29/06/2026: The vibe here is great and the outdoor seating is really nice, perfect for a slow brunch. I got the breakfast bravas with chorizo which hit the spot, and my partner got the simple which she loved too.

14/10/2026: Best vegetarian breakfast I’ve ever had ! The falafels were well cooked and crispy which I love . Sausages were A1. The homemade tomato sauce was divine. Satueed mushrooms and hashbrowns also , loved ! Portion was a little big for me , would’ve brought it away in a takeaway box if I wasn’t at a festival. 5/5 food would definitely recommend . My boyfriend got some sort of KfC sandwich which he said was gorgeous too
01/10/2026: Worth a detour!!! I got some massive buttermilk delight and he got the pilled beef sando and I will THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A LONG TIME! In a sea of mediocre cafe offerings a tight menu, cooked from scratch, with good ingredients wins all the praise - a great feed, great coffee, cosy atmosphere- what’s stopping u?

29/09/2026: Food here was very poor for the price point, a lack of flavour and portions which were too small. The staff were lovely and very accommodating but I feel like this is a bit of a tourist trap restaurant where you make a pit stop and think to yourself afterwards ‘I wish I stopped somewhere else’.

and polite staff and great food and handy little shop to pick up shopping and a very large car park it's conviently situated in the Castle Connor on the Ballina to Sligo Road area,they cater for all occasions all year round 👍

15/07/2026: Staff are really nice and welcoming. Food from the cafe bar is lovely, especially for lunch and dinner. Would highly recommend this place.

15/04/2026: My family stayed in the Riverside Hotel recently while my husband was attending hospital. We have stayed here several times, but this stay especially warranted a review. The lady at reception, Erin, quite literally moved heaven and earth for us. She went above and beyond to help us. She is an absolute credit to the hotel! A lovely woman, the hotel is blessed to have her!
