28/10/2025: The hatchet bar and restaurant on the outskirts of the county Dublin an meath boarder... The food is amazing and good quality well worth the money...
The staff are very nice and pleasant to the customers ....
There is a very spacious beer garden and plenty of parking to the back ....
I would highly recommend the hatchet for a bit to eat if you are in the area or passing through.....

09/09/2025: I ordered an 8oz fillet explicitly cooked rare, waited 40 minutes without a check-in from the wait staff, and finally received a steak cooked between medium rare and medium (see photo). Another table next to us ordered burgers, which looked quite good however!
27/08/2025: Great meal of chateaubriand for 2, and a sweet dessert for my wifes 70th. Fun environment, good service, tasty food, and fair price.

23/10/2025: This site is well worth a journey. It is situated on the highest hill in the area. Therefore, it is quite a climb to see it, but well worth it.

If you can't get to Greece. This will give you your quick fix! Had brekkie there to day. Spot on as always. Great food super staff.

10/10/2025: Possibly the best pizza experience I have had in the Meath and Louth regions. Tribe Restaurant Duleek is definitely worth a visit. Beef Brisket Pizza was fresh and tasty. The restaurant itself is full of contemporary decor and stylish setup, whilst the staff were very friendly and professional. Will be returning here soon to explore more of what this place has to offer. Highly recommended

The staff are really lovely, one of the few restaurants you will go to where the proprietor himself is always there lending a hand, checking in with the diners and making sure everyone is happy with their meal and experience. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a cosy, authentic feel. Happy to recommend.

06/10/2025: We recently visited Whytes Bar and Restaurant for a meal, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — every dish tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. You can really tell the chefs put care and attention into everything they serve.
The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing, making it the perfect spot for a lovely meal.
We’ll definitely be back again soon — highly recommend Whytes Bar and Restaurant for anyone looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience!
