The best restaurantsof italian

08/12/2024: Came here with a friend on her suggestion as was on her list, found the service to be ok and very much felt we were A) being rushed to get out ASAP and B) that when we asked the waiter something we were being an annoyance to him. Food was ok - the arranchini was a highlight for starter along with the meatballs. I got the nduja pasta dish to start with and it was ok. Wasn't as spicy as I expected but solid 5/10. The wine was very good, we got the house red and went down well. We all got pizza for main 's and can't complain at all about it. The nduja one was my favorite

06/12/2024: I travelled for 6 hrs to get there and I will be doing it regularly, just for the food! I hadn't been here for many years as I live outside Dublin now. I was there on Thursday last and I haven't tasted food as well made in over a decade! I had forgotten what really good food tasted like. I had the RAVIOLI AI FUNGHI (minus the walnuts). (Mushroom ravioli, parmigiano fonduta, crushed walnuts, truffled olive oil.) It was so good! So fresh and the flavours were perfect! The staff were very friendly and helpful. This place transported me to Italy, it made me fall in love with food again.

10/12/2024: We booked this just for drinks but I wish I had booked a meal as the food looked amazing. We had so much fun entering (please don't change) it's a great experience and something entertaining. Loved the drinks menu, staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recomemd when in dublin

28/11/2024: What a great speakeasy experience - the bar is hidden down a closed laneway just off of Wicklow St and getting there is just the start of The Little Pig’s immersion. Very comprehensive menu, cocktails to please all tastes, staff are more than obliging to find the right cocktail for your tastes/mood. Highly recommend visiting this absolute Dublin gem. 🍸

12/12/2024: Storm Daragh was howling outside when myself and 4 friends arrived for our annual xmass night out to La Fontana wet and cold.Then manager seated us and offered drinks myself and a friend were designated driver's so weren't drinking ,she asked for a zero beer and me a zero wine ,to which he replied no such thing and dismissed me from the order .I felt offended he could have made a joke but left me feeling stupid.I worked in hospitality for yrs serving tables never would you make a customer feel like this with there friends.When ordering my main course we were told about the specials and I danced the monkfish in tempura batter,I asked what it was served with and they said mashed potatoes ,I was happy and ordered .It arrived swimming in a chunky tomatoes sauce/ soup the batter was wet and soggy and stone cold,I was disgusted tried to get his attention to complain ,he was to busy seating other customers and ignored me,couldn't eat it disgusting,my friendsasked would there be a shot of lemonchello at the end like last yr,his answered was it all depends on the price of your bill,enough said Obnoxious man will never darken the door of his restaurant again,I know I'm just one but why ,I'm easygoing smiley person no agenda thank you for horrible experience on a dreadful night.DO BETTER DOESN'T TAKE MUCH .

08/12/2024: Excellent mussels and calamari starters. Nice room. Good staff. Friendly and attentive. We had a beautiful time and we would recommend for families, baby friendly and couples.

24/11/2024: Really good tasty pizzas with generous toppings. Was in on a Sunday and the restaurant was buzzing which is a v good sign. Good service throughout. Will be back!

29/11/2024: Absolutely gorgeous food and the atmosphere there is so bright and positive. You feel relaxed but alive at the same time. I loved it, it was a great place to eat in for a city break. We'll definitely go back when we'll visit the town again

05/10/2024: Amazing food! I think I offended chef when I asked for butter and olive oil for the bread. Hard to take the Minnesota out of me! Ordered the egg plant as an appetizer and the carbonara for the main along with a bottle of Nero D’Avola from Sicilia! Yes, I know it should have been white but not a fan of Italian whites. Glorious dinner! Must go to!!!!

05/12/2024: I called in here off chance after a long day at zoo awiting laundry...it was wet and cold outside ..staff were welcoming and friendly so much so I got two coffees and a toastie ,got warm again and enjoyed the trendy relaxed vibe .This Aussie quite possibly thinks it was the best latte she had in Ireland 🇮🇪 😀.

04/12/2024: Loved the pasta and the sangria! One Society had an amazing service with kind and friendly staff. And of course, had booked it earlier solely because of the warm ambience. A really good experience✨
