02/04/2025: Good Italian food menu. Generous portions. Pleasant staff. Well worth a stop for lunch to take time out from shopping.

02/04/2025: We went for shopping in the village for Mother’s Day and I decided to treat her to lunch. The food was nice. We got the Prawns to start and the Steak. The mimosas were not great at all. Tasted like really cheap Prosecco. However the service was absolutely shocking. The staff could not have been less interested, took forever to get any of their attention as they would only work around the front of the restaurant. I called a gentleman over to order some drinks and he was practically half walking away when I was speaking which was incredibly rude. My mom asked for some water and the waitress looked at me for approval, completely disregarding my moms request. I would think they would be a bit more smiley as it was Mother’s Day to create a nice atmosphere. Yeah I would not go back. The staff and atmosphere really influence your experience regardless of the food being good.

06/04/2025: Cibo fresco cafe advertises itself as an authentic Italian restaurant but there were a few things that pointed away from that claim during my experience dining here today. I tried the meat lover pizza and unfortunately the quality just wasn't there! I'm used to eating a pizza at a great restaurant and being able to savour every slice because it's so tasty but unfortunately the dough and pizza sauce were just tasteless, they also overloaded the pizza with two different kinds of cheese and put lasagna mix in the middle as a beef topping. Wouldn't reccomend eating here if you want an authentic experience with great tasting pizza cooked the traditional way. Food is just oily and tasteless. Service was fine, the guy working in the kitchen was very helpful. Atmosphere was interesting, again a lot of furniture and decor that doesn't match and in general too much going on with lights and flags and signs everywhere. A bit overstimulating.

16/03/2025: Upstairs at a party , couldnt believe the prices but hey listen its known to be pricey, but 3 diluted blacurrants for three children €7.50 thats un heard of so does it mean a dash of diluted is €2.50 never again and no sweets for the kids as you arent allowed bring in food ????

14/02/2025: Bad pizza, stay away Looked like someone sat on it, too small for said size, cold when picked up, mozzarella on 4cheese wasn't stringy. Taste wise were worse than frozen valu pizza.

03/02/2025: I really wouldn’t be a food snob and hate to complain but this restaurant was a let down. The olives were gone off, consistency of black mush with an off putting taste. The 9” pizza is depressing and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. The waitress (although lovely) forgot our drinks order and we had to ask for them again. Considering the price you’d expect decent food with your drinks served before having to re-ask 25 minutes later. I’ll let the picture speak for itself.

16/03/2025: Being a local I’ve been in and out of this place all my life at different times. Lately the food has hit an all-time low and on Friday night it couldn’t have been worse. Fresh cod and chips …… fish was sludgy slop in an awful batter, the chips weren’t too bad but nothing amazing. all this for just over €13 (no drink) . I hate saying it but the cod was really, really poor. It seems to concentrate more on ice cream and fancy coffees these days. Again, staff are very nice and it’s a friendly place, but the fish and chips are just not up to scratch anymore. I honestly cannot justify going here again

29/03/2025: So I am regular here during the week but this time I went up and asked for the water and there is a normally a lovely girl on there and the chef is lovely Now this time is on a Saturday which is today the food is good I have only had my starters I am still in the place and then I went up to get water and got roared at by this “manger “ in all black, blonde hair and she was roaring saying “SIT DOWN “ I was applauded and I honestly wouldn’t come back if I heard she was here not going to lie normally good but this woman just upset my night

23/03/2025: Parant du Connemara et de retour vers Dublin, nous nous sommes arrêtés à ce restaurant. Arrivés à l'ouverture (12h), Service assez rapide, sans l'être de trop. Plat / dessert pour nous 3 (2adultes+1 enfant de 11 ans). Bien pour le repas et l'accueil.
