01/08/2026: The place is amazing, Food was delicious. I ordered the chef's special Ragú Napoletano and Sara, José and all the staff were so kind. Everything was so good.

20/07/2026: I was spending a few days in Bray and looking for a place to eat, and I definitely found the right spot. The staff was friendly even though I didn't have a reservation and the place was full. They offered me a table for 45 minutes, which was perfect. The lasagna was delicious. I will definitely return to Bray.

12/09/2026: Ordered the Special Seafood Pasta, delicious and pleasantly surprised on the delivery! Our waiter Chris friendly and had us laughing . We have a new cousin across the Atlantic Ocean!

08/09/2026: Amazing place, bruschetta, cannoli the best, fab wine to complement dishes. Steak is the best tasted. Lovely staff, always so accommodating to our family. Toilets spotless. I never review anywhere but we have been dining here for years and my daughter has a peanut allergy-100% safe for her, which why we always go here when in Kilkenny. Ciao 🩷

The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. the price is really reasonable too. We will definitely be back next time we are in kilkenny and would highly recommend Italian connection

Pizzas are amazing, truly delicious. Very nice lad serving us yesterday, reminds me of an actor Daniel Bruhl😉 5 stars

01/09/2026: The food was delicious. The restaurant was quite empty, but we were served very quickly and courteously. We received a small complimentary treat from the kitchen and our food arrived promptly. I can't comment on the pizza, but the pasta was very tasty. If we were in the area more often, we would definitely eat here more often.

31/07/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped at this small restaurant tucked away in an alley. Excellent, authentic pasta carbonara and cannelloni. Quite generous portions. Pleasant and attentive service. I recommend it.

20/08/2026: We went at a quiet mid afternoon and had a peaceful lovely meal. They cater for GF diets and all pasta dishes and have GF pizza bases. A truly relaxing experience with great unobtrusive staff.

16/08/2026: I recently went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend. I ordered a salad and my friend had a pizza. The food was good overall, so I would give it 4 stars. Unfortunately, the service really let the experience down. The waitresses kept coming over and asking if we were ready to order, even though we clearly weren’t. It became quite irritating and felt very unprofessional. We got the impression that they simply wanted us to order and leave as quickly as possible. The restaurant was also very busy, which made it difficult to have a conversation and made the atmosphere feel quite overwhelming. Overall, the food was good, but the service made the experience much less enjoyable than it could have been.

09/09/2026: The food is really delicious and flavorful! No mainstream choices. Highly recommended because the service is also top-notch!! If I have to mention a point for improvement: Open kitchen, so due to poor ventilation, we left smelling strongly of food.

01/09/2026: Always seems to be very busy even early in the week…food is always exceptionally good and prices are reasonable. Only downside is the young lady who clearly doesn’t value customers…on our first visit she turned us away because we hasn’t made a booking despite the fact that there were lots of empty tables and the next visit she had tried to us the same approach but lucky for us we had made a reservation…

Mario with his eagle and ursids took of the eternal tree's overflowing sap. Eternally-recurring, eternally-returning is this tree! Like the rising-falling sun, this tree too becomes weary of its plenitude and seeks to send forth its wonders, so they might prosper through the workings of another beast. O what would this tree be without Mario, his eagle and his ursids! Without their yearning snouts gazing upon its sky-reaching stature! Behold! Mario too becomes weary of his abundance! Like a hive that has gathered to much honey – he needs cupped hands outstretched to take it! He: the cup that wants to overflow! He: Mario! shall send pouring his light 'til the hungry revel in their plenty, and the wise in their folly! Thus began Mario's downgoing, to the town named 'Piety'. When Mario arrived in the valley village with his pots and pans and plants a plenty, the people thought him strange and unsettling. They turned their shoulders to him and huddling in their heaps they muttered thus to one another, and blinked: 'Who is this vile cook who comes from the Ursid peaks?... where those bilious bruins dwell...', 'Yes who! Who is this fool who laughs behind his pots of sanguine sauce? Who dances with his pans, as though instead of pans they were indeed musicians?'. Then an elder near the centre of the huddle piped up, ''And those pots you see, they do not cook our Pious stew. He cooks a stew quite different, Nay! in fact! it is no stew! Let alone a Pious one!' Thus spoke the elder, blinking. And with this the disgruntled mass of Pious folk departed from that scene with a sententious sense of accomplishment. Come evening, when the town had grown tired of its labours, and was quite dormant, a few Piousites with keen nostrils, snook about the town of Piety. Dipping from inky shadow to shadow, they followed that new and curious scent, 'til at longsolast they found Mario at his work, roasting a great boar on his Olympic flame. In raucous frenzy, they greeted this strange foreigner, making Mario merry gifts of herbs and liquors. A set of drunken carpenters carried forth a table long and sturdy, and the potters came clinking down the lane with plates round and fat. All was jovial and drunken! Articulating the senseless sound and merriment, a composed Piousite thumped the hem of her blouse, and spoke thus, 'Noble Stranger! Long have we, in this town of Piety, eaten of boiled meats and valley stew, which neither settle nor discomfort the body. And Long! Long have i longed for a fatty proliferation! For a great abundance! For an impious indulgence! a dance! and a bowl of something flavourful! We beseech of you, O strange chef, a great feast!' And thus began the banquet!
