09/11/2025: Good food great for damily meal.

01/11/2025: In a world speeding up with seeming indifference to strangers and travelers on the rise, the Coach House Hotel stands alone in defense of the old ways. People matter here, as you'll be able to tell from the moment you step through their doors. Everything in my room was very clean and comfortable, and every single staff member I encountered went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care with a smile. And the food, well, it was one of the best meals I've had in the whole of Ireland. You can tell a master at work when such seemingly simple ingredients as chicken and potatoes are not only presented so beautifully but clearly cooked with love and attention to detail. I will be going out of my way to come back as often as possible.

22/09/2025: Love Swagman! Staff are all friendly, variety of drink selection, plenty of seating options and food is beautiful. Best pub in Sligo town ran by a gentleman in Dale!

04/11/2025: Very cute warm, & welcoming with friendly staff, The food let it down in my opinion, there was nothing wrong with the food on the menu, they could just fo better. Will try the pizza next time

03/11/2025: Great spot for Dinner! We had a really good dinner here and enjoyed the good vibes from the bar and the waiters & waitresses. Everything was freshly made and just tasted amazing!

09/10/2025: Wow, just had the most amazing lunch. Credit to the chef. The goats cheese and chicken dish was divine. Full of flavour and plenty on the plate.

26/10/2025: Starters, the potato skins were poor , my Chicken wings were over killed in BBQ sauce , and the salmon, unfortunately tasteless. . Very disappointing

24/10/2025: I am absolutely horrified that molly fultons refused to blend a meal for a young female wheelchair user on a pureed diet. I intend to tell as many people as possible about this disgusting refusal. I will never step foot inside those doors again and neither will any of my friends or family.

11/11/2025: Love this hotel got a fantastic balcony room it was outstanding got a lovely treat as we were celebrating 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel is so central in Sligo, private parking underneath hotel a small fee for secure parking. Our meal was beautiful and breakfast was outstanding too can’t wait to go back. The hotel staff was outstanding and attentive great hotel to visit.

09/11/2025: We visited Shells Café on a Sunday for breakfast. The full Irish was nice overall, the sausage was lovely, though the beans weren’t great. The poached eggs eggs tasted quite strongly of vinegar. We also had to call the staff several times, as different parts of our order had been forgotten. We understand it was a busy Sunday morning, but the service felt a bit disorganised and below what we expected. The café is lovely but not very clean, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the staff were friendly, and a walk along the coastline after breakfast is highly recommended, the views are beautiful and make up for the wait.

02/11/2025: Lovely little place, right on the seafront; good variety, a little expensive but food quality and service were great and it wouldn't stop a return trip.

09/07/2025: Lyons cafe ......as good it gets, tasty, reliable, reasonably priced. Great staff, great buzz highly recommended! We especially enjoyed the chicken, leek and bacon pie followed by the pear and almond dessert, simply sublime!

21/06/2025: This place does not disappoint. We've been here a couple of times the food has been 10/10 with each dish ordered; from soup to salad, dish of the day to vegetarian option. The only problem with visiting Sligo is there are so many tasty eateries to choose from. But do try to check this place out.

14/10/2025: Lovely Irish country pub that is a great spot for a drink and bit of food. Lots of food options from breakfast to dinner and everything is very clean. Burger is the best I've had anywhere and reasonably priced too All the staff are very friendly and professional. More than capable of dealing with larger numbers of people too. We were with them for the afters of a funeral and they couldn't have done anymore with food and service on the day. No one left hungry Enjoy

19/08/2025: Had dinner here last friday night with my husband,booking is recommended,very busy spot.food was very nice,service was fast and friendly,the atmosphere is lively,and the cocktails are yummie.would definitely return here

18/08/2025: Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our visit to the restaurant. Very high prices for small dishes without any seasoning. The burger was unfortunately very dry and not particularly well-prepared. It's a nice place to sit outside, but the music was a bit loud.

29/10/2025: Absolutely delicious breakfast- really excellent value for our family of six. We had two full Irish/Nook, eggs Benedict, French toast and porridge.

18/10/2025: Driving from Derry to Galway, we found Nook Cafe in Collooney; it was a real find. Great brisket toasties! Thanks to all the staff for a great lunch.

21/08/2025: Just had what can only be described as the best meal of our holiday so far .Malaysian curry for herself and sirloin steak for me .this was excellently cooked and very tasty. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend eating here.great value for money and service brilliant

14/11/2025: We had an amazing stay at the Riverside Hotel. The check in was one of the best ones we've ever experienced. Arthur welcomed us very warmly and shared interesting stories about the Irish life with us. He gave us a very nice room with a river view. In the morning we enjoyed a good breakfast, which was also served by the very friendly staff. We would definitely recommend staying here.
