22/02/2026: Use to order from here every week nearly , until valentines night we got a take away , I am 6 months pregnant and got my usual spag and meatballs My partner got chicken wings as we got home and ate my partner expressed his concerns that his wings were pink ( I did not have any luckily) fast forward to 2/3 hours later my partner was projectile Vomiting in the toilet and had diahorrea until Sunday evening we emailed the restaurant asap on the Sunday or Monday and got a response back regarding a phone call and a manager called him the Wednesday or Thursday evening to which took absolutely no blame and said the suppliers cooks all the wings and they deep fry them, there was no apology or nothing and manager kept telling my partner food poisoning does not kick in so soon which is false information. The managers manner was absolutely appalling and we did not even want to leave a review at all up until we received that phone call we’re no accountability was taken, and my partner was gaslighted and told good position doesn’t happen so soon. The phone call was ended and he was told “you’ll be called back tomorrow” that did not happen and an email came after with a 20 euro refund offered. As stated above the last thing we wanted to do was to leave a review for a small business especially because the restaurant accommodated us more than once for a last minute booking etc but the managers attitude on the phone was beyond unprofessional.

05/02/2026: €40 for 2 pizzas and a bag of chips. Outrageously priced for what is bang average pizza. Dough is grand but far far far too much cheese.

09/10/2025: This was one of the best pizzas I can remember. We ordered the 12” Calabrese pizza and a side salad that was more than my wife and I could eat. The pizza crust was very good, the cheese was Italian mozzarella and whole black olives came on the pizza instead of little dried out olive slices. The owners who operate Numero Uno are from Italy just south of Rome and were very nice.

13/02/2026: Ordered delivery so can’t say much on service and atmosphere! But the lasagna is the worst lasagna I’ve ever had it was awfully watery and no real taste of it at all horrible! The chips were hard and not salted at all the açaí bowl had 3 tiny pieces of strawberry on it and the chocolate and granola were very bad quality! And I don’t even know what to say about the garlic bread it wasn’t garlic bread at all! Used the love the food here so much don’t know what happened

30/12/2025: I got the best acai bowl here, the portion was very generous and i felt so full afterwards! On second occasion i came to get a hot chocolate and it was amazing. A cozy little place

08/03/2026: Looks like they don't have a stove for pizzas, you can probably have a better and not frozen pizza in Domino. And saying they don't HAVE tap water? Good luck people in Athlone but you deserve better restaurant.

31/01/2026: This restaurant is located in a quiet village where the service is super friendly and attentive. As a foreigner, I felt welcome and comfortable with the peaceful atmosphere. My partner ordered the Mafioso pizza (€14.50) and I ordered the Quattro Stagioni pizza, both of which were delicious.

17/01/2026: I wanted to explore coffee in that lane so i find of O&F to try for. Very good and kind manager to talk but talking about Barista who was really rude. I asked for latte and he made mistake to make it. Showing bad face reaction while serving. Comeon this is not good way even he didn’t apologise for the same. I needed plain milk(old bottle) but he mixed that with the light milk(opened new bottle) right infront of me. As i said him to change it he was like all are the same it doesn’t matter. Even i was a barista not a kid. Even coffee wasn’t right by temperature it felt cold. Just improve skills i would suggest for customer service. This country is really welcoming,warm and people are really kind so i expect the same from Barista. Thankyou no hard feelings.

28/07/2025: Absolutely magnificent restaurant experience at Sands Mediterranean in Clontarf. The food here is to die for...we ordered the best Frutti di Mare pizza ever with the most delicious seafood toppings, the wonderful baked hake with pasta and the freshly battered fish and chips. The garlic pizza starter went down a treat and the triple cooked chips and garlic mayo are superb. Mick and his staff are the best and so welcoming and accommodating. This was another really top notch dining experience and I highly recommend putting Sands Mediterranean on your list of restaurants to try in Clontarf. 5 stars all day long!

25/01/2026: Too much garlic in everything, even pizza had garlic flavour, rocket leaves on DaVinci pizza were far from being fresh, poor selection of drinks. Will not have food there again.

03/10/2025: The Coach House Hotel is in a good area close to Galway and has pubs, cafe and gas station within a few steps. We had an issue with our room as the drains were completely clogged for the sink and shower which made it very hard to use and our heat wasn’t working. We mentioned this to the staff in the evening and again to a staff on the overnight shift. No one offered help and asked us to ask someone else on the next shift. We only stayed one night however I would say the service is very poor here due to our room issues. The breakfast is also an additional 15 euros per person which we opted not to get.

17/01/2026: My favourite restaurant to go to whether it's a family meal or out with the girls. Everyone enjoys their meal. The service is great. The atmosphere is relaxed. Great value and BYO is a bonus. Grande wins hands down every time!

07/12/2025: Was a small and beautiful restaurant. The best was the food best pizza ever, Very generous toping and the attention was super. Myself and family definitely comeback there soon.

27/11/2025: The restaurant was small, pleasantly decorated, and had nice background music. A big plus was the ability to choose the size of the pizza, which was thin-crust and freshly made. Another plus was that you could choose a salad instead of fries with the lasagna. The lasagna itself was just okay, ordinary, nothing special. Overall, a pleasant time at an Italian restaurant.

10/02/2026: Stopped in here to get Spaghetti Bolognese and meat balls. Very tasty
