05/12/2024: I was so looking forward to returning to Oliveto for our daughter's pre-wedding celebration. Unfortunately we were forced to cancel due to the rude and inappropriate behavior of the owner. We made a reservation for our group in September and a few days prior to arriving we thought it would be helpful to a busy restaurant to pre-order our pizza starters since we have 4 children in our group. The owner was extremely rude and used inappropriate language when we wanted to be considerate to them.
We will never patronize this establishment again and would not recommend them in the future. There are many other places where my business would be appreciated.
01/12/2024: An excellent atmosphere, welcoming, happy, helpful staff. Delicious food, beautifully presented. It was a pleasure to be there looking out over the bay on a beautiful evening in wonderful company.
Definitely be back.

03/12/2024: We were told this was a great place to eat , it wasn’t !
I had Minestrone soup , a misnomer. It was luke warm diluted tomato juice with hard veg bits and a lot of pasta, server forgot any bread . My husband had lasagna which he deemed totally tasteless. . We left our food asked for the bill and paid with 20 % ( joke ) discount . Went and had very tasty soup in the same building at the Pepper Pot … half the price and 100% more flavour .

24/11/2024: Really enjoyed the pizza, wings were 6 out 10.
The roast potatoes were decent, they came with sour cream. It's very clean, the staff were friendly. The restaurant is more eat and go than sit down for a meal, but it works really well for that type of place. Haven't tried lunch, nice selection of cakes.

11/11/2024: As a walk in group of 4 we were just in time to get a table as it was a Saturday night. Any later than 6pm and I doubt we would have been successful. Service was very good by all the staff who looked after us. We ordered 3 pizzas and the salmon teriyaki. Pizzas were very good, but the salmon was the highlight.

28/11/2024: Decided to pop in while passing by and luckily they had a table empty which they assigned to me right away.
Food was very good both portion and taste wise. Staff were helpful despite the restaurant being so busy.
Overall I can see why the place is liked by locals in contrast to the other Italian restaurants around so would recommend.

25/10/2024: Excellent meal & excellent service. I ordered a rare steak & wow I’m a steak lover but this was exceptional. Salad, baby potatoes, sautéed onions along with a glass of Merlot. I don’t often eat alone but was made to feel very welcome & comfortable. Unable to finish meal but have lunch sorted for tomorrow! Top class, thank you to the chef Gregory and waiting staff. A special thanks to Silvane, she has the X factor!
21/10/2024: This was an unbelievably very good restaurant. Heading into winter on the West Coast of Ireland, the food, the service, and the atmosphere including the playlist was simply sublime. I’m not being paid to write this review, but it was probably one of the best meals I have eaten out in a very long time. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour; from the steak to the asparagus to the potatoes, bread and peppercorn sauce I don’t think I have tasted better.

25/10/2024: Freddy's is a pizza and pasta restaurant. I got the Spaghetti Bolgenese and it was very tasty! The waitress was very nice and friendly. The service was quick I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some tasty pizza or pasta!!

03/11/2024: My partner and I stopped into harrisons on our honeymoon, the staff where so incredibly friendly and helpful, declan was an absolute gent. My partner is a severe coeliac and it was a wonderful experience to be put so at ease by all the staff not to mention the selection of food that was made avalible to her. She had the gluten free pizza which she absolutely loved said it's the best pizza she's had since her diagnosis. Would highly reccomend and next time we are in the area we will most definetly be returning

01/12/2024: My family’s favorite and most memorable meal in all of Ireland when we visited in May! We were seated without reservations and both the owner and staff were very friendly. It’s rare that we all finish every last bite of our meals, but it was a must here. My brother said it’s the best pizza he’s ever had. They also accommodated my gluten free allergy—the pasta pomodoro is phenomenal! A must try when you’re spending time on the east coast.
