20/05/2025: Stopped in checking about food. Bar tender was so nice explaining they didn’t serve food but telling us what other options were close. After eating we stopped back in for a drink. I tried Guinness for the 1st time & really loved it. The bartender was so helpful even telling us where to go to listen to music through the week. The place was really full & she let us know it was their bingo night. We really enjoyed our stop & would definitely go again.

19/08/2025: Pizza House in Black Castle Navan were incredibly unprofessional in their response to my partner ringing them to check where our food was. They answered the phone and abused him, not letting him get a word in edgeways before saying they were cancelling his order. I think this is completely unacceptable from the restaurant. This is not the first time we’ve had an issue with them whenever we ring to order they are always exceptionally rude but to throw abuse down a customers ear for simply asking the whereabouts of our food that we paid for is beyond a joke.

06/09/2025: The tea rooms are absolutely charming and beautifully located, but unfortunately the food quality does not live up to the prices. On both occasions I visited, I left somewhat disappointed. For example, charging €15 for a French toast feels quite unreasonable given the standard offered. It’s such a shame, because the place itself is lovely and full of character, but they should really consider improving the food quality or adjusting the prices to match the experience.

17/09/2025: Stopped here for drinks and dinner. The chicken was delicious and gravy added delight. Mashed potatoes were fresh. My husband had requested BBQ sauce turns out it is made fresh, he is ultra picky about his BBQ and said the chef needs to bottle that!!! Luxury at a good price.

The bed was extremely comfortable.

31/05/2025: Ordered a snack box with breast piece, chips were good but was given the driest, unfresh lump of a breast piece that I've ever had, to the point that it was nearly inedible. Almost all the crispy skin on it was gone aswell, very dissapointing.
