09/07/2025: The wait staff at The Round O is on another level! Absolutely lovely, attentive servers who were more than happy to be asked questions about the menu and check with the kitchen for any allergy issues. We were a large group and everything was handled quickly and professionally.
I’m not sure if it’s in Ireland as a whole, but the steaks here seemed to be typically a little overcooked. I asked for medium-rare, and it seemed to be cooked to medium. Still edible, but much more dry than I would have hoped. And another in our party ordered medium and was very upset when he was cooked closer to well-done. The steaks were delicious either way, but just be aware when you’re ordering.

14/07/2025: Good restaurant. Food was great and we were seated quickly even though they were nearly filled. The table was wobbly and it took a while before our order was taken but the food came quickly and was very good. Menu is setup with various set meal options if you order a starter and/or dessert.

The Station House Hotel
07/07/2025: Such a pity they cut the hydrangeas on the walkway to the ceremony area to use in the restaurant. Be so much better to keep them for brides so it’s not a chopped up walk to ceremony. Need to replant around the ceremony area and clean or replace the table that looks green with algae.

Atrocious food. I emailed the owners asking if they would discuss but no response. Anyway, I had ordered 2 curries. Kashmiri Dum Aloo & Sadnam Curry. Both should be quite hot. Instead I got 2 dishes, full of oil, that were like an Irish stew. No taste, no spices
