17/03/2025: Hemos estado yendo a este restaurante durante mucho tiempo . . las últimas 3 veces ha sido muy estresante y poco profesional. Hoy estuvimos allí una hora (mesa reservada) y pedimos pagar la cuenta , luego pedimos pasar a una mesa de repuesto ya que estábamos tardando demasiado. . cuando nos fuimos la camarera tiró nuestra tarjeta y recibo sobre la mesa . También me dijeron al salir "oh pensé que ibas a sentarte de nuevo" servicio muy grosero. La comida siempre es buena, pero el servicio es terrible

19/01/2025: Had my mom's birthday served slop starter was good but served un editable food for mains it was literally cantonllie with cheese but full of water had to send it back it that's what they served me cnt eat anything in there left hungry I have never left an Italian restaurant hungry we asked for extra bread no and we wanted to pay for it

08/03/2025: Si vous avez faim... c'est ici qu'il faut aller !!! Tout est servi généreusement !!! Le service est attentif et efficace. Pizza, pâtes et lasagnes sont excellentes. Le cadre est sympa avec des talents surprenant aux toilettes des femmes !!! A ne pas manquer !!!

05/01/2025: Arrived to be told only the early bird menu was available and there were no fish or chicken wings, leaving very little choice from the limited menu. Service was good, food was okay.

09/03/2025: They gave us a €100 gift card to this restaurant that I would rate as the worst in Cork. The worst attention! I had booked with a child, specifying that we were two adults and a baby, they installed us next to the kitchen in the middle of the passage. When we settled in, there were 4 covers, they did not bother to remove the excess cutlery and glasses. Everything was rushed, we didn't even have time to sit down because they already came to ask what we wanted, I asked them to wait a moment and I also asked for the cocktail menu that had not been delivered to us. They returned two minutes later and I hurriedly ordered a tuna and some drinks, including a limoncello spritz as an appetizer. They brought us the appetizer, non-alcoholic drinks and wine all at the same time. Then they brought the starter which was good but the second one quickly arrived, my tuna was the worst I could taste: dry, raw in parts and on top with a burnt taste. We hadn't even been in the restaurant for 30 minutes at that point. The truth is that tears came to my eyes because of the terrible experience we were having, since it was our first outing in 8 months! I took all the tuna to go so my dogs could eat it at home! When I told them it was dry they didn't tell me anything at all! Since we had €100 to spend we forced ourselves to order dessert, coffee and digestif… We entered at 1:50 p.m. and at 3:00 p.m. we were outside the restaurant with: appetizer, starter, main course with wine, dessert, coffee and digestif!!! A record time for a restaurant that wants to sell itself in a certain category. I have never had such a horrendous experience, it is surely the place in Cork with the worst service and attention! A total disaster, thank goodness Cork was sunny to brighten the day!!!

21/01/2025: Food was generally OK. Mussels for starter were very good. Main - the Filetto al Pepe - tasty, but presentation very poor. This medallions in pepper sauce looks like a blob on the plate. It was served with some sliced and roasted potatoes, which were fine, but a piece of cauliflower and brocoli served with this dish in my opinion does not work at all. Tiramisu for the dessert was ok. Restaurant does not have any sweetener for coffee and waitress offered honey instead. Well, that is also sugar... Place is a bit run down - hanging bare wires from the ceiling, not build in properly aircon unit, so it is not adding at all to the atmosphere.

08/03/2025: Comemos aquí con la familia. La comida, el personal y la decoración era fantástico. Era una noche tranquila de domingo, así que tuvieron tiempo para estar atentos, y ciertamente lo estaban. Las porciones , pasta , pizza y en mi caso deliciosos Raviolis de Espinacas (regados con un rojo de casa muy agradable ) eran más que adecuados. Mis nietos optaron por llevar las pizzas y esto no fue un problema para ellos. La cuenta era muy razonable para un partido de seis y sin duda volveré en mi próxima visita a KK. ¡Grazie!

20/02/2025: Servicio sin la sonrisa. Cuatro de nosotros decidimos espontáneamente salir a cenar el miércoles por la noche. Italian Connection fue acordado y otros sugeridos en el caso de no poder conseguir una mesa sin reserva. Al entrar en el restaurante nos encontramos con un miembro del personal de marca que supuse por el acento era italiano. Pregunté si era posible conseguir una mesa para cuatro... .. así que aquí es donde comienza la comunicación de una sílaba... ¿reserva? A lo que respondí que no, siento que haya sido una decisión espontánea. ¡Señaló la mesa y declaró allí! Durante toda la noche nos sirvieron simplemente comida y bebidas... ¡Tuve que pedir un menú de bebidas! En ningún momento preguntamos si todo estaba bien. Sin compromiso sin despedida sin gracias. Simplemente grosero y no quería estar allí desde mi perspectiva. La comida era hermosa y disfrutamos de la comida, pero este tipo necesita mejorar su habilidad o elegir una carrera en un entorno no orientado al cliente. He organizado fiestas navideñas de oficina antes en este restaurante y el personal era encantador e incluso contemplé tener a mis hijos confirmación aquí en abril para 32 asientos. Ahora me alegro de haberle permitido su elección de restaurante con familia como si este fuera el servicio que me prestaron me horrorizaría. Afortunadamente, la joven en la caja era cálida y agradable y mi marido dio propinas basadas en sus modales agradables. El otro caballero ni siquiera dijo gracias o adiós. Me temo que no es lo suficientemente bueno en el mercado actual.

18/02/2025: WOW! What’s not to like. Myself and partner were passing through Monkstown early Sunday evening and spotted Osteria…not going to lie the name and message on the chalkboard drew us in. We love to happen upon gems like this one. And we were not disappointed, a warm welcome by Mr Long into a beautiful and charming restaurant. The early bird menu runs til closing and the la carte is extensive, excellent choices of wines, beers & cocktails from a delightful bar. Several locals came arrived after us and it’s easy to see why they choose Osteria as their favourite restaurant. Food was devine, that home cooked taste and we left not a morsel. 3 courses each, bottle of Pelegrino and two fine glasses of Merlot came in at €90. We love to dine out and agreed Osteria 99 is by far the best new addition to our favourite restaurants, food was well presented and flavourful, cooked to perfection and the addition of a tasty pre-appetiser was lovely, and despite being from north county Dublin we will 100% be back with friends very soon. Thanks Mr Long & team.

25/12/2024: Came here for Christmas Eve. It was properly the worst meal I have had in my life. The food was clearly frozen and re heated, absolutely nothing was fresh. We had a mixture of differnt plates the ravioli had no taste to it what so ever. The veal was a tiny slither of veal and batter and came with what we described it as spaghetti hoops, we also had the seafood paella it was clearly frozen. There was 6 of us and we all left after our mains because the food was that bad. I was so disappointed as I have heard great things about here but it was awful. The wine was lovely and the staff were fantastic and the service was great but the food was absolutely disgusting.

06/03/2025: Got a takeaway from La Locadina last night, it was 10/10 across the board. Delicious food, great value for money as the portions were massive! (We're literally eating it again for dinner tonight as leftovers, there was that much ). Great delivery service and food arrived piping hot even though it came from Wicklow town to Rathdrum. Can't recommend enough, also go the extra on your order and get a dessert with your main, we got the profiteroles and chocolate pear tart and both were delicious.

21/02/2025: We had Al Prosciutto Cotto pizza and Affumicata smokey pizza. Both amazing and I haven't eaten such a nice dough for a while.

17/03/2025: I worked for them as a freelancer, it took them ages to pay me and plus, salary was 13.50€ per hour and they paid 10€ per hour to me. After that i all sending emails and calls but without any answers. Worst employers ever!!! I would not recommend this place to anyboday for work!

28/03/2025: Wonderfully situated chipper. Great selection and deals on menu. Food is piping hot and fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food served with a smile! Has a table and chairs inside along with benches outside to sit and enjoy the amazing food.

19/03/2025: Excellent outlet, having ordered few times quantity and quality is well good, comparing the same with Blanchardstown outlet. I drive down here, only because of generous portion. Usually ordering through their app, well directed. Recommended👍 Baconero chips 🌟& Deluxe kebab⭐️
