18/02/2025: Stumbled across this amazing gem of a place! Family run business super friendly and the food was AMAZING.. had the sirloin steak and the homemade burger best food we had in ages so tasty..steak melt in your mouth and definitely a homemade burger delicious. Would highly recommend this bar for the food drinks and comfortable warm friendly atmosphere!! We will be back.. thank you x

13/02/2025: Stopped by for a pint and lunch...we weren't disappointed! I ordered the seafood pie (locally sourced fish) and my husband the Guinness hot pot...both were fantastic! And since we couldn't help ourselves, we also ordered a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert. O.M.G...it was beyond delicious! If you're in the area and are looking for a great place to grab a bite... do yourself a favor and swing by here. You won't regret it! I only got a shot of the pudding...the seafood pie was dug into immediately. Oops!

19/01/2025: I Litterly almost died the food was so good . If ur looking for terrible food don't come here cause everything was amazing. Especially the sushi highly recommended the California roll i was happy as a calculator. Jeremy the waiter was so helpful my water always full and super cold. 09/11/2024: What a local gem it is! The food from the restaurant is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The shop sells great quality veggies and different foods. It is a lovely spot to go for coffee and cake to.

19/01/2025: This is my second time visiting this restaurant. The food is fantastic, price was very good for 3 course menu €40.00 I thought portions were a little bit small, but we were very full after dinner. Staff were nice and friendly,. We had a lovely evening. The only thing I wasn't impressed - leggings on one staff member. Places like this, should have proper uniform.

07/02/2025: Back when I was working in the city center, 'The New Ship Restaurant' at Dooley’s Hotel became my go-to spot for lunch. It was the perfect place to escape the workday rush for a bit, grab a good meal, and just enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. The staff there were always super friendly and welcoming, making sure everything ran smoothly. Even when it was busy, the service was quick and efficient, so I never had to stress about getting my food in time. Speaking of food, I really loved their soup of the day - always fresh, flavorful, and served with delicious bread. But honestly, everything I tried was tasty, well-prepared, and served fast enough to fit perfectly into my one-hour break. Another small but important detail? The place was always spotless, including the restrooms, which were easy to find and well-maintained - something you don’t always think about until it’s a problem, but here, it never was. Looking back, I really appreciated having a spot like this where I could take a break, enjoy some good food, and just unwind for a bit. If I ever find myself back in Waterford, I’ll definitely be stopping by again!

19/12/2024: The seafood pie was sublime! Being seated close to the open kitchen, we also had the pleasure of hearing one of the cooks sing to himself which was very entertaining!
