02/03/2025: They don’t really know how to make croissants 🥐 whenever I think of a croissant (coming from Spain) is that buttery flakey pastry that is sweet and melts in your mouth. Whatever I had in there was some thick dry bread tasting feeling thing. It should not be called a croissant. It may have a similar shape to it but that’s about it. It was dry and horrible. Overpriced as well.
28/02/2025: The best French Toast you will ever....ever have. This is an absolute gem. We'd drive out of our way to come here the next time we visit Ireland. Perfect place to start the day.

I'm trying a few dishes and all lovely. 1 point I got the pork ribs last weekend, tasty but quite small for the price of €24 when all you get is chips and slaw!! Something to take on board. Looking forward to trying other dishes.
15/02/2025: I’m not sure what has happened , as we have gone to whytes many times. Every other time the food has been exceptional, where as tonight we wanted to run a mile. Creamy veg table soup was like watery stock. No thickness or vegetables to it. Steaks were absolutely destroyed and crusted in salt.
Kinder bueno sundae had stale kinder bueno. Not worth €146

30/01/2025: Great spot that’s an easy walk away from the Dunboyne Spa & Hotel. Had the surf & turf special, with prawns and ribeye. Ordered the ribeye rare, and it was cooked perfectly. It came with a lovely sauce and rich, creamy mashed potatoes underneath. 10/10 would recommend!

Arrived on Sunday at 2pm. I was given a menu and we both picked sandwiches. 10 mins later the waitress said “oh sorry we gave you the wrong menu. There’s no sandwiches available.” I then picked roast beef and was told there was “none left.” The menu is awful and 90% seafood which I’m allergic to so we had very little to choose from. I got my son chips as he was starving. The chips were disgusting.
We won’t be back.

Portion sizes are too small yet expensive. Went away hungry.

15/03/2025: I ordered chicken tikka for main course. But they gave 5 chicken pieces and 2 onion pieces with no gravy. Their website showing nice pictures, but giving different foods. Aslo ordered 2 egg rice. Both Dishes are two different colours. One rise is original egg rice. The other one is egg rice mixed with pilaw rice. We know what is the different between pilaw rice and egg rice. Also portion is very low. disappointed.
05/02/2025: Had an excellent meal and returned again the second day as it was so good. Visited on a work group so travelled with a large group. It was the most enjoyable experience during my stay in Kells. Top class service and a cosy environment. The restaurant was worth visit and hope to try it again on my next trip.

10/03/2025: I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Tankardstown House Hotel last Friday, and I can’t recommend it enough! It’s a fantastic spot for capturing beautiful wedding photos. The staff and management are super friendly and professional, making sure everything runs perfectly.

13/02/2025: Great pub with the friendliest and most welcoming staff. Super atmosphere and live music was added bonus. Went there as a group of 16 and were really well looked after. Had an area reserved and lots of room for dancing and fun. Paddy and the team were great. Would recommend for anyone in the meath area. We travelled from a nearby town and it didn't disappoint.

18/02/2025: A bit pricey but ice cream is good we went for brunch and orderd waffles which were great. Service was good. Overall good.
07/01/2025: The Navan branch of Melt is a huge disappointment. I usually visit with a friend every once in a while for a treat and every time I go their waffle and crepe machine is cleaned and turned off, cofeee machine is turned off. This evening I went at 9pm and they were closed although advertising they are open until 10pm. Really disappointing as I used to enjoy going but service has completely gone down hill also not to mention staff are very rude and unwelcoming. Numerous times I’ve went at 9:30/9:40 and went in and been told they’re cleaning up and closed.
