30/04/2025: Authentic Italian experience, lovely staff, amazing food!

25/04/2025: My husband and I went to Grano in April. Having booked in early January we were really looking forward to the experience based on the reviews. We were NOT disappointed! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The food was amazing! The different plates (nibbles, starters, mains) were so typically Italian, we felt we were back in Italy. I had olives & deep fried meatballs as starter and delicious Ravioli parcels for mains. My husband's starter was Scaldanduja (a spicy sausage which he thoroughly enjoyed and his main course was a pasta dish, with sausage, and a tomato based sauce. The atmosphere in Grano is exciting - a great ‘Buzz’ to the place, Our server Luna was really friendly (as were all the staff). Luna was very patient helping us choose a wine which would pair well with the food we had ordered (not an easy task as they have a truly extensive, wine list with wines from all parts of Italy). The bottle she recommended was delicious and perfect with our food. Dessert was ‘yummy’. I chose a Choc Coffee Mousse with Amaretto while my husband had an Almond sponge with white chocolate ganache and a Bergamot sauce. I’m not sure of the correct title of either of these desserts but they were both delicious. A very definite 5 stars! We can’t wait to go again and look forward to making another reservation SOON!

01/02/2025: My favorite cafe in Dublin! It's lovely in all aspects. Not pretentious, not "posh", not artificial. Just amazing panino and cakes served by an Italian couple.

06/05/2025: Fabulous little gem of a restaurant on the northside of Dublin. Chilled vibe, friendly staff and extremely helpful. Some true Sardinia dishes....all of them tasty as hell. And to make my total nite they serve Mirto Rosso which transports me back there and puts the biggest smile on my face! Can't wait to go back to Wallaces Asti 😍

05/03/2025: Ordered two fish pies dissatisfied with the size of the pie and mostly potatoes and very little fish vegetables were forgotten and when they arrived were uncooked and bland waiting staff very friendly and good atmosphere

02/04/2025: My new favourite restaurant in Dublin. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere, I can see now why it's always impossible to get a table. The crab tostada was fantastic but the sharing steak was one of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.

01/04/2025: Absolutamente sorprendido por la comida y el personal. La comida era fantástica, en particular la pasta, mi pareja y yo pedimos fuera del menú de chefs y adoramos el entrante y la pasta pre principal. Solo una pequeña queja fue que el entrante y la pasta pre principal era tan increíble que cuando llegó el principal solo era bueno tan ligeramente baja la calidad de la comida. Para ser claros, esto iba de excepcional a grande en lugar de bueno a malo. Es tan difícil quejarse. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Esperamos con interés nuestra próxima visita.

27/03/2025: Our work culture club of six recently dined at La Piazza in Bray, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or colleagues. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We started with chicken wings and salad—both fresh and well-seasoned. For mains, we tried a variety of dishes, including wood-fired pizzas and pasta. Every dish was flavorful, made with high-quality ingredients, and served in generous portions. The wine selection was impressive, and the staff was helpful in recommending pairings. The ambiance was lively yet cozy, allowing us to enjoy great conversations. Overall, La Piazza offers delicious, authentic Italian food at reasonable prices with excellent service. We will definitely be back.

17/05/2025: Booked table for 2 at 6:00pm, arrived 15 min early. They offered seating down in basement. We asked if we could wait for open table upstairs. We were told that would not be available and we should have made the request at booking. Unbelievable, the place has good food reviews but service is subpar. Try Toscana City Centre Italian Restaurant around the corner for a good Italian meal in Dublin.

29/04/2025: Food was very disappointing. Starter average. Mains where not very nice, too much oil and sea food was not at its freshest. Wine was not fizzy . Had a bad toilet experience and hour after . Really not impressed. Came here a 2 years ago and it was great . I feel this place needs a rethink.

18/05/2025: We booked the wrong restaurant but I'm glad we did and I'm giving this 5 stars as we have a lovely meal and the staff were great. The menu is wide but not so wide as to wonder how they make so much food.

06/05/2025: Excellent meal here while visiting Tralee, it had been a birthday in our group the day prior and the waiter surprised us with a piece of cake- a lovely touch! Great service and really tasty food, would highly recommend!
