15/11/2025: We ordered aioli, fried calamari for starters, diavola , fumé and quadra-cheese pizzas and a bottle of tuscano red wine. And the pizza was really fresh and yum!! The service was truely very good. The staff was really nice, kind and understanding. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Loved the overall experience ❤️❤️❤️

14/11/2025: I’m a 102kg male that likes to eat a lot of food. If you want an honest review for a restaurant then please read this! The pizza was literally the most sentimental thing I’ve ever put in my mouth! The pasta was the most succulent experience! And to top it off the tiramisu was something to cry about! Unreal dinner and I’ll be back for sure!! Thank you to junita for exceptional service. I will be thinking about this meal for the rest of my life.

11/11/2025: These people have no shame. Microwaveble meals are of better quality than what I've been served here. Food arived less than 5 minutes after ordering, I'll let you figure out why that might be... The bread was at least 3 days old, the sauce was runnier than water, pasta was of the worst quality imaginable, the rest of ingridients were of the shelf prediced quality. Not once I was asked how did I like my food, again, no shame. Please do yourself a favour and don't come near this place, especially for pasta dishes. Edit: Get a negative feedback, don't acknowledge most issues mentioned, lie about your service, and call the entire review fake. As I said, no shame.

12/12/2025: I was out with a group from work recently, and there were a few other Christmas parties in as well, so the place had a great buzz. The food was lovely — everyone at our table was happy with what they got — and the staff were genuinely pleasant, attentive, and doing their best on a busy night. The one downside was the noise level. The acoustics in the restaurant are very poor, and with multiple groups talking over each other, the din became almost unbearable at times. It made conversation difficult, even across the table. It’s a pity, because everything else about the evening was spot on. If Al Muretto improved the acoustics, it would turn a good night into a great one. As it stands, the food and service are excellent, but be prepared for a very loud room when it’s busy — especially around Christmas.

10/11/2025: I booked here for 7PM on Saturday for myself and my partner. We had a great time from the moment we walked in, until we left for our cinema showing at the nearby lighthouse cinema. I ordered the striploin steak which was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the side portion of home made chips had the perfect texture. My partner ordered the penne arriabata, her favourite pasta and really enjoyed it saying the flavours were perfectly balanced. An overall great experience and I look forward to returning in the near future.

02/11/2025: We had a beautiful family birthday lunch today in That’s Amore. Our family always chooses this special restaurant when we celebrate. We were treated with such a great kindness, and each person loved their choice of food and drink ❤️ Ricardo, was professional, smiling, and attentive, to each of us, using light humour when appropriate., adding a lightness to our meal. I’m sorry I did not get the young waitress’s name, but she was equally friendly and helpful. Thank you to both of them for a truly special Sunday afternoon. Rose 🌹

06/12/2025: Excellent range of coffees including complex filter coffees. Quiet and secluded. Hard to not be tempted by their delicious cakes and buns. Warm friendly service. Wish it was bigger but that’s part of the appeal too. My fav coffee shop on Galway bar none.

28/11/2025: These guys know what they’re doing. Excellent latte that had no need for sugar or syrup. I even picked up a bag of the same beans used in their espresso. My wife tried their ube matcha and it was also delightful.

13/12/2025: We arrived (6persons) completely unprepared and without a booking. The floor manager greeted us so warmly and was able to accommodate us, despite being in under pressure in a full house of Christmas groups. Couldn't believe our luck, as it was our brothers birthday. Food was perfect and came out so fast. Great price and no fuss what so ever. They even surprised my brother with ice cream, a candle and sang him happy birthday, completely unexpected and so appreciated. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome and relaxed meal with lovely service. Will be going out of my way to go backsoon.... (I'll be sure to book ahead from now on)

Friendly professional staff, many of whom have in place for several years which gives a very pleasing familiarity. This restaurant has been serving Athlone for almost 20 years and it’s about time I paid tribute to its consistent excellence

12/11/2025: BOOK OR STOP at this place. After days of junk food (it's a good thing), a healthy and exceptional lunch! With a 3-year-old daughter, we needed Italian food: here we are. Exquisite tagliatelle, amazing gnocchi, and super carbonara. Truly, everything was incredibly exceptional! Excellent selection of wines and desserts. Exquisite, attentive, and professional staff. These are the REAL places that fly the Italian flag high. Thank you

03/12/2025: Unfortunately I have to say that food was tasteless and didn't resemble real Italian food which is full of different flavours.We were late due to traffic congestion but they kept our table for us.Service was really nice and friendly.Restaurant is tiny. Unfortunately food wasn't meating expectations and it was priced on more expensive end. I wouldn't recommend neither wouldn't visit again
