22/09/2025: Amazing staff, good coffee but so expensive - especially when there’s such a good choice of local coffee shops. Not much choice for gluten free snacks- had a brownie, but there the same you buy in all shops.

05/03/2026: Absolutely lovely little spot. Staff were so helpful and friendly, without being on top of you. Food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Big decent pot of tea which they topped up for free too. I will definitely be back.

29/01/2026: The New Leaf Cafe is one of the best places around here. The scones are simply the best (any other cafe owner could learn a thing or two about scones). The staff are better than wonderful. It has an amazing community feeling and long may it last.

27/03/2026: Food was very good got the T-Bone, cooked perfectly, partner got the rib eye was also very good The pepper sauce complimented the food, the trimmings were all very tasty, Service was very attentive and thorough. And for the price you can’t go wrong. Desserts were unreal got the cheesecake. Would highly recommend.

15/12/2025: Really nice place for a bite to eat. The cakes are delicious! They have a good selection of food and cakes etc. well priced too. I highly recommend the mocha, not too strong. We'll definitely be back - I'd love to try the burger. Lots of seats available. There's a car park nearby too.

08/12/2025: Super cozy pub, friendly service, great place to enjoy some drinks with family and friends. I went for the first time with my friend and I plan to go back many more times. We went on a Sunday and there was live music, very good.

26/10/2025: Visit look mam no hands today, second time to visit this establishment. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We order two breakfast and they were so filling and everything was cooked to perfection 👌 so, to the chefs well done to your fantastic work and thank you. To the lady servers yous do your upmost best to welcome customers and to making sure they are looked after. We will be visiting again and will be passing on to family and friends to visit Wish yous all the best on continuing your hospitality to ashbourne area.

08/02/2026: We arrived and asked for breakfast but we were told they had finished serving breakfast and we would have to eat from the lunch menu. We choose two meals from the lunch menu and waited. While waiting a large group of people came in and they were all served the breakfast. We continued to wait and eventually the manager came over and apologised for the delay. Our meals were eventually served and boy they were most certainly not worth waiting for. My meat was just warm the veg was shocking couldn't believe we were served frozen veg from a bag. No fresh veg here. The chips we ordered was the only thing that was ok. No fault to the manager he was ever so polite but the food was shocking.
