01/11/2025: Beautiful evening spent in no.35. Highly recommend, brilliant staff and incredible dishes. Would recommend the goats cheese Arancini, the prawn pastry and mussels. Staff very accommodating, will be back.

27/10/2025: One of the best meals I’ve had in the last 12 months Staff and atmosphere were amazing and the food was incredible 6 of us went and we had such a great meal The Kenmare smokie and crab pot are amazing starters and the burger was one of the best I’ve had Highly recommend and will return

25/09/2025: This is an absolute gem in the heart of Kenmare. The food is fabulous and the menu tastefully designed. The staff are incredibly kind, hardworking and friendly. We had the special steak and Guinness pie, crab and lobster croquettes and the mushroom risotto, followed by the chocolate mousse and all washed down with a lovely Bordeaux. Our baby was welcome who thankfully sat quietly to sleep, no doubt aided by the warm and candlelit ambience and soft Irish rock music. If we’re ever back in the area it would be a no brainer to come back. Thank you Mulcahy’s!

04/07/2025: This is a great coffee shop with the best coffee and pastries ever. The owner is amazing guy and very friendly and helpful as we talked to him about things to see in the area. Love the ambience and vibe and food and drink.

09/10/2025: The manager on duty yesterday evening (October 8th) went out of his way to accommodate our group. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of!

09/10/2025: We had a great meal and a wonderful couple of pints!!! My wife had the beef and leak pie and I had fish and chips. My brother in law had the ribs - which were fantastic!

15/10/2025: ​This cafe is a must-visit! The lunch menu is wonderfully diverse and delicious, offering high quality across the board. We especially enjoyed the flavourful Asian Miss Thi's soba salad—a true standout. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is simply lovely: super cozy, relaxed, and welcoming. It has a great vibe and worth seeking out for a coffee, pastry, breakfast or lunch.

16/10/2025: Had previously stayed here a few months back and gave 4 stars this experience not as good. Firstly please greet customers with a warm welcome, felt like I was disturbing the staff at front desk while checking. Also inform guests of breakfast hours don't just say info on card. If bar is not going to be open inform that at check in too. Hotel not booked out so no need to put people in ajoining rooms. You can hear everything ( and I mean everything) through those wall doors. Lastly the walk way down to path badly needs to be lit up. Impossible to see signs at night. Pro . Lady in restaurant is super friendly and nice. Gym and pool really good

08/10/2025: The Lagom Townhomes is a fantastic place to stay. Nice views, big and clean room, friendly and delightful host (Brandon), easy parking, excellent bathroom, perfect location, and tasty breakfast (and exquisite dinner). At dinner, the short rib was amazing. We look forward to coming back soon!

24/08/2025: I was very excited to try this place unfortunately it fell very short on the expectations. This was probably our only bad meal in out 9 day trip in ireland. We were sat at a very small table in the back where I barely had space to move back my chair to sit without hitting the person behind me I ordered the chowder and lamb duo, my husband ordered scallops and and a beef dish. Starters were ok. Nothing really wrong with them. The main courses my lamb was very disappointing, it was both overcooked and stone cold, the taste was also off like if it was made in the same pan with fish and not well seasoned. The beef dish was also lacking in seasoning, fat was not rendered. Definitely not a meal worth the price. We decided to skip desert waiters were polite but service was not the best, I did not get a meat knife like my husband did, dishes were very cramped on the table and waiters were having a hard time getting things on and off the table, very awkward.

16/09/2025: Our server was lovely and understanding of a few honest substitutions, and the request for no salt added. One of us had lunch and the other breakfast and both were excellent. The ham and cheese sandwich with the real Irish cheddar and a good slice of ham was exceptional.

14/09/2025: Fantastic staff. Wonderful atmosphere. Super accommodating for dietary requirements/restrictions. Only issue was no lactose free butter but an excellent experience. Would highly recommend.

17/06/2025: Super experience at this B&B. Lovely bright room, huge breakfast with lots of variety, and wonderful hospitality from the hosts. The location is easy walking distance to town and it's set back from the road so we didn't get any traffic noise. I appreciated the communal sitting rooms and the lovely views. Would definitely stay again.
