Sweeney's of Kilbride
22/10/2025: What a fantastic find! Discovered this wonderful eating spot on 21/10/2025 on the recommendation of friends. I needed a dog friendly place and Sweeney's did not disappoint. Our food was amazing...HUGE portions and a super friendly server who really looked after us. This was topped off by our Furry companion enjoying his ultra special Doggy Ice Cream! To give this establishment 5 stars doesn't seem like enough...I'd go 10.
Many thanks for a lovely evening and can't wait to go back!
16/10/2025: Went in here for a quick bit one evening last week... The food is amazing... Price is not over the top... And the staff are great fun and very welcoming.. not too mention the setting and the quaint location of the pub...
If you can travel.... It's definitely worth a stop off

Insomnia Coffee Company - Kells
Kells
22/09/2025: Amazing staff, good coffee but so expensive - especially when there’s such a good choice of local coffee shops. Not much choice for gluten free snacks- had a brownie, but there the same you buy in all shops.
19/09/2025: I just dealt with an absolutely lovely girl with two pink braids, I didn’t catch her name but she is a credit to you guys! Great service and lovely person, brightened my day!

The BOOK MARKet
Kells
01/09/2025: Very cool place with secondhand books for sale. Food is scrumptious too
14/08/2025: As we drove from Clifden to the Cabra Castle we were passing through Kells and google searched for restaurants. The menu looked good and the name was cute. They did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We may never be back this way again, but will tell everyone we know who are traveling to Ireland to find you if they can. Thank you!

Coffee Works Trim
Trim
31/10/2025: Great coffee and sandwiches. Staff are very friendly and great service. Would recommend
25/10/2025: I've passed through Trim quite literally hundreds of times and never knew of the existence of The Coffee Works.
It was just a fiat white and a scone, but it was a good flat white and a good scone.
I'll be back.

P Bermingham's
Navan (an uaimh)
07/10/2025: A great bar with an awesome atmosphere, even on a quiet night! We popped in twice during our visit to Navan. The first night we came here (a Sunday) the place was packed & a group of musos were smashing out some tunes. We decided to come back for our last night in Ireland (Tuesday) & it’s a different experience but still enjoyable. Highly recommend!
25/09/2025: Lovely place for a few drinks! Great atmosphere and really kind staff

Sally Roger
Trim
13/10/2025: We grabbed a late lunch at Sally Roger’s two weeks ago and my husband is still talking about the stew! And my soup and ham and cheese toastie was amazing!
We had a great experience here. Came in for a late lunch. Found a table easily and drinks and food were quick. Even though the server apologized for the wait!
The food was so good and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. AND they print fun sayings on our Guinness pints!
HIGHLY recommend to anyone in Trim!
03/10/2025: 1. A perfect riverside location with panoramic views: The pub is located on Bridge Street, with a balcony and beer garden overlooking the River Boyne. It offers stunning views of King John's Castle (12th century) and one of Ireland's oldest stone bridges (14th century). This makes it a popular spot for photos and relaxing—especially at sunset with a pint of Guinness in hand.
2. Live music and festival atmosphere: Sally Rogers is known for its live Irish music performances on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The pub often becomes the center of local events, including celebrations (communities, corporate events, sports broadcasts), and the friendly staff (including a "dancing bartender") create a warm, fun atmosphere. It's also dog-friendly—dogs are welcome. 3. Classic Irish cuisine with an emphasis on breakfast: The menu includes traditional dishes like all-day breakfast (around €18 for two), crispy fries, and finger food for parties. Guests praise the generous portions, excellent coffee, and Guinness, emphasizing that this is "the best breakfast in Trim." The pub is open from 10:00 a.m., perfect for a morning coffee or a late dinner (until midnight on weekends).
