28/09/2024: The food is very good here but the staff really need some training, the manager was extremely rude I have never seen the likes of it, just completely ignoring us and never asking was everything okay or did we need anything, it was impossible to get her attention. Unfortunately there was a black hair in my carbonara and I tried to get her attention but was being ignored, I then went into the restaurant to tell her and I received absolutely no apology, she didn’t offer to have it remade. All she said was okay??? I then asked to get it remade which they did and I was very grateful but again received no apology, even when the new dish came out the manager didnt bring it out or check to make sure everything was okay or take away the food with the hair in it. At the end I do appreciate that the carbonara was taken off the bill but the money was not an issue I would preferred to be treated with some respect and to have gotten an apology, when we paid there was a sneaky comment left “well we don’t know who’s hair it was but I guess a hair is a hair whover it belonged to” insinuating it was mine but neither me or my partner have black hair so there is no possibility. I had come here for many years quite often but to be honest I wont be coming back it has just ruined my view of the restaurant sadly.

07/12/2024: Review of Mario's Pizza I recently visited Mario's Pizza, and while the establishment has some positives, the overall experience was disappointing. First, the good: the restaurant itself is clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is polite, professional, and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the pizza does not live up to expectations, especially given the price. At 20 euros for a 12-inch pizza, I was expecting something extraordinary. Instead, the pizza is very small, lacks a generous amount of ingredients, and—most importantly—is not tasty. The flavor is underwhelming, leaving you feeling like you've wasted your money. In summary, while the ambiance and service are great, the core product—the pizza—falls short. For the price, I expected much more in terms of taste and value. I wouldn’t recommend Mario’s unless they significantly improve the quality and size of their pizzas. 2/5.

15/11/2024: Super tasty wood fired pizza although it’s bit pricey. Adding more verities and special offers would certainly encourage regular visits from foodies like me.

25/08/2024: Avoid at all costs spaghetti bolognaise for €19.95 and was average at best. Food was utter crap . You can get better and cheaper food in Dublin than this And the place needs a lick of paint very dirty walls

25/08/2024: We attended as a large table of family. We all ordered different meals and have varying tastes ranging from toddler pallette to foodies. Everyone was not only satisfied but was sad to come to an end to such a wonderful taste experience. I cannot reccomend this restaurant enough, the service was wonderful and provided by younger people who genuinely seemed to care about how we enjoyed our evening. The food was full of fresh ingredients which combined into flavours full of depth and felt like they had been prepared for you at a family table in Italy. Pleasing everyone in a group can be hard but everyone agreed that we will be back, together and separately. I highly encourage you to visit and try anything from their menu, it was an evening where everyone said "you have to taste this" for every dish served.

29/11/2024: Maybe good place to eat but within 30 minutes we ware not even ask for order! Was busy but not soo busy to ignore customers! Please check your cameras again because yes ware inside and for short time we ware without a table and yes that’s not a problem during busy hours but after that we was having a table and 3 or 4 groups of people that come in after us ware asked for order we didn’t - 2 adults and 2 children. We ware asked for order only once one of your staff discover that we want to leave. Something like this is not acceptable to ignore customers and once you checked cameras fair play for doing this but your reply is not 100% right.

18/12/2024: Took a long time to seat us eventhough we were the only ones waiting and the place was not full. Then, we were ignored until I flagged a waiter. Food was average. Not my best experience.

From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her warm, positive attitude made the entire evening so enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely loves what they do, and Robyn’s professionalism and kindness stood out in every way. She truly made our meal memorable - thank you, Robyn!

13/12/2024: ordered delivery there, comes up saying delivered , point blank DIDNT deliver to me, ROBBED me of £20 and then on the phone pretends she cant hear you and hangs up!? JOKE! delivery driver obviously had it as came to hotel reception and was told in the order the room number and pretended he didnt know it, he also had my number on the order ZERO attempt to deliver, robbed!!

28/11/2024: Used to be a great resteraunt been in twice and the food was dry and tasteless, the service wasn't very good, and we ordered a steak medium rare and it was burned they seem to rush you, won't be going again

31/10/2024: Ate here on the bank holiday Monday at the end of October and it was extremely filling for the price we paid. The service was great, we were seated quickly, provided with free freshly baked bread and left with the menus. However, we did order a coke with our meal which never came but we were not charged for. Not sure if there was a staffing issue when we visited but there was only 1 waitress for the whole restaurant who was over about 8/10 tables that night. For 2 people we ordered a pizza, garlic bread, wedges and creamy chicken pasta with broccoli. All came out together, freshly cooked and were delicious. Overall an extremely satisfying restaurant with a good price point

02/11/2024: We had restaurant to ourselves due to Halloween night. Nicest food in long time. Amed the waiter was just so nice left us no rush get us out . We went 6.30 left 9.45 just before 10pm close time. Value service top notch

19/10/2024: Stopped in kind of unexpectedly and glad we did. First off, it's BYOB and no corkage fee. So that's a definite plus. Nice atmosphere. Decent music.playing in the background not too loud or intrusive. Friendly staff and a somewhat concise menu. They seem to do a few things but they seem to do them well. Started off with the garlic bread mozzarella which was outstanding. Basically a mozzarella pizza without the sauce. Really yummy. We both had the house special pasta which is kind of a Cajun meats Italian spin on a pasta dish. The chicken and andouille sausage were great and one of the highlights of the dish was the broccoli. Everything about it was fresh and delicious. Worth checking out if you're in the area. Next time I want to try some of their Asian dishes.
