17/07/2025: Fantastic place for dinner. Fabulous atmosphere, the jukeboxes at nearly all tables with last centuries' greatest hits. Wide menu with options for vegetarians. They offer takeaway and delivery, but I'd highly recommend visiting in person just for the experience of being in a vintage-styled restaurant itself.

04/06/2025: This is a little gem up a lane way just off the Bull(or the Square as we locals knew it!) and behind AIB. The whole place is exceptionally clean including the bathroom. They have a great variety of homemade food on the menu, everything fresh and tasty at very reasonable prices. Great friendly service. I'm glad to see more and more people becoming aware of it's existence. No queues, music at a low level, this place is a little oasis where you can have breakfast, lunch or drop in for excellent coffee and homemade cakes. Highly recommend.

19/06/2025: Having previous come across the LMNH in Charlestown SC mam & I were delighted to find the Ashbourne branch. We experienced a warm & welcoming greeting the moment we walked in the door. Although our visit was at lunchtime we were lucky to find an available table. Mam ordered her usual pancakes with bacon & maple syrup with a decaf latte and I opted for the BBQ pulled pork wrap with a mocha. The service was quick and the food arrived nice & warm. Everything was really tasty. I would definitely recommend a visit & can't wait to go back myself.

14/06/2025: Huge menu range,to choose from. Enjoyed the steak,chips,fried onions+ mushrooms. Superbly cooked. Followed by tasty cakes+ coffee. Price was very reasonable.; Excellent value all round

26/05/2025: I recently popped in for a quick treat and was greeted by the warmest atmosphere ever. The girl at the till had the friendliest and kindest energy, being served by her was a treat. I would recommend this to anyone in Trim, what a lovely establishment!

31/07/2025: Absolutely disgusting ordered from here using the just eat app my order said delivered but I never received my order driver made no attempt we as a business order from you guys the whole time . Spoke on the phone to mug and bean your staff are unhelpful and rude with no care no refund or no redelivery after spending 33 50 Absolutely myself nor my colleagues will not be ordering from here again but if that's how you want to run your business I wish u all the luck

26/07/2025: Great food and coffee (the Vegan Melt was delicious), excellent soundtrack ( Fleetwood Mac and other golden 80's bangers) and lovely hospitable staff. Would definitely recommend 👌🏻

09/06/2025: We booked my son’s fifth birthday today in the hotel for a meal. We had two spacial needs kids attending one being the birthday boy. The couldn’t have been more excellent with our boys and us. Put us in a separate private part, no music (which we requested) and came with a candles for my son. The food was unbelievable, Speaks for itself. There was twenty of us and we will all be returning. Exceptional service and people. Keep doing what you’s are doing never change. Thank you ever so much for an amazing night

23/05/2025: Old Hotel needs a full refurbishment. Outdated rooms. The owner changed our room to a nicer room however on our last night the TV fell off the wall it was just fortunate that I wasn't bending down to get my shoes when it happened however was still charged the full amount at checkout with no apology However, I will say that the staff are lovely 😍. Abbey, Joe, the waiters and waitress are really helpful and welcoming My husband was not impressed with the owner and found him to be a wee bit miserable.

15/07/2025: A pleasant location with a welcome space, not too cramped, and with a small but varied menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We arrived around 3PM and asked for a table for four. We ordered a pizza, a bowl of soup with a veggie roll, and a Caesar Salad wrap with soup. Plus an Americano. We enjoyed conversation and good company, but after 35 minutes, the coffee hadn't even arrived. We went up to ask, and a few minutes later, the pizza arrived, followed by the rest of the food and coffee. But it was 45 minutes all told. The food was good. But when settling, we weren't offered any discount or even a free coffee. And when we asked, we were told that "the boss said, 'No.'" Really? So, while the location was fine and the food was good, the service was shocking considering it was a small space and not full. The fact that the management wouldn't even consider a small discount for our time and hassle, with no sense of apology, was hugely disappointing. Something had clearly gone wrong — one of our table noted that there was a cold Americano undelivered on the front counter and one of the staff admitted that our table number has been written down back-to-front — yet, no sense of apology was offered. I cannot recommend it. While the hiccup might have been accidental, management's indifference to the issue was unacceptable.

05/07/2025: Hubby had breakfast and we both had lunch today on a visit to Navan today... we also had a coffee in between and all 3 were absolutely gorgeous.... piping hot fresh breakfast... Danny says white pudding was to die for.... The coffee I had was absolutely sublime... gorgeous coffee.... and the omelette and sweet potatoes fries and dannys toasted special exceeded expectations too.... service was excellent and food couldn't have been better.... also got some sexy protein bites on the way out.... Highly Recommend.... well worth a visit.
