07/07/2025: Great spot in trim town centre. Very small front of house then opens up into very modern well decorated seating area at the back with 2 seperate rooms with bars for seperate rental. We visited on a Sunday. Was quiet but we stayed for several hours. Good service and great surroundings. We stayed at trim castle hotel which is 5 min walk from here. We will 100% be back. Maybe on a fri or sat next time

23/06/2025: I recommend it very much, sandwiches are great, coffee is pretty good, sometimes it is not as good. I guess it depends on who makes it.
I would suggest the owner to make sure employees have proper training to make good quality coffee. Some days I simply love, other days, I wonder why I was there, not the other places I too like.
Anyway, after their renovation, it gave another special touch to the place it seems. I keep coming back hoping that on the day I'm there, my coffee will taste that good :)
Having a really good coffee preparation that stands out, will certainly win you a regular, not only for the coffee, for everything else, rather than I quick take away coffee :)

12/07/2025: Popped in here on our way to the Dublin Ferry and were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent lunchtime carvery. Large selection of vegetables and the best roast potatoes. Well worth a return visit to Ireland in itself!

17/08/2025: I went here with the family for the October bank holiday. This place is a hidden gem tucked away above a car park. The narrow stairwell opens out into a large ballroom floor At the back. The decor gives for a great ambience. The menu was varied and good. There was a veggie option.

24/07/2025: I normally enjoy the food, but I got the duck with the trio of sauces, the 3 sauces were too sweet and there was so much of the sauces that I had to ask for another plate so I could just eat the duck and the vegetables. It was impossible to eat it with the meat swimming in sauce.

29/08/2025: Visit everytime we go to navan, great pub and was only €5.30 a pint of Guinness and selected draught beers Mon-thur. Good atmosphere and bar staff are polite and helpful Adam was on and very nice bloke. Will continue to drop on when we're back in navan which will be soon. 10/10

12/07/2025: I can honestly say the best meal iv ever had.the fillet steak was fabulous. Staff were amazin and barman so friendly. It was my first time there but il defo b back for more of this fabulous food 😍
12/07/2025: Lovely food . ..I had fish and chips and i asked for garlic sauce instead of the tartar .....most places would just change the sauce no charge but sweeneys charged me a extra for the garlic sauce 2.50 euro

05/09/2025: Found this on the way to Trim Castle. Just went in for a quick lunch and was surprised at the elegance of the pub. We ordered fish and chips and it was fantastic. The cod was so tender and fresh and the batter was thin and crunchy. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. We went there rather late for lunch so it wasn't very busy, but I have no doubt during normal lunch and dinner hours it's vibrant.

22/07/2025: It's incredibly charming coffee house with quaint shop. You can buy there some sundries for home. Little pricy, but trust me - they are chosen with a taste, so it looks lovely and gives you warm feelings. Good things for a gift. Coffee menu is basic, they use Lavazza so there is +. We concluded that cakes are home-made, not bought in store. Brownie is veery sweet :) Coffee area is such a beautiful place (inside as well as outside - with canopy, so drinking coffee, chatting and listening to the rain drops will stay in my memory :)
