The best restaurants in Kenmare

10/07/2026: Called to kenmare golf club on Monday 6TH July at 3pm for food unfortunately there was only one staff member on duty a very hard working young man Called rafal I hope I have his name correct,this poor fella was expected to take bar orders,coffee orders,food orders and serve the food and clean the tables ,my companion is a retired hotel manager and was appalled at the situation as quiet a lot of people were getting impatient with this situation which was not rafals fault when rafal got to us the food arrived in a reasonable time and the food was as good as usual that's why we call to kenmare golf club now we are talking about 20 to 25 people were there at this time difficult to expect people to be patient in this situation I was not going to publish a public review i decided to phone the restaurant at kenmare golf club on Thursday 9th of July and spoke to a lady and asked to speak to the manager the answer i got was he wasn't there and he only pops in and out at different times I left my number and asked that he would phone me it's now 12 45 pm on Friday 10th July and no phone call I suppose the situation on Monday was an exception i hope so, all i wanted to do was to make the mangerment aware of the situation hope the situation improves as we like calling to kenmare golf club beautiful club house golf course looks magnificent (didn't get a chance to play there yet but will be back in a few weeks may get the chance then) hope this post is helpful

20/06/2026: Fantastic golf course fast greens in great shape lovely food served in the clubhouse great weather had a great day there.

15/07/2026: It was ok, I found the ice cream kind of watery like not as creamy as you would want it to be. I do think Murphys is nicer and they are similar in price. I had two flavours and another evening the soft whip. The service is good.

28/05/2026: We unexpectedly broke down right in front of this pub, and what could have been a stressful situation turned into a genuinely positive experience thanks to the incredibly kind owner. He checked on us regularly while we waited for the tire service and made sure we were okay the whole time. He even offered that we could take our time to explore the town while he kept an eye on our car. The outdoor seating area in front of the pub was also really comfortable and inviting, making the whole situation much more pleasant. Truly outstanding hospitality — 10/10, highly recommended!

09/06/2026: I didn’t stay here but the staff helped me out with a problem I had for 3 days while in town. Offered me a choice of coffee for free, and a lovely lobby to wait in. The management here is top notch.

04/06/2026: Such a beautiful hotel and welcoming staff. We have a guide dog and they had a fluffy bed for him. The breakfast is delicious and you cannot beat a better location in Kenmare!

17/09/2025: It’s called Cafe Mocha….yet the mocha i ordered wasn’t even drinkable. I gave it back for them to throw away. I would not recommend this place

10/09/2025: Had the all day breakfast. Lots of things to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious cakes too!
