18/10/2025: The Rum House is always a great spot for food. Adrienne and the team are always quick to help and the food is top notch. I know there been a recent refurbishment so it decor I beautifully you to date. I'd definitely recommend a visit when you're in Dundalk

I’m not a vegan, but on that particular evening I ate a vegan pizza and it was very tasty.
The place was cozy and the service was very friendly.

17/05/2025: As someone new to town, I had this place recommended to me. I arrived late tonight, just 30 minutes before they closed. An older lady kindly explained their chef had already left. However, she was incredibly helpful and still managed to serve me. She offered me lasagna, and it tasted great! I ate quickly so they wouldn't have to stay open late for me, but she never rushed me and even kindly warned me it was very hot. At the register, she even gave me an Italian bread to take home and try. I'm so grateful for her kindness. It meant a lot to me and really made a difference.

17/07/2025: thanks for making a delicious Vesuvio pizza with the most amazing roasted peppers rather than raw ones (like they do in other places) as it gives a lovely flavour. Your carbonara and wings are a must in our house too. Always friendly staff when ordering.

03/10/2025: If you are a women and want to be treated like a second class citizen go here.
All women by themselves or eating together were sitted down the back in the sun shining in there eyes. While men where sitted at the best tables.
The maître de was specially rude, knowing we were waiting to pay our bill, he talked to every staff member he could find. We would still be waiting if I didn't interrupt him.
This behaviour starts with management so if this is not company policy to treat women this way, retraining needs to be done.

27/08/2025: We were the first to arrive (2 adults and 4 kids) at the restaurant. Order pizzas for the kids and starters and mains for the adults
Waited 45+ minutes to get the starters. When asked how long for the mains and kids pizzas they said 40 min more...
By this time the kids were starving. Paid for the starters and drinks and left.
Plus they dont accept card payments...in 2025...
We are really looking forward to try this restaurant but after this very bad experience we will not being going back.
13/07/2025: was told it was cash only at the door , then had to be let in and out of the restraunt by a gate only staff could open , then proceeded to wait 2hours ,yes 2 hours for our food everyone in the restaurant was also waiting for the same period of time , two of us had ordered the same dish and was served with mix matched pasta as a seems of a last result overall very disappointing experiance

30/10/2025: Large order for a party, pizzas were overcooked, dried out, bland - like eating leather. Customer service appalling, a ‘tough luck’ and dismissive attitude which is dreadful when spending hundreds of Euro. Never again Blanch Mizzoni !

16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .
04/04/2025: It's closed. The website and IG look alive, same with open table. But there's a chain lock on the gate and the security at power court tells me they've closed up about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

28/08/2025: It was good but has completely lost focus on the food that they sent out , the last three pizzas were starting to change my mind . The food is very salty leaving you with a incredible thrist the following morning ( yes the last three so it wasn't anything else that I consumed) the ingredients appear to have way cheaper and not fresh . The last pizza was a nightmare.
My honest opinion go somewhere else . especially with response of customer services .
See photo that's meant to be half and half ....the premises said sorry but we are busy can we do something for you tomorrow!!!
So I get a response from Apache to reach out Management to which I did with the response from them above ...well that says it all and yes I have What's app prove of their response .
07/08/2025: Avoid at all cost. I got food poisoning same as the other person who left a review 3 days ago as that’s when I ordered. I’m still throwing up this shop definitely needs to get shut down with amount of bad reviews. AVOID AT ALL COST

07/09/2025: I ate here recently with a group of friends and I was very excited but left extremely frustrated and disappointed. The service was very slow the manager seemed flustered and was very passive aggressive to the young waitress and our table as well. We waited over an hour for our main and all the other tables seemed to be getting seen to and served before us. We asked for a dip that never came. We had to ask for our bill twice as the manager just ignored our request the first time. The food as well was rather flavourless and wasn’t exactly as described on menu. The young waitress was very nice and was doing her best. I simply will not be returning here in the future. Very disappointed!!!!
21/07/2025: The owner of this restaurant must be the rudest most unwelcoming person we have ever encountered. We were left standing in a busy restaurant for 20 minutes and completely ignored despite having made a booking. We then waited another 30 minutes to have our order taken.
I was shocked to see the way the owner was speaking to people who were coming in to see if a table was available. She truly treats every customer as an inconvenience.
When we were waiting for dessert we overheard the owner telling the staff to take our order fast as she has another booking coming in. This delay was completely their fault. I ordered wine with dessert which was completely ignored and the bill was slapped down on our table. I believe we only got an opportunity to order dessert as it was included in the 2 course menu.
This place must be purely running on tourism because nobody in their right mind would return.
