24/06/2026: Love this restaurant. Really good, extensive menu and reasonably priced

10/06/2026: Lovely warm and cosy atmosphere and the food was incredible. My partner and I got a sirloin each which was cooked perfectly and then shared a delicious light cheesecake. Absolutely perfect, will definitely be back.

03/08/2026: Good meal in here. Got the meatballs and pasta carbonara. Food was good. Got two glasses of coke. I booked a table for 8pm. It was starting to get busy but service was good.

01/08/2026: This is one of those places where they think they are doing you a favor by serving you. Abrupt and unfriendly service from everyone except one young server who seemed to care about what he was doing. Asked for the table with the view by the window upon reserving and was told curtly by the owner or manager upon walking in “it is already booked!” The servers don’t speak to you and put the water and glasses down on the table without saying a word. Our exasperated waiter was not listening to us and was rushing us through our order. We were famished but couldn’t even have a basket of bread (which is at a charge) without putting the entire food order in first. They slam the dishes down on the table and dropped a fork into my daughter’s plate with no apology. There was also a knife pointing at her face while they were clearing the table. Definitely not at all customer focused. Someone on reviews said the portions are small and they are but who would want more? It’s average at best. The meatball appetizer brought our review from one star to two. We ALWAYS tip at least 10% but nothing here - they don’t want you here. They are just going through the motions. Not worth the 1/2 hour drive it took to get there although it was nice to walk along the water after dinner.

09/04/2026: We hosted a company team building event here and to say we enjoyed ourselves is an understatement! The team went above and beyond to get us all involved and laughing! Would highly recommend

11/04/2026: Don’t get the Pulled BBQ Chicken. There’s barely any chicken on it and they know it. I just don’t think a dish should be named after something it’s not. It’s 85% chips, bbq sauce mayo with a touch of chicken. We celebrated my friend’s birthday and I think the staff was wonderful. We did raise the ‘chicken situation’ and were handled by staff with composure. Mains were ok. The desserts are fab. I prob won’t head back here if I’ll have to pay.

22/03/2026: The staff is friendly and quick, making sure you feel taken care of. The food is fresh, tasty, and well-presented, with delicious options. The seating is comfortable and spread out nicely, creating a relaxed vibe. With fast service and great food, it’s a place you’ll definitely want to come back to. Definitely a 5 ⭐️ love this place food was tooooo good I didn’t take pictures with. 🤤

03/07/2026: This place was so good we came twice in three days. You should book as it is small and busy. All the food was tasty but the pasta was amazing and the pork and potato dish was amazing.

19/06/2026: At the moment when we get in, three tables were free and three were occupied. Two of free tables were for six people, and one for four. Although it was only two of us, we asked if we can get one of tables for six, because table for four is next to the door, and delivery service is also operating though that door. We were rejected with explanation that those tables are reserved. We ordered two pizzas, one on a gluten free base, and one pint of beer, (they don't have gluten free beer). Order was served in 15ish minutes and then the personal were changed.(Shift) Then, a single person enters and asked for a table, and, now a new waiter points guest for one of free tables for six. Wich obviously were not reserved. Both pizzas were delicious and perfect in all ways. Gluten free base was the best one I had in ages. It would be nice if GF beer was available too. Staff were friendly and polite. Place is clean and well maintained. We will come back, but not at the table next to the door.

10/08/2025: My partner and I left vomiting all night and extreme stomach sickness after eating here, no manager to speak to, to help deal with this situation, was left speaking to the assistant manager who has no clue what she is doing and accused me of lying just to get my money back, told me to go get proof that im sick from the doctor, said her name was Monica just talked over me the whole time on the phone and acuused me of lying and was shouting at me the whole phonecall, absolutely horrible person, has no place in a customer service job, please dont eat in this dump unless you want to be sick and abused

26/07/2026: My family and I go out for dinner to eco once a week because the food is out of this world! The house pasta is to die for and I would 100% recommend the dish to any pasta lovers. The penne primavera dish is also amazing and is my go to eco meal it’s a great dish if you’re a tomato base sauce lover, I also add chicken to it. The cheesy garlic bread goes amazing with each pasta dish and is definitely without a doubt the best garlic bread in town and it’s also the size of a large pizza! Their sweet chilli chicken wings are a must! They are super flavourful and meaty. Usually when we go out for dinner the two little ones would never finish their meal but every time we mention eco they get so excited to get the margarita pizza and chips and before we know it they have devoured it, every Saturday the whole family is hyped up about going to eco because we all know we are going to have a great time and get a delicious meal! The staff are so kind and welcoming the minute you step in the door, there is one staff member in particular Abbdi that is usually out waiter, he always comes up haves chats with us, makes sure we have all our drinks, makes sure all the food has been served and that we are enjoying the meal. One of the main reasons we are always in eco is their consistency, every visit I feel that the meal tastes even better! I would highly recommend eco to anyone looking for a gorgeous heart warming meal, or even looking to go out for a birthday dinner, you can hire the upstairs private room! Eco is by far my favourite restaurant in gorey and it is 100% going to be hard to beat that!
