23/11/2025: Just back from another wonderful stay at the Lansdowne Hotel. Everything was top class from the minute we checked in. The hotel is so warm and welcoming and the friendliness from the management and staff is second to none. The location couldn't be better. Have already booked for same time next year.

19/11/2025: My husband David and I stayed in the Coachman’s Townhouse in mid October 2025. It is a great little gastropub hotel, with a fantastic atmosphere and food. We had fish chowder for dinner, and of course Guinness. Siobhan, the owner is extremely efficient, the way she runs the place is amazing. She has also a great knowledge of whiskeys, and hospitality business altogether. The breakfast was equally excellent. The room was very clean and cosy. We recommend this small family run hotel 100%. Thanks so much!

30/10/2025: Phenomenal ice cream. It’s been 2 months since we’ve visited this little shop in Kenmare. Margaret made us feel like we were at home…but with way better ice cream. All it took was talking with her and she insisted our treats were on the house! It was by far some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had the chance to taste. Highly recommend dropping in to see Margaret here. Love from America

01/09/2025: I wanted to give 3 stars, but my husband very much enjoyed his three flavors of ice cream. Server wasn't very interactive at all, didn't seem like customer service was her job. I had espresso (very good) and salted caramel (very soft, almost soupy). I chose the unique 2 sided cone, which was cute in presentation, but was stale and had a bad taste--definitely not the way to finish off dessert.

09/10/2025: Very fun course and easy to walk. Nice scenery and very affordable course.

26/10/2025: Great PUB! Classic interior, nice extended area out the back, barman is excellent. Proper pub.

26/10/2025: A busy bar with a great pint, always a nice buzz about the place. A great pit stop for a couple of drinks before dinner.

13/08/2025: It was a lovely place to sit and enjoy some amazing coctails and great food. The place is cosy and quite big and the staff is really friendly.

11/08/2025: We stopped in for lunch at a this café bar in Killarney town. It was extremely busy, which is always a good sign, but unfortunately, the customer care and personal touch were lacking this time. Staff seemed rushed and a little detached, which took away from the overall experience. That said, the food itself was very nice, and we will return, hopefully next time with a bit more warmth in the welcome to match the quality on the plate.

30/11/2025: Mediocre Guinness, didn't know that was possible. Poor and unfriendly service, bad seafood chowder, and bad chicken wings. We left after the appetizer to eat a delicious main course elsewhere.

30/11/2025: The location is good, but that's where it ends. We received an unfriendly welcome. The food was mediocre, and the staff seemed more concerned with friends than guests. Upon leaving, there wasn't even a goodbye. We opted to eat elsewhere.

27/09/2025: The best burger I've had in a long time. The crispy onions made it 🤤🤌❤️

19/09/2025: We got a spice box which is not an Irish spice box. Not enough peppers or onions or spice. The burger was good enough, but not worth 9.50, if it included chips it might have been more of an appropriate price. The service was very good.
