17/06/2026: Ok so I have gone here three times since I was staying at the Strand hotel and it is downstairs. The first day I went, it was decent service, had a few servers working together to help me out and ask if I need anything. They took a long time for everything I ordered to bring it out, they brought me the check but never came back for my card so I went to the bar to pay my tab, maybe that’s how it works here? Perhaps. Day 2 I rarely see my server, took forever for my chicken Caesar salad to come out, waited another long time for the check that never came, so I had to go search for my server to pay at the bar again. I’m like thinking why is everything taking SO LONG?! I don’t really understand it. Later on, I’m like you know, it’s still early, let me go down and grab a drink from the bar. I sit down and nobody ever acknowledges me. I’m there for a SOLID 15 minutes with nobody asking what I’d like to drink, as if I was a ghost. So I left, annoyed. They have good cappuccino and salads and wraps but the service is where it really needs improvement, superrrr disappointed, could be a nice spot too!

10/08/2026: They cheat on the food; you order something else, or they give you too little. I just ordered 20 wings and got 18. Recently, I got 17, and when I asked for them, the salesperson looked at me with a puzzled expression. I didn't ask for them today. But if someone can't count, they shouldn't work here. I don't recommend it.

01/08/2026: I won't lie the pizza is nice but its a disaster trying to get food delivered. The driver will phone to tell you he on the way or outside and to come and collect it. If you miss the phone call he'll get aggressive (especially to women and children) instead of just knocking on the door like a normal delivery instead of being lazy.

17/04/2026: Fantastic delicious food and excellent friendly service. We have ordered food from this restaurant for delivery lots of times and the food is always really good. Went there for a sit-down meal this week and the service was excellent. We were the only people seated there so it was nice to have the whole restaurant to ourselves and be able to enjoy good conversation with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

22/03/2026: Bought a burger here. It was so sloppy and disgusting stopped at the first bite, goujons and chips were lovely though. Am a bit devastated.
30/01/2026: We had a party gathering in our local pub last weekend ... Rang luca chipper for chips and battered sausages for everybody in the pub ... absolutely beautiful and fresh and so accommodating ... rang at 3.30 they just opened .. 15 / 20 minutes ready to collect... I love this place and there so nice and so so polite .. thanks Lucas 👍

18/06/2026: We were there on Saturday, and I have to say the staff (the security guard and the cashier) were truly the nicest I've met in all of Ireland. We had a problem bear with us, and I thought the security guard was going to throw him out, but he just gave him a friendly hug and told him to behave. A real gentleman.

12/08/2026: Passed by looking for a quick bite to eat at 6.55pm. The girl was really kind and helpful and served me. A really good and much needed sandwich. Fair play to very helpful staff who deserve good wages.
10/08/2026: Very nice spot. Not too busy either. Place is very clean and the staff were very kind. Definitely recommend going to this subway in the city.

11/08/2026: Gone downhill massively - brutal customer service, walked into the shop and staff took zero notice of the queue of people waiting to order and collect. One staff member made a phone call on their own phone for a number of minutes in their own language. For a finish the pizzas we brought home were undercooked. Just a massive drop to a once very well ran business.

19/07/2026: I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday on her birthday but we decided last minute that we were going to go to the beach since the weather was nice. I rang and asked if I could pick it up either the day before or the day after and the lady was not very nice at all she said we could not pick it up the day before even though I rang with 2 days notice. If I had placed a new order on their website I would have been able to order it the day that I had wanted to pick it up however she told me that I was not able to pick it up a day before because I had already ordered it for the one day. I told her then since that would be the case that we would pick it up the following day and she said she just cannot guarantee the freshness which I said okay that's fine. We then went to go pick up the cake the day that we said on the phone we were going to pick up the cake as per our discussion we would pick it up the following day and the woman there said that they did not have our cake and it took some anxiety for them to finally find it. In retrospect I will never order another cake like this again especially to not even be treated with any sort of care or nicest as that lady was completely rude and then on the day of collecting the cake there was no organization whatsoever even though I had rang and told them that we would be picking it up the next day. With my daughter having a summer birthday in a country that is not used to nice weather I will not be ordering any cake like this again. I'm a cake decorator myself but in restrospect I could make my own icing just to write on the cake and buy a Tesco cake which would have been nearly as good for less annoyance. The cake was good but it was nothing special for €36 for a 8" Cake.

30/04/2026: My mum and I went there while shopping in the area. Mum is Celiac and had one of their gluten-free cakes. I had a bite to eat as well. The food tasted fresh, homemade and was just fantastic. The ladies working there were very friendly, courteous and polite. Our experience was impressive. Thank you for the excellent food and atmosphere.
