23/07/2025: I had a slow cooked beef sandwich in there today and it was actually one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. The beef was so juicy, sweet and tender, paired with the mustard and jalapeño it was stunning. The ciabatta was so fresh too. The side salad, albeit small, was delicious especially the dressing it came with. Only criticism is the sauce the beef was cooked in was a tad too sweet for my palette but that sweetness was offset by the spice of the jalapeños and tangy mustard. Really filling and delicious lunch and would get it again!
19/07/2025: So Happy that Papaz is back open, the staff are so kind and welcoming. The pulled pork is absolutely amazing and so filling too. Highly recommend giving this place a go 📍

19/08/2025: The pizzas aren't good enough for the price. You can't taste the ingredients and they're oily, so it's not worth it. We asked for tap water and were told they didn't have any (which I think is a bit odd). We asked for bottled water and it cost us €6 a bottle. I don't recommend this place.
19/08/2025: I don't recommend it. They charged us 15 euros for each pizza, and they're the same quality as kebab shops in Spain; they cost at most 5 euros. They denied us free water—that's never happened to us in Ireland. We then asked for a bottle of water and were charged 6 euros for it. I would recommend they improve in every way for the sake of their business.

16/06/2025: Ristorante tipicamente nord europeo, senza tante apparecchiature, ma con cibo molto buono. Abbiamo mangiato fish&Chips, ben fatto, fritto bene, non unto, ma croccante e leggero. Ottimo anche l'irish coffe. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, tant'è che ci siamo limitati al solo main course, saltando apetizer e dessert. Prezzi nella norma della tipologia di ristorante. Consigliato

21/07/2025: Love this place. We had bruschetta + mussels for starter, which was great!
Lasagne + risota for main. Tiramasu for dessert. Gorgeous atmosphere, staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

11/08/2025: Ordered the fillet steak. I have to say that it was the worst steak I've ever had in my life and I'm not exaggerating. It was completely dry and definitely wasn't worth €30. The chips were akin to your run of the mill frozen oven chips that you would get from tesco. The peppered sauce was not peppered sauce at all, it was more like gravy with a bit of black peppercorn thrown in. Was quite lumpy. The best thing about it was the mints at the end. Would never recommend this place to anybody and I'm sorry to say that but I feel that this review has to be written.

08/07/2025: Came here for a bite and had the fish and chips. They were nice. I’ve had it cheaper and I’ve had it more expensive as well. I would say check the menu beforehand. This is priced higher as a restaurant, not as a chippy. Pros and cons to that of course. As long as you know what you’re looking for ahead of time, you’re grand. I shared the photo and price to by friend in Wicklow working in Dublin l, he wasn’t keen on the price for a small amount of food. Surely we can throw on a few more chips for these costs.

28/07/2025: Absolutely magnificent restaurant experience at Sands Mediterranean in Clontarf. The food here is to die for...we ordered the best Frutti di Mare pizza ever with the most delicious seafood toppings, the wonderful baked hake with pasta and the freshly battered fish and chips. The garlic pizza starter went down a treat and the triple cooked chips and garlic mayo are superb. Mick and his staff are the best and so welcoming and accommodating. This was another really top notch dining experience and I highly recommend putting Sands Mediterranean on your list of restaurants to try in Clontarf. 5 stars all day long!

17/08/2025: Have been to Il Corvo many times pre concert and always a good experience so was disappointed to find that both food and service were so bad at our recent visit. We had a table for 5:15 and were seated at 5:30 which was expected as it was so busy. We ordered immediately however 40 mins later we still were waiting for starters. We asked for water 3 times and never got any. The main courses were mediocre. The vegetarian pasta was basically plain pasta with broccoli and tomatoes all over cooked. The carbonara was very greasy and the sauce was minimal.
So disappointing and for the price I won’t be returning.
Maybe it’s ok on a normal day but on a match or concert day I would steer clear.

03/08/2025: Went for dinner tonight had the carbonara which was pretty disappointing and the service unfortunately was pretty bad. We had to ask for everything numerous times! I also wanted to double check the time on the booking and emailed days before and left a voicemail after ringing in the days leading up to and never heard a thing back. The one star was for the prosecco it was particularly nice!
30/07/2025: Good pizza, lively selection of ice creams and excellent service. We'll be back.

15/08/2025: Last night we went to Cavallinos the food was fantastic.
We have been to Italy a few times and the food here was reminiscent of the freshest food we had in the markets in Florence.
The
Menu is in Italian style with primo and secondi the water is even Italian.
There were even some vegan options which my partner ordered and they were also lovely.
We will be back.

02/09/2025: Was really looking forward to my usual Chicken Penne Arrabitta and meatball starter, only to find that they are no longer on the menu😟 unfortunately there was no tomato based dishes to choose from, went for a BBQ chicken pizza, couldn't find any chicken on it, inquired with chef via server ( who agreed he couldn't see any chicken) was told it was indeed on the pizza, i'm still looking. Very disappointed 😞
