09/11/2024: It was a very inconclusive dining experience. Like many, we wanted to dine at “The Italian Kitchen” so as not to leave the hotel again. The prices offered were exorbitant at the brasserie, so we turned to this restaurant. Several points caught our attention: firstly, a bottle of water that was excessively expensive and systematically offered even though we asked for a simple carafe. Second, bread pays off, even as an accompaniment to salad! Allow between 5 and 7€. Limited choice of beer for the aperitif (no Guinness). Besides these downsides, the atmosphere was really not there. Although the service was fast, the staff was not particularly welcoming or smiling. Value for money also more than limited for very meager portions. We do not repeat or recommend this restaurant.

07/11/2024: Hidden gem within the Clayton Hotel. I wasn’t staying and we visited as a family of 5. We were well looked after and given the choice of table to allow space for our bugs. Food was excellent, would highly recommend the carbonara. Will definitely call back soon.

02/12/2024: Complete disgrace. 40 euros for two pizzas that smells like old ham and not even the proper shape(I got triangle shaped pizza😂) with folds underneath of dough that is not cooked through. I've ordered 2 piccante pizzasl. Have ordered in La Tana in past but in last year the quality has gone down terribly. Last time i had similar issue. Unfortunately i have, but can't post it picture here it is probably not allowed

25/06/2024: Had dinner there tonight and I can’t say enough about it. The staff were absolutely lovely. Welcoming, funny, chatty but genuine throughout. The food was great. Had the burratta and prawns for starters and the lamb and linguini vongole for mains and it was all super. Had tiramisu for dessert and a fabulous bottle of wine too. Can’t wait to go back. It’s not cheap but worth every cent when you compare to other places. Can not wait to go back to La Cuccina!

11/11/2024: Mixed kebab didn't have chicken doner. Chips were very small and fried in very dirty oil. Kebab wasn't in pitta, it was the thinest wrap. Could not provide a receipt! Overall very disappointed. The chicken in my mixed kebab had breaded chicken (not chicken doner) and very little lamb doner meat. It was in a tortilla wrap not pitta. When my order was ready I asked for sauces on the kebab, they had already smothered it in sauce (likely to hide the breaded chicken) I would have been happy to have lamb only if they asked. Also didn't ask what salad I wanted just added a tiny amount of lettuce only. Chips were fried in dirt oil, tons of black bits on the chips, inedible. Both the kebab and chips portion sizes were very - very small! What a disappointment of people who clearly do not care about the standard they set.
