06/11/2025: I dropped into Pizzeria Del Capitano while in Tullamore and ended up having one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Elma, the host, was brilliant — funny, sharp, and full of energy. Her upbeat attitude really lifted the place, and she’s definitely someone worth keeping around. Great food, great craic — can’t ask for much more.

The owner and his wife were incredible people to share a conversation with, and the food and atmosphere were unmatched. Can’t wait to return, with love, from Texas!

09/12/2025: I’ve been here a few times and I keep forgetting how great a spot it is. The service is fantastic from really friendly staff. The food is absolutely delicious, cooked fresh and I’ve yet to have something off the menu that I didn’t finish in almost record time. I highly recommend this place, which is slightly off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. Try the chicken lasagne (Lasagne Pollo) - it sounds like it doesn’t make sense - but it definitely does! 😍🤤 (Note a few tables in the walkway are a little tight so if needed, perhaps ask for one with space when reserving, but we didn’t have any issues. Will be back again….and again!)

10/12/2025: Angelina’s Dublin was an absolute delight from the moment I stepped in. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. I began my meal with the Crab Flatbread, which was incredibly flavorful and unique. It was a must-try dish. For my main course, I opted for the Cod, which was cooked to perfection. However, the side of garlic fries was a bit of a letdown. They were overly dry and lacked flavor. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and elegant, and the service was impeccable.

02/11/2025: 7 family members attended Sirocco’s last night for an engagement party. Our meals were delicious and all came out together. Everyone enjoyed it so much. The staff were very nice and attentive. I could only highly recommend this lovely restaurant for a gathering. Thank you very much 😉

17/10/2025: Whenever I’m in the area, I take the opportunity to stop by La Dolce Vita, and they keep surprising me every time. This time we tried the focaccia salsiccia as a starter and a pasta boscaiola for the main course—both excellent, in flavor and presentation. On top of that, the service was impeccable, especially from our waitress, who, despite being quite busy, remained friendly, attentive, and always smiling. A place that keeps raising the bar.

20/10/2025: The taste of the food was good overall. However, the chicken needed to be cooked a bit more — it wasn’t raw, but not quite well-done or tender. It was also topped with something slightly burnt, which I could smell before tasting. The vegetables in both dishes were undercooked and still quite crunchy, and the French fries were only warm instead of hot. The staff seemed stressed and didn’t smile, which made the atmosphere less welcoming. When I asked to change our table, one of the team members just waved his hand and told me to ask someone else. I didn’t feel comfortable during the visit. Although we received a 10% discount, we chose to return it as a tip — hoping it helps the team improve their service in the future.

01/12/2025: This place has gone downhill since the era of Fat Freddys. Chewy chicken, arrabiata was more like sweet and sour sauce than traditional spicy Italian. Waiting staff friendly but food needs to return to previous standards. I didn't appreciate reggaeton music playing all of the time.

30/11/2025: The waitress, Emanuela, is very kind and polite, and friendly with everyone. The Italian food is very consistent with authentic Italian cuisine and is very good. Recommended by an Italian.

26/10/2025: I would consider myself a regular customer of the claddagh restaurant and what makes me a "regular customer " is simple. Quality. Quality food, quality service. I have sampled virtually every choice on the menu over the past few years and have never left disappointed. As they say in sporting circles, " form is temporary, class is permanent ". BTW, im not connected with management, staff, in any way other than a relationship built on wonderful dining experiences. My wife and I love the place and will continue to tell anyone with ears about the claddagh restaurant.

16/10/2025: Dropped into the Claddagh after seeing a few “decent” reviews. We arrived just after opening, yet three dishes on the menu were already unavailable — not a great start. “The best fish & chips in Blarney”… Bold claim. I had to see for myself. The verdict? This title could only be accurate under two circumstances: 1. The Claddagh is the only place serving fish in Blarney. 2. The claim is quietly revised to “best fish goujon” — because what arrived was a tiny portion that under the right lighting, could have been mistaken for a length of dental floss. To make matters worse, the peas listed on the menu were missing entirely. I’d normally raise this with staff, but by the time I noticed, the meagre 2–3 bites of fish had already vanished. At least the little that was served seemed fresh and was decently cooked. Meanwhile, the Asian/Chinese options looked suspiciously like they’d wandered in from the Chinese restaurant next door. My girlfriend’s chilli chicken was significantly better than my “fish & chips” and actually resembled a meal. In short: don’t come here for the fish. If you do venture in, stick to the Asian dishes. Otherwise, save yourself the disappointment.
