12/11/2025: We randomly picked this restaurant when we were staying along the coast in Portmarnock. The booking was easy and last minute and on arrival we were greated by friendly staff. Our food arrived extremely quickly, piping hot and freshly cooked. Everything was very tasty and enjoyable. The house red was also very nice. The restaurant is warm, cosy and tastefully decorated. I would certainly visit again the next time I travel in this area. Give it a try you won't be disappointed

03/12/2025: Usually Great, but a Hygiene Issue This Time I’ve always enjoyed ordering from this takeaway—both the food and the service have consistently been very good. However, on this occasion I found a small eyebrow hair in my meal. I understand that mistakes can happen, but it was disappointing and did affect the experience. I hope this was just an isolated incident and that extra care will be taken with food handling going forward. I’ve had many positive orders in the past, so I’m hoping things return to the usual high standard next time.

25/11/2025: Love their chicken wraps when I want something quick and not too heavy. Big beef burger meal is savage when you want a treat. Sound bunch of staff. Good food, clean and bright kitchen and good service. What more can you ask from a chipper?

12/12/2025: I’ve been a customer since 101 took over. Initially (for the first few years) they were the best, food and staff were amazing. But, the last year the standard has gone down. Such a pity. Might give it a miss for a good while after this evening. Worst cod ever. From the best to the worst so fast? Disappointed to say the least.
