14/10/2025: Friendly staff serving nice food in a timely manner. Very enjoyable.

11/10/2025: I liked this branch but unfortunately standing in the queue like everyone, I get to the front of the queue right up at the till and a person walks in right into my personal space looking at your menu. The staff member comes back to the till and serves the person who skipped me despite the fact I had clearly been standing in that queue like everyone else, the person didn’t have the decency to wait in order like everyone else and the staff member was completely oblivious to this. Instead of saying who’s next she just served him, I then had to wait for approximately 30 minutes for my order and watched the person who skipped , be served and leave. If you check your cctv at approx 19:55 11/10/25 perhaps you can provide your staff with some training to avoid losing more customers.

03/09/2025: As far as chippers go in Navan, you’re simply not going to beat the valley for quality. They are unreal. However they are on the pricier side and chip portions seem to have gotten pretty small in recent years- hence the 4 star. Would rather pay a bit more and get proper portion of chips

29/08/2025: Always love staying here, big spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, great food, and very accessible from where im working without the problems of major traffic, and Ashbourne is a beautiful place also.

31/05/2025: Ordered a snack box with breast piece, chips were good but was given the driest, unfresh lump of a breast piece that I've ever had, to the point that it was nearly inedible. Almost all the crispy skin on it was gone aswell, very dissapointing.

04/10/2025: When we arrived, the window was open so it was freezing cold in the room. I have requested a heather. They wlsaud the heating will turn on in 20min. We have stayed there for 2 nights and we head no heating. We didn't have mugs &spoons in the room. The mattress was so soft therefore I left after 2 days with a bad backache:-( And also we had a long hair in the bath when we arrived. So overall I wouldn't stay here again even though we loved the area/village. People and the beach is amazing ♥️🙏

20/08/2025: Brilliant and spacious bedrooms, lovely and friendly staff and great bonus being able to use the spacious kitchen, and the dinning room was well set up and spacious. The lounge was very comfortable and cosy, very clean and tidy.

13/06/2025: Went for the Sunday carvery, it was perfect. Cost efficient, casual, friendly staff, feels comfy. Place could use a lick of paint but I refuse to hold that against them. Want a carvery on a Sunday you can't go wrong.
