01/06/2026: Pepe’s certainly did not disappoint me with their Neapolitan pizza, hospitality and atmosphere. They took me back in time by serving me a pizza that is just like when I was in Naples, Italy. My hat is off to them and offering such an incredible experience!

12/07/2026: Very friendly service. The food arrived quickly. Unfortunately, it was the worst pizza I've had in years. The dough was like a regular supermarket pizza base. All the ingredients literally fell off the pizza, along with the cheese. The pizza was dripping with grease, and even though the ingredients looked fresh, the soggy dough ruined everything. 2/5 food, 5/5 service. The beer wasn't cold either, or rather, it was just pulled out of a draft. The restrooms are in dire need of renovation...they're terrible.

06/06/2026: Probably the best tomato soup (I've ever tasted! It was actually an appetizer, but was a whole meal in itself. And the risotto (Risotto alla Lupin) was delicious: rich in flavor, good consistency, perfect with chicken, piping hot and filling. I wasn't really going to have dessert, but that was until I saw the gelato counter... Wonderfully nice and attentive staff! And nice prices. Highly recommended!

21/07/2026: This has been my late night chilper for the past 7 years, and they now have installed strobe and lights and atuff, and there's no turning back. This will become more of a dancing hub than Electric. The lads are so freekin great in there! Ask for a Quad 4, with the old chicken way, tell them I sent ya, it won't disappoint.

15/05/2026: A very warm and attentive welcome. It was very pleasant. The elevator is a nice touch, as is the parking for guests (limited spaces). There's a restaurant within the hotel for breakfast and other meals, with the option of takeout or room service. The bedding is comfortable, the room is quite spacious, and the bathroom is a good size. It's perfect, 20 minutes from Galway. I would just mention the lack of natural light in the room (small and off-center window).

14/05/2026: Close to the bus stop for Galway, quiet, clean, excellent breakfast. Everything was perfect.

05/06/2026: Nice food when you can get it. Unfortunately for some reason despite calling for the last 45 minutes I have not been able to get through to order anything over the phone despite the website clearly saying it is open. Not really good enough.

14/07/2026: Its a hit or miss with the place, they do great pizza no doubt about that , but when it comes to their chips its a different story. My experience with the chips havent been great over the past few years , everytime I order them, I ask for salt , the regular sprinkle of salt is what I expect to be put on them , but instead I see a waterfall of salt sprayed onto my chips , making the chips unbearable to eat due to the amount of sodium present

14/04/2026: I've been a loyal customer for years and recently me and my friend keep experiencing stomach issues after the food , no matter the dish we always feel ill for a couple of days which has never happened to us before and it's sad because we love this takeaway and have been loyal for years, it might be the oil, I dont know though, but whatever it is it has to change, ive heard a few people had similar experiences

27/04/2026: Amazing food, always fresh always yummy, amazing staff, always friendly amazing drinks, cocktails, draft beer and Guinness. Coming here for 17 yrs and still love it. Great ladies nights of occasion and Xmas party nights.

13/06/2026: Very disappointing experience. I made a reservation for seven people through the restaurant’s website for 8:30 p.m. and received an email confirming that the reservation had been accepted. I replied immediately, thanking them and acknowledging the booking. When we arrived, the maître d’ informed us that we did not have a reservation. He asked how I had booked, and I explained it was through the website. He then told me that I had not responded to confirm the reservation. When I showed him my reply, sent only moments after receiving the confirmation email, he simply said he had been too busy to see it. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of accountability. There was no apology, no acknowledgement that this was their mistake, and no attempt to find a solution. When I asked what time they could seat us, the response was, “We’re very busy, maybe 9:30.” When we explained that was too late, he simply turned and walked away. Again, there was no apology, no effort to help, and no concern that a party of seven with a confirmed reservation had just been turned away. Fortunately, we crossed the road to Al Fresco, where the staff went out of their way to accommodate us despite us having no reservation. They found us a table, treated us exceptionally well throughout the evening, and turned what could have been a ruined night into a fantastic experience. We happily spent €450 there and left a €50 tip because the service was outstanding. As local residents, we were genuinely surprised by how poorly this situation was handled by Il Sorriso. Mistakes happen, but how you respond to them is what defines good hospitality. Unfortunately, on this occasion, there was none.

19/03/2026: Yet again I asked for a bag of their. "Freshly made chips" and got a bag of deep fried mush (again!!) . They aren't capable of producing properly cooked chips so hold onto your money or go to San Marino down the road and see what real chips are supposed to be.
