Black Bush Golf Restaurant
09/08/2024: The restaurant here at the golf course really surprised me the food here was really good and our food was at our table within 15 minutes. Definitely will be coming back here shortly!

29/09/2024: for the past 2-3 years My wife and I have been going to the wildflower every 2 weeks on a Sunday morning for the BB big Irish Breakfast,, Its a great experience we have made many new aquaintences and dare we say friends ,we find a very friendly athmosphere amongst the clientiel .Also we have established a great relationship with the servers (staff) especially the Manager Dipsy one of the most helpful people we have ever met, her attention to customers is brilliant , there are too many others to name suffice it to say we show our appreciation and our gratitude is to leave a decent tip for the staff every Sunday then , Have to say the place feeds both body and Mind

13/10/2024: We had eaten here a few times, just wanted a toastie. Food was tasty, but the portion was small , I ordered chips , it was tiny about 10 skinny chips . My wife had chicken bap , and it was also tasty. Again very small portion. The cost incl 2 teas cost €35. I queried the owner about size of portion, in particular chips . She said it was not raised before ,€4.50 for 10 skinny chips is excessive. I believe the owner has now retired. I was disappointed because We had always found portion size and taste very good.

Came with really fresh salad and also really fresh chips home made will definitely be back

09/09/2024: I both stayed here and enjoyed dinner and a few beers in their restaurant. The inn is great, I had a room in the back courtyard and it was full of amenities, washer, refrigerator, sink kitchen setup. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Food at the restaurant was fantastic, highly recommend the carbonara. Great location if you are going to see Bru Na Boinne or Newgrange. Also great spot if you are looking for a non touristy traditional Irish pub! Was only 40 minutes to the Dublin Airport, 10 minutes to the highway.

25/10/2024: Jehova's witnesses have a great weekend there on Sunday 9th October, It was a great spiritual feast where we encouraged one another. This environment is very suitable for such gathering.

08/11/2024: Our first time in Flambe since the change of ownership and name. A big improvement! The place is much brighter, cleaner and the decor is great. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really tasty and fresh. We had Diavolo pizza and fish and chips. Pizzas are Neapolitan style - really quality dough and fresh toppings. Try a bit of balsamic on it - lifts it levels! Some people commented that the crusts are burnt. It’s Neapolitan in a wood fire oven- they’re meant to be that way. Fish was really fresh, thin crispy batter cooked in clean oil.
A really good addition to Trim, we will be back.

31/08/2024: Went here recently with my partner and was served by Robert who was a star. We told him about our potential wedding in the area and he gave us a small tour of the back room which can be hired for events. Which was beautiful. Definitely helped tip the scales for us making a decision for our wedding venue
19/08/2024: Was here for a few pints. The staff were great and very friendly. The place is immaculate and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommended

26/10/2024: Absolute muck. The chicken is black bone which indicates that it’s battery farmed.the ribs were burnt. These people are just about shovelling out any auld much and charging top dollar for it. Very disappointing all round
25/09/2024: Family gathering of seven celebrating exam results. Staff very attentive, food was excellent and facilities clean. This is my go to restaurant for takeaway or sit down. Prices very reasonable too.
