28/10/2024: We were hungry and stopped in, more of an Italian menu than steak house which might be confusing but I can only speak to the pasta which was good. Friendly staff.

If she doesn’t like foreigners just don’t show this with your body language and try to be nice. I wouldn’t come back to this place after last shocked visit

25/09/2024: Lovely place. Living in town for 15 years and never went in to this place. Been there on friday night for dinner with the wife. Absolutely shocked of how great the service and the food was. Had steak and was so nice and tender. Deserts were awesome as well. Pictures taken a bit late, too hungry.

27/10/2024: Disappointing experience. Thought we'd try this out and ordered some steaks. Mix up on the steaks and what should have been 1x striploin and 1x ribeye came out as 2x ribeye, extra cost was then on us. The quality of the meat was really bad and we made the best of it but did mention it at the end. We paid full price and that was it. Not going to be going back.

06/08/2024: Lovely place, pleasant gentleman, food is good, only thing we've come across that could be improved is the tea and hot chocolate aren't as hot as I'd have liked. 🙂

02/10/2024: Before I say anything, I have the rooms at one as I didn't stay overnight thus I can't provide an opinion. However, I can provide an opinion on the food and service and I can't have a higher opinion on both. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. I was with an event and we had a seperate area to the rear of the hotel. The staff offered us coffee and tea after the meal. There's a decently big menu for people to choose along with a bar for drinks.

03/10/2024: Most horrible chinese food experience ever. Not only was the restaurant a very bad atmosphere, with a dying fish in the fish tank. But worst of all, it was disgusting food. Everything was undercooked; there was absolutely NO seasoning, the chips were raw, and the chicken balls were burned on the outside. I ordered salt and chilli chicken and it had no spice whatsoever, I had to add my own salt and chilli. Overall I’m extremely upset because we payed €30 for this food and barely ate any. I would recommend going to any other chinese just not this one.

27/10/2024: Phoned twice but didn't get an answer. They rang back afterwards and took our booking for 2. When we arrived there was nobody in front of house. After a few minutes standing we decided to seat ourselves as there was plenty of vacant tables for 2. Eventually a staff member came to us and asked us were we happy with our table and we said yes. She departed and did not supply a menu or ask about drinks. A group of 6 came in after that and tables had to be rearranged to accommodate these. Another couple came in and were shown to thier table. Menus, drinks etc. were supplied to these two tables, we still hadn't been attended to. Eventually we were offered menus and drinks and food served, we opted for the 2 course early bird. Food was good overall, my wife's was lovely, my beef was tough in the Asian stir fry. We declined the offer to have a desert but had a 2nd drink each. Shortly after the bill arrived on the table by a young staff member who hadn't previously served us, thought this was odd but ok. We continued to finish our drinks but about half way through we were asked to pay our bill as the table was needed shortly, not sure why we were asked if we wanted deserts/tea/coffee if the table was needed. We had this discussion with the manager and also pointed out that we were helping to support our local hospitality industry as we have done over many years. We found that it was quite rude to demand money prior to us finishing our drinks. It didn't seem true that the table was needed in a hurry as the restaurant had many empty tables and no customers arriving. Really disappointed as we've been going there for many years, it's not a fast food cafe. We felt they just wanted us out as we had finished spending with them.
