05/07/2025: Best Italian food I've had in Ireland, there can't be more than a few places on this level and half them are probably €150pp Michelin stars. You enjoy it more as food is perfectly home cooked with TLC and top ingredients and flavour and it's actually healthy Mediterranean food without cheap chemicals and oils etc typical of modern "food". Digests really well and you feel great even after having a big feed and dessert too. Server was really nice and the chips were perfectly crispy and made from a nice potato. Pizza was custom ordered and very very nice. One of the nicest pizzas I've had. The bourbon vanilla soft serve Italian ice cream and (I forgot the name of it but basically soft pastry wrapped desert with light whipped cream) was very very good I enjoyed the small homemade and very tasty desert more than a big bowl of cheap ice cream which is only chemicals frozen milk and sugar. Bit pricey but it's actually fair for the service and quality of food and ingredients. You just need to know what you're getting and that it is a premium dining experience. With soft drinks, 2 desert, chips and a 12 inch custom pizza between 2 people and a few euro tip to round it the meal came to 50 which was well worth it. Definitely will be back for special occasions.

06/06/2025: Tried Cesare’s for the first time tonight and was really impressed. The food was full of flavour and felt genuinely Italian. We had the pasta and Pizza and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Cosy atmosphere too, great spot for a relaxed meal out. Will definitely be back!

14/08/2025: We arrived around 7.45 on a Thursday, there weren't any seats available. We ordered two pizzas and a coke for takeaway. It took about 25 mins. Our main issue was the service. Firstly, they forgot to give us the drink we had paid for. Then we walked all the way down to the seafront to find the pizzas weren't even cut. We returned to the premises to ask them to be cut, a poor effort was given in resolving the issue and no one apologized which would have been appreciated. Despite the poor service, we did enjoy the pizza and imagine it would better warm!

23/07/2025: Really tasty pizza here. We got several to try and couldn't fault any of them. Staff were polite and attentive. Two pizzas came out over 5 to 10 minutes before the others, which wasn't great as we were waiting until everyone had been served before eating. But apart from this, everything was great. Dips are pricey at €2.50, house wine €8 per glass. Pizzas range from €17 to €20 for 12"

17/08/2025: Recently quality decreased but price increased. Pizza base used to be thick now it’s paper thin and price has gone up.Also not as tasty as it always was. Used to be my go to takeaway but not anymore. I’ve loved this place and the food here since I was a kid but I’m sorry to say it’s not the same anymore

16/08/2025: Have always loved this restaurant. Hadn't been in awhile and felt the prices were very high for what you got, other local restaurants not as expensive for similar food. My son who is 10 didn't want kids menu as loves chicken wings, only size to order was €16.50 starter. Should have smaller option. Got a 9" and 12" pizza, €20 and €21 only €1 difference which doesn't seem right. Burger was far too large and couldn't be eaten like a burger, had to be cut up. Food was still very tasty and staff friendly. Don't think we'll be rushing back unfortunately 😕

23/08/2025: After rather unpleasant experience in the Driver's pub nearby we went to find some properly cooked food. And oh dear! This place is awesome. One of the best Kebabs I ever had. Friendly stuff and reasonable prices! I wish we didn't waste time in the other place and came here right away. Absolutely recommend! Just look at this cake

20/07/2025: The first red flag for us was there was only person on service and waited a long time to make our order . That said he was a good guy just over run. As to the food the meat balls for starter were over cooked yet sauce was nice . The mains were dreadful and like something you would give to your dog with the leftovers from yesterdays dinner . Roast potatoes reheated and you would need a chainsaw to cut through them . Chicken over cooked and roast parnips and carrots were limp and soggy and on a bed of tasteless mash. Gravy tasted like bad wine. Left without having the deserts as we didnt have high hopes after was we were already served.

25/07/2025: The pizza and chips are really good, it's a perfect balance of homemade and fast food, it doesn't feel like eating grease but it also doesn't feel too traditional, its the perfect treat!
