13/03/2026: Delicious! The fried Brie is a must, although not it only comes with two pieces. The steaks were tender and the pasta was phenomenal! Not a bad bite was taken the entire meal. Staff were friendly, fast, and knowledgeable about the menu. If you're near the area then you'll want to stop by

10/03/2026: I'm outraged by the appalling treatment we received at FIFTY-50 Ashbourne on March 9th, 2026. A waitress mis-sold us a meal deal, and when it came to paying, she vanished. The manager, Mick, took over, bullying us to "just pay and leave". His aggressive behavior was shocking – he even chased us out like dogs! As a loyal customer of over 3 years, this was a nightmare experience. I expect better from a reputable brand. Mick's behavior was unacceptable, and I demand action. No customer deserves to be treated this way. I want: - CCTV footage reviewed - Investigation into the incident - Action taken against Mick for his behavior This was a terrible night, and I hope changes are made to prevent it happening again.

22/12/2025: Great spot! My friends Martin, Dylan and The Bruno introduced it to me a few months ago and what a pleasant surprise it was, if you are enjoying a few pints of Smithwicks you can enjoy a Clems kids meal for a cheap price and lots other options. The owner Paul is a classy traditional man who is a gentleman to deal with. Would recommend to any passerby and hoping they extend the pub or turn it into a franchise. Toilets are lovely aswell.

06/09/2025: A true Irish pub. One where you can chat with everyone, sip a Guinness while listening to traditional music, and enjoy excellent service. The best Guinness I've ever tasted. And if you stop by on a Friday, try to find the key that opens the chest... you could win!

Greedy owners packing customers into a narrow long pub with one exit and an even smaller laneway to the side Small bar meaning constant piles of glasses and bottles as people try to order their drinks (which you then had too battle back to your table and hope didn't spill them) Should be a staff member/bouncer om the door with a clicker counting numbers or common sense to see when bar is full

19/03/2025: Nothing available on the menu Arrived on Sunday at 2pm. I was given a menu and we both picked sandwiches. 10 mins later the waitress said “oh sorry we gave you the wrong menu. There’s no sandwiches available.” I then picked roast beef and was told there was “none left.” The menu is awful and 90% seafood which I’m allergic to so we had very little to choose from. I got my son chips as he was starving. The chips were disgusting. We won’t be back.

11/10/2025: Lovely little place with friendly staff. We come here regularly and the quality has always been consistent. Its a real gem of a place. The large breakfast is great. Vegetarian breakfast available also which is great.

11/08/2025: The best breakfast I've ever had and my wife was very happy with her vegetarian breakfast, Very pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Definitely will go back when I'm in the area again.

03/04/2026: Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Caffrey’s in County Meath. The vibe was spot on—lively, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food and drinks were just as impressive. We enjoyed a great spread including Guinness, wine, and a standout Bumbu Colada. For food, everything hit the mark—from the flavourful chicken wings and fresh crab claws to the rich risotto and sizzling fajitas. The Thai red curry was beautifully balanced and packed with flavour. To top it all off, the brownie dessert was the perfect finish—decadent and satisfying. Overall, amazing atmosphere, excellent food, and great service. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

30/03/2026: Food and service was excellent. I found it dark inside but that was the only fault I could find. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back here again in the future

19/03/2026: The restaurant and takeaway are absolutely great. The food is freshly prepared — I asked to have one ingredient removed from my dish, and they had no problem doing it. It was definitely not pre‑prepared and reheated. The waiting time was around 15–20 minutes. The portions were hot and generous; in many other places, you would get about 30% less for the same price. Highly recommend — 100%!
