04/04/2024: Myself and my wife ate here last night I can honestly say the food and service was second to none, we spend a lot of time in Kenmare as we have family down here and this restaurant is up there with the best.
08/03/2024: We didn't want to leave this fabulous place. Attention to detail was impressive throughout. Incredibly comfortable bed, quality coffee and coffee maker, the fluffiest and biggest of towels, ethical soap and shampoo bars, easy and free parking, lovely bathroom tiling, fan, extra bedding if required, the list goes on! Breakfast was superb. We didn't have chance to try out the dinner but we will most certainly be back to do so! Thank you so much.

Wonderful food, exceptionally tasty.
18/02/2024: Stayed locally with relatives and came on their recommendation with them for dinner. We all had the beef burger described by the waitress as ‘unreal’. Best I’ve ever had. Service was perfect and the decor etc is really relaxing. Looking at food on other tables it all looked good. Especially the ribs! Maybe next time….

05/02/2024: Just checked out after an amazing 3 night stay at the Park Hotel, Kenmare. We stayed in room 303 which was huge and absolutely beautiful, the bathroom was incredible. The spa facilities are great, one of the best massages I’ve ever received. The service was fantastic, all of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Beautiful food in the restaurant. My favourite part of the stay had to be the bar/lounge area with the live piano and Dylan’s cocktails.. we returned there all 3 nights because of the beautiful ambience and the cocktails were second to none. 100% recommend for a relaxing getaway
11/12/2023: Had lunch here. The park hotel kenmare was wow absolutely beautiful place very helpful and polite staff food was delicious.

Delicious pancakes, really good full Irish, lots of variety in the vegetarian full breakfast.

McCarthys Par at Kenmare Golf Club

14/10/2023: Not especially difficult course, some uphills on the early holes, one dog-leg and a fair bit of forest. Tricky uphill 220 yard par 3 with raised green. Very pleasant place to play.
What makes it special is the attitude of the course staff and local players. Greens are cleared of dew before the first starters, locals give advice on the course. After we finished we went to go into the bar straight off the course, but we’re stopped. Very disappointed it was another stuffy golf club (Ballybunion!) where you had to change to get a drink. But no, just take the spikes off and come on in your socks. Lovely!
13/09/2023: Lovely course and reasonably priced for visitors. Walkers beware it is very hilly in spots!

28/10/2023: We popped in here for a few drinks and to soak in the atmosphere - loved it! They had the rugby game on and we enjoyed listening to all the conversations and excitement. The service and drinks were great!

31/03/2024: The property is maintained to perfect shape. Spoil yourself at very reasonable prices. The staff makes you feel like family. This hotel should not be missed.
10/03/2024: This hotel is LOUD! You can hear the people in the other rooms through the walls, you can hear everyone in the hallway, and if you are on the bottom floors the top floors are so creaky. Good luck sleeping. There is no air circulation so it gets very hot and stuffy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, that was about the only perk.

Rainbow Chinese Takeaway

29/03/2024: I was here in a big group for a stag weekend and I came to Rainbow two nights out of the 3! I was served by the chef who took my order then went to the kitchen to cook! The food came very quick and was very hot and fresh. It wasn’t salty like most Chinese food is. The Cantonese Chicken was very good.
