17/03/2026: Popped in on Saturday after passing many times, the atmosphere was buzzing with the ireland match on, the food was delicious, amazing portion sizes and excellent price. Staff very friendly, plenty of parking, would recommend a visit, we will return again

10/05/2026: Bad experience. I asked for my meal with gravy on the side. It came smothered in gravy. It had to be sent back. My partner was half way through his meal before i had mine returned

20/05/2026: We visited the restaurant to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Unfortunately, two of the dishes we ordered were extremely spicy — so spicy that my sister and my mother couldn’t eat them. Thankfully, our evening was saved by our waiter, Bohdan. He noticed that something was wrong and kindly offered to replace the dishes for us. He was very polite, understanding, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a good experience. We are very grateful to Bohdan for making our evening much more enjoyable and turning the situation around. Thank you for the excellent service!

15/05/2026: Straight from entrance you know you gona enjoy your time here. You are welcomed from staff with nice smile and warm instruction. First thing that you notice is amazing ambient with dimmed lights that gives posh but welcoming and warm feeling. Staff is amazingly pleasnt and friendly while presentable at high standard. Tables are clean and well presented. Food is well.. In one word AMAZING. Steak was done with precison and cooked exactly as I wanted. Good portion with good sides. OLD FASHIONED WHISKEY.. BEST I EVER HAD, LOVE THE CINEMON TOUCH. All in all looks like we will be back.. and back.. and back. Keep it up.

10/05/2026: On our first day in Ireland, we rented a car and drove from Dublin. Thanks to Google Maps, we were able to avoid traffic and arrive in about an hour. We stayed at this hotel, which was recommended by an acquaintance in Japan, and it exceeded our expectations. It's a hotel renovated from a former train station, and while there are traces of history throughout the building, the ivy-covered gate and beautifully maintained garden are very charming. It felt like stepping into a storybook. Dinner was also wonderful; I chose the duck, and my wife chose the beef. Both were thick and very satisfying in terms of taste and portion size. For breakfast, we enjoyed traditional Irish oat porridge, and the coffee and tea were also delicious. The only slight disappointment was that it would have been even more enjoyable if there had been more information on which parts of the former train station had been reused and how. Nevertheless, it was a warm and memorable hotel, perfect for starting our trip to Ireland.

10/05/2026: My wife and I stayed at the Station House Hotel for one night to attend a wedding celebration, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The views were beautiful, the ambiance was relaxing, and the lush green landscaping made our stay even more enjoyable. 09/05/2026: We had been recommended to go to Boyles by many people and it didnt disappoint, far from it! A group of us had gathered there early in the day and John was nothing but warm and welcoming. We came back later in the evening (after an event) and the atmosphere and service was fantastic. We felt like we were having the craic with family, the staff were great! Thanks to John for being an amazing host, you go above and beyond, a true gem of Slane! Hope to be back soon! Coleen and Stephen

26/03/2026: Best pub in Slane, can’t beat the atmospheric lighting and decor, music, and friendly service behind the bar. The staff are welcoming and the locals and regulars are the best!

16/12/2025: It was a really good shop absolutely fine but there's a problem since SuperValu states that there are deals but absolutely no deals because everything is around €1-2 it's rare to find anything for a few cents but it's good anyways they have a lot of good foods so it's fine

18/04/2026: Beautiful course, well manicured fairways and greens. A real challenge even to low handicap players. Facilities are fantastic. A good day out for all.
