23/08/2025: At the Grattan Bar we had a very nice surprise: the owners decided to serve a special Brazilian feijoada. The dish was offered in two options: • small portion for €14, still very generous; • large portion for €18, perfect for bigger appetites. I tried the small one and it was more than enough — tasty, filling, and made with good quality ingredients. The price was fair and honest, really worth it. The owners are very friendly, always smiling and welcoming. They had this great idea to bring a bit of Brazil to Waterford, and they also mentioned that they plan to prepare other Brazilian dishes in the future. The only thing I would suggest is adding some Brazilian music, to make the atmosphere even more authentic. Overall, it was a great experience that I truly recommend, especially for Brazilians living nearby who want to enjoy the taste of home. 🇧🇷

21/08/2025: My wife and I stopped in for dinner and drinks and had an excellent time. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. We shared the beef roast which was exceptional. We had dinner at a 5 star restaurant in Dublin the evening prior and the beef roast we had here was the highlight of our trip. The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean.

26/08/2025: Can’t wait for this to be our local spot. We had a few drinks and a great chat with Flash- he spilled all the tea about Waterford and told us the good, the bad and the ugly. We honestly already felt like we’re were regulars after just one drink. Looking forward to coming back for more drinks, more chat and many more memories

19/08/2025: I organise an event at Revolution Bar on a weekly basis and the staff and manager Flash are incredibly accommodating. For all things whiskey, look no further than Revolution Bar in the heart of the city!

07/08/2025: Went in today for lunch.plenty specials on offer but we went for the Fish Pie and Lasagne.What can I say only our food was top notch.The Fish Pie was so generous in size and quality of fish within that I struggled.The Lasagne was equally a winner.Staff each and everyone of them were chatty helpful and lovely.Place is spotless .Won't be passing The Cove anytime we are in town .10/10 Honest Review.Keep the standard up Lads.on a winner.

05/09/2025: Down from dublin and have to say both nights Adam and Andrew made my night the lads are so accommodating will make any drink and so friendly. They made my trip to Waterford very memorable. The food was absolutely delicious and was no problem for a fussy eater like me to give me what I like, i love a black Russian and the lads went out of their way to find the recipe and make it for me. They made time to chat to everyone and make them feel special. Them lads are worth their weight in gold. Thank you the reg for a wonderful time.

30/08/2025: Went with a meal with my family for a special birthday. We had a 3 course meal and gorgeous bread We all enjoyed our meal very much and we all had different things to eat. Will definitely go back

21/08/2025: A five star experience here the other evening. Went with my mother and partner and blown away by the whole experience. The three course menu is great value for Ireland, the wine list comprehensive and, most importantly, the service outstanding! Kudos all round.

29/07/2025: I was very disappointed with the dinner I had in the Granville. Service was extremely slow, had to wait 15 minutes to order while staff stood around and bar was quiet. The staff member who took our order was extremely rude, we weren't told the specials and when I found asked a question, the staff member replied "sure I wouldn't know". My curry was definitely re-heated as there was a skin over it when it came out and the rice was uneatable. It was stuck together and felt it it had been re-heated. Took another 12 minutes to order dessert which was a big let down.

28/07/2025: Great service by Bonnie + Macy. We had delicious fish and chips. Accomodating and friendly. Attentive service, we didn't have to wait long

28/08/2025: There's no admission charge. There's an outdoor area you can use. I had to order beer inside. You can order (or sample) different types of Guinness there. The music is a bit loud, but what the heck, it's a lot for a very good beer :)

26/08/2025: My husband and I came here after a few locals told us this was the place to be. The beer was cold and the service with a smile was great. The food wasn’t amazing- very standard pub fair but it was a cool place and very popular. We’ll back- maybe not for dinner but to hang out and drink. Try not to get lost

13/08/2025: Was in there today for lunch with two friends, one omelette, chips and salad, one chicken, cheese salad sandwich no butter, one chicken salad sandwich both with chips, omelette and salad arrived, ten minutes later the sandwiches arrived and the chips, both sandwiches had salad, one small piece of chicken on one side of the sandwich only, both had bits of hard bacon on them, absolutely disgusting, chips were no better, a place to avoid.

27/04/2025: Friendly neighborhood pub! Bartender was great & regulars were welcoming. Cool decor! Smithwicks was delicious.
