21/08/2025: Used to be a great local pub, but ruined under the new ownership. A lot of the previous friendly staff are now gone, lost the the friendly and warm feel it previously had. Still a nice local pub mid week but on the weekends a totally different place, on top of the raised prices, ridiculously loud tacky music like something you would expect in albufeira.

15/07/2025: Awful experience. The manager, a blonde lady, got confused with me and other man. I am now “barred” as I am bald and look some way look like a man who spiked a drink and who this establishment says “caused trouble”. They will no longer serve me or when I brought my mother. I recommend you drive on to Avoca. At least the service will be fair.

16/06/2025: Decent food, only accepts cash and even scams you by saying the POS doesn't work. Avoid if you have other options.

05/05/2025: A hidden gem in Ashbourne!! It's pity I realised this after 5 years staying in Ashbourne:( Such an amazing Kebab for both vegetarians and non vegetarians!!) My entire family loved it, and I would be ordering this at least every other day. Highly recommended and very reasonable price 👌

22/06/2025: Never again! Customer service is absolutely shocking. Spent €65 on a takeaway to be short 3 items & then told I was lying to them. Asked for a refund for the three items & was told I am only entitled to €1.50. Was told to go back in & collect the other items, explained the food would be cold. Woman on the phone said if I stayed on the phone complaining it would be cold. Absolutely shocking.

14/06/2025: Always great food and always on time when picking up takeaways. Never any issues.

23/06/2025: Went in to see about getting an empty syrup bottle (I explained the new syrup bottles I have doesn't match the pump I got) and you'd think one of the staff members paid for the bottles herself. They obviously go in the recycling bin when empty, but no, telling me to go buy a pump that suits my new bottle The other staff member was lovely and big hello and goodbye _____________ Unfortunately there were no opening times on the door so we went in around 330 and they had chairs etc on the table as getting ready to close up Super friendly girls who didn't want us to pay until after we had our items and then had a chat with me Tasty drinks, the girlfriend even finished her hot chocolate and she rarely does Reasonable prices with plenty of choices on the menu My personal preference is not having the scone hot (but it was actually nice), probably best to ask first Great to see two choices of alternative sugars Definitely will be back to try the many options on the menu

08/06/2025: This is a small but very well run cafe in a slightly unusual setting.! Although I was only visiting the area recently . I ordered a mini breakfast, which was very satisfying indeed. My coffee was of good quality and hot. Not like some places Luke warm or tepid.! Staff service was very efficient and pleasant. The general ambience is friendly. I liked it a lot.

02/07/2025: Used to love to come for a coffee, but last few times they are always closed at 17:30 despite stating that closing is at 18:00. Change your closing hours if you are not working until 6pm and stop confusing people. We wasted trip to Navan just to have coffee in this place and come home disappointed as it was closed way before the stated closing time.

20/06/2025: Very over priced. Was charged €14.95 for a 'caeser salad' with chicken and the salad was just lettuce with bacon as you can see in the photo. Definitely not worth the price.

25/08/2025: Went in after a bit of shopping with my toddler. Not a soul in the place only us. Server very ignorant. Im not a massive meat eater so i only ordered the starter portion of the chili chicken as i wouldnt of even finished that portion. It was €8 something and main was €18 something so no point spending more money on wasted food. Also ordered a portion of fried rice and noodles and chicken and chips for my son and drinks. Server told me i could only order a main course as its too small, i said okay well does the main come with the rice atleast and she got more ignorant and said no. I said okay ill leave it so and she snatched the menus and walked off. With not one person in the place i think yous should be glad of the custom instead of ripping someone off of an extra 10 euro for a main course. I was willing to spend it but not with her attitude and what restaurant doesnt have chips/rice included in their nearly €20 dish. Often got take aways from here but never again
