31/03/2024: Even though reservation was taken via Google upon arrival it was clearly evident that the place has been permanently closed for some time.

12/02/2024: Decided off the cuff to try this restaurant about 8pm on Sunday evening, 11th Feb. Staff very welcoming and polite. Menu has a great selection of starters, anti pasta, seconds/mains and deserts. We didn't have want a big meal, so just olives to start. I ordered a veal dish, with Italian potatoes and vegetables. My wife ordered a pasta dish, with meat and tomato sauce. The veal, with a deep, rich, mushroom sauce, was blissful. Indulgence at its best. Potatoes and vegetables, perfect. The pasta was also excellent. To go with the food, we ordered a bottle of Chianti classico, full bodied and very reasonably priced. Service was perfect, unfussy, polite and responsive. When leaving, we had a good chat with the owner, he's also head chef. Amazing how difficult it is for restraunts to survive, with increased VAT, and cost of supplies doubling in recent years. Credit to him and his staff. I hope he survives. Would highly recommend , and will return.

05/04/2024: “Place is gone way downhill, I ordered a burger from here and they got the burger completely wrong,loads of toppings on it that I didn’t ask for,i ordered on the app so when I rang to tell them about it,there was a girl telling me it was my fault and I could hear a guy it the background saying who cares we made it we don’t care used a curse word and said let them eat it, then the girl was like shhh we have to be nice,so they basically said it was my fault when it literally wasn’t,I had the receipt, so they said they’d send down a new one but tbh I didn’t feel safe eating it,after the behaviour off the staff over the phone, I was so shocked and taken aback by the appalling behaviour of the staff, I’ll never order out of here again the food is also gone Dirt. 🤮

02/04/2024: Haven't ordered in a good while as got food poisoning. Ordered last night to Try it again and I was violently ill 2 hours later. Leakage from both ends, shakes and trembles. I know a few people now who've said the same. Leaky bum food . Avoiding for ever now

16/03/2024: Nice Italian decor and background music. Friendly and helpful staff. Menu is reasonably priced. But the quality of food is inconsistent and not as good as it used to be. Bruchetta was excellent. Seabass with mussels was fine. The Lasagne, however, was not fresh, it had been reheated and had gone hard. Selection of wine quite limited. Toilets just ok. But toilet lid in the gents needs fixing and the soap dispenser was empty. Many tourists and visitors are in Carlingford for the first time and do not know what time the restaurant opens. There is no notice on display in the window, as most other places have. As it happens, it opens from 5pm most evenings but none of the locals could tell us that. Consideration should be given to opening the restaurant slightly earlier on a Sunday afternoon to catch some of the many day visitors to the village. This looks like a small family business that should be supported. However, they need to listen to advice and take on board any feedback. Sadly the lady in charge is a little defensive and does not seem open to it. We wish them well. Times are tough for restaurants.

18/03/2024: Nice little Italian restaurant in the middle of Midleton. We went here for dinner after the Whiskey Tour Experience. The food was first class, very tasty at really good prices. Highly recommended and would be happy to come back at any time!!

23/11/2023: I have gotten giovannis a number of times now while working in Navan. I always get the kebab tray and it's unreal! Staff are very friendly and the prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. Will be back 👍

29/03/2024: This pizza, a mere whisper of dough, left me crestfallen. Its ingredients, akin to a pauper’s feast, failed to impress. The crust, thinner than parchment, clung to my palate like regret. And the spice! Oh, the unwelcome heat, uninvited to our table. We shall not darken this eatery’s doorstep again. For €20.50, this oversized disappointment feels like daylight robbery. An utterly unpalatable experience.

01/03/2024: We completed our order online and received a confirmation. The ETA noted on the email was 2.5 hours so I called to double check. The person advised that they weren’t intending to fulfill the order. I asked if they were going to advise me and they said I’d probably have received a rejection email before the expected ETA and that my refund could take a few days!!!!! This is the second time this has happened. Never again!!!

31/03/2024: Charged me for items that were not in the bag. My bus arrived and I was not able to run back and dispute.

19/03/2024: He got the order mixed up and he didn't put meat on my friends' kebab, he put a kind of vinegar sauce on the potatoes without asking and he also dropped the potatoes on the floor and put them in the fryer

18/03/2024: Fast service and delicious food. Plenty of gluten free options also. Could provide water at the table but otherwise amazing. Five stars 😁

16/03/2024: Attended ECO this evening at around 6pm. Lovely menu lots to choose from. I ordered chicken skewers and my partner had the katsu curry. Pleasant service and waiters were friendly. Didn't have to wait too long for food to arrive. Food was tasty but over priced for the standard of food being served. Lacks creativity on the plate and unimaginative. A long strand of hair was sticking out of rice when food arrived to the table. Waiter was apologetic and offered a 20 % discount. Not likely to visit eco again.

03/12/2023: Sorry we won't be back, my husband's steak was not fresh, he got fish and it was dreadful 😫 my sons garlic mushrooms were jus horrible 😢, sorry guys won't be back
