03/04/2026: Delicious food! One of the best burgers I ever had!

02/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal at No. 35. It’s upscale without feeling stuffy; no need for pretense if the food is genuine. The staff were lovely as well. The mussels were top notch, as were the daily fish specials. We would absolutely come again.

27/03/2026: Just a stunning meal with beautiful service!! The tastiest meal I’ve had in a long time from starters mains to dessert, I’d recommend the prawn soup - Divine!!

13/04/2026: My partner and I stayed at Davitts for two nights recently and could not have had a more pleasant experience. The room was spotless and very spacious with a great shower! Food was excellent especially the breakfast, highly recommend the porridge! The staff were all very welcoming to us, especially David who was very friendly and we had great chats with. The location is perfect nestled right in the middle of town with plenty of options for food and bars around. Could not recommend Davitts more, we will definitely be recurring visitors.

08/04/2026: For the price, the food was mediocre, and the staff were apathetic. Not sure if it's because this joint mostly serves tourists instead of locals. A few independent Irish beers on tap is an upside. If you want a true Irish quality meal and more attentive staff, which is typically high quality for a few less euros, get out of the resort towns. You just got to get out of your comfort zone and look for them.

07/04/2026: We came here a few times while we were here for a few days. Their food is excellent and fresh. They serve breakfast, lunch amd dinner. Some of the staff are attentative and offer great service. Not all but many of them were fantastic at service. They have great vegatrian options and the vegatarian sausage they serve is so good. Highly reccomend this place. It is airy and spacious, historic, cool bar.

10/04/2026: I am a little torn writing this review as there were many great things about our stay at Park Hotel Kenmare, but ultimately perhaps it did not live up to the 5 star hotel billing. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the hotel and grounds lovely and the food was excellent. But I think attention to detail is lacking and that is everything when you book a 5 star. The room balcony was right on top of a construction site due to the spa being renovated which completely took away any desire to be out there. The wallpaper on entry to the room is badly stained which is the first thing you see on entering the room. The shower was trickling out, although this was fixed on the second day of our stay. The toilet was also dripping very loudly so we had to put a cloth in the sistern. We went to the pool on our 2nd morning only to find the sauna had not been turned on and would take 1 hour to warm up. This was extremely disappointing as its one of the reasons we booked this hotel. The breakfast was interesting: The food itself - Beautiful! But a strange atmosphere due to lack of music and waiters seeming stressed due to being under staffed perhaps. It is sit down service for everything so they ask you what you want from the whole menu at the start which puts you under pressure immediately to decide on all options. The toast doesn't come with the fry up..then the croissants choices come out while you are eating your breakfast, at which point its difficult to make that decision. Mini problems in the grand scheme of things - But if you are going to pay the big bucks for a 5 star hotel experience, they should be getting all of these "smaller" details right in my opinion.

04/07/2025: This is a great coffee shop with the best coffee and pastries ever. The owner is amazing guy and very friendly and helpful as we talked to him about things to see in the area. Love the ambience and vibe and food and drink.

15/10/2025: ​This cafe is a must-visit! The lunch menu is wonderfully diverse and delicious, offering high quality across the board. We especially enjoyed the flavourful Asian Miss Thi's soba salad—a true standout. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is simply lovely: super cozy, relaxed, and welcoming. It has a great vibe and worth seeking out for a coffee, pastry, breakfast or lunch.

From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in warmth. Think rustic stone walls, soft lighting, and that intimate, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night. Pure Kerry magic 🇮🇪 We began with a complimentary bread basket — homemade sourdough and brown bread with olive oil and tapenade. Simple, comforting, and exactly what you need to ease into a winter meal 🫒🍞 The duck croquette was a standout — confit duck leg with Asian slaw, pickled plums, and plum sauce. Crispy on the outside, rich on the inside, with that sweet-tangy plum cutting through perfectly 🦆 Then came The Lime Tree’s famous sticky chicken wings — glossy, saucy, and completely fall-off-the-bone. You can tell why they’ve earned their place on the menu 🔥 For mains, the Duo of Kerry Lamb stole the show. A beautifully pink rack of locally sourced lamb alongside a mini shepherd’s pie, finished with confit garlic and thyme jus. Two styles, one incredible dish — and a perfect showcase of what Kerry does best. The pan-fried sirloin of Irish Hereford beef was equally satisfying — topped with crispy onions, confit shallot, and herb butter. Rich, classic, and exactly what you crave on a winter’s night. 08/10/2025: The Lagom Townhomes is a fantastic place to stay. Nice views, big and clean room, friendly and delightful host (Brandon), easy parking, excellent bathroom, perfect location, and tasty breakfast (and exquisite dinner). At dinner, the short rib was amazing. We look forward to coming back soon!
