Great selection of beers and options, really good pizza, and an excellent atmosphere and cosy welcome!
The staff were helpful and chatty, and the there was a few spaces we could move to to suit us. Great bar, great find.

14/10/2024: Amazing first time.
We stopped in Jacks on our way to farmophobia tonight. From the second we entered the building you could feel the great atmosphere. There was live music, everyone was smiling, the staff were super friendly. We ordered food and it was outatanding. I had ribs and the mrs had steak. The portions were huge and packed with flavour, the homemade coleslaw was delicious.
Would definitely visit again and would recommend highly.

30/09/2024: I don't know if they were having an off day, because the other reviews are pretty positive, but it wasn't what I expected.
The main course took 1h20 to arrive. Which I think is a record in my experience. I ordered the Gnocchi and there were so many peas in the dish that I seriously had a hard time finding the Gnocchi.
For the starter I had the Bruschetta, which was average.
âŹ35 is bananas for the portions they serve. That was the most expensive plate of peas I've had in my life!
29/09/2024: We ordered the 3 course meal and we had to stay there for more than 2 hours because the service is extremely slow. We waited for almost an hour only for the starters. And the food is good, but over priced.

03/11/2024: Had the early bird menu which has a very good choice. Food and service were excellent. The restaurant is comfortable and would certainly return. Imagine best to book ahead especially at weekends.
02/11/2024: Even though they were absolutely bombarded with a festival come through, the staff remain pleasant, helpful, and downright wonderful. Not letting the rush get them down, they treated every guest with a smile like they had all the time in the world for their customers.
The food is incredible and the menu has a good selection of meals, including revamped classics. As well as set price menu option (2 or 3 courses) makes great food at decent prices.
I could not recommend highly enough!

13/10/2024: Got a takeaway spice bag and spring rolls. Raw chicken, satay sauce was OK spring rolls rancid obviously old oil that needs to be changed. Don't get a spice bag from here it's skinny frozen chips and frozen chicken tenders of which there were six.

15/10/2024: Based on this being a barn style restaurant, I think the food is decent and the service is pretty good.
I wouldnât necessarily go out of my way to try this however if youâre in the area then it is worth a try.
The outdoor area has different animals(donkeys, pigs, chickens, ducks, etc) that you can look at/pet as well.
*It would be a great spot for kids to enjoy a meal and look at the animals.

14/10/2024: This was my first time at the bakery, we ordered 4 times for takeaways and I was so disappointed with the quality of each baked good we received. I got a chocolate croissant which I was apprehensive about to begin with as it just didnât look like your normal croissant and it wasnât. The pastry was not flakey it was stodgy and hard. There only was chocolate on the outside and it was tasteless. The apple turnover had the same issue, pastry was thick stodgy and dry. The two blue berry scones we ordered we tasteless and dry. I was so disappointed as I was having guests over and everyone said the same, âthis is awful.â And the worst part was I had paid âŹ10 for it. Iâm sorry to say we will not be back.
