15/11/2025: A great place in Lucan with a very tasty traditional breakfast. The place is welcoming and the staff are really friendly. It made for a lovely morning with a warm and pleasant atmosphere all around.

08/12/2025: Super cozy pub, friendly service, great place to enjoy some drinks with family and friends. I went for the first time with my friend and I plan to go back many more times. We went on a Sunday and there was live music, very good.

03/01/2026: Last time we were in Flambé the menu was different. This time there was a very strong Italian influence to the menu but all the meat favourites were still there. We had the bruschetta and calamari for starters both were delicious and plentiful. For mains we had the aribiatta and the risotto with chicken. Both excellent. The aribiatta is spicy spicy but I like that. The cocktails were gorgeous very modern and up to date, all evening the cocktail shaker was going. Staff were excellent and it was busy but they were great. I highly recommend flambé David and Kabhir

02/01/2026: Arrived 17.00 for last dinner with family after lovely holiday. on entering heard one female (owner) giving strong feedback to employee. Very unprofessional. As customers we didn’t need to hear this. It continued. I was about to walk out. There was just 2 tables occupied. I work in the trade but I would never expect my management to deliver feed back in this manner. Because there was one child at our table and she was very hungry I stayed. We spent 400 euros on our bill but I must say the waiter/waitress that served us turned the situation around - she was above and beyond. If this owner treats her staff like this she wont be in business for much longer as I have seen many times. Won’t be back.

26/10/2025: Visit look mam no hands today, second time to visit this establishment. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We order two breakfast and they were so filling and everything was cooked to perfection 👌 so, to the chefs well done to your fantastic work and thank you. To the lady servers yous do your upmost best to welcome customers and to making sure they are looked after. We will be visiting again and will be passing on to family and friends to visit Wish yous all the best on continuing your hospitality to ashbourne area.

02/11/2025: I usually don’t like to give bad reviews to local places… however I tried the food here few times and almost every time got disappointed. The delivery time was +1h and few times pizzas were delivered cold. Also had to call as there was no updates on my order in the first 60 mins. Would be good to see improved times on the delivery… I m only 5 mins away drive from the restaurant.

13/12/2025: Great food, Staff are great, they take care of their customers and it's obvious even to a passers by that they care about their regulars and their regulars care about them. Their breakfast or lunch options would set ye up for the rest of the day. Wouldn't pass it without popping in for a feed.

03/02/2026: First time going to china garden for a sit down meal, food was lovely, staff extremely friendly, atmosphere and decor fantastic, the only thing was we booked the table for 19:30pm and was waiting in the reception area 25/30mins to be seated.
