided to trust her expertise and deferred to her recommendations for the evening specials. We ordered the roast pork and the classic bacon and cabbage. Both dishes were absolutely outstanding, packed with traditional flavor and perfectly prepared. Paired with great drinks, the meal provided the absolute perfect end to an adventurous day of exploring. Bulgaden Castle is a true gem in Kilmallock.

20/07/2026: Top house food from the starter main to desert is very delicious and the presentation is excellent , you dont wait too long for food, service is good I have been there several times, there pub and music as well, toilets are clean, I will definitely go back again and again and I highly recommend
