18/10/2025: I didn't really go to the bar. I visited Med street food. Food there very delicious.

08/10/2025: Looks from the outside tiny..actually sprawls the entire town once inside! Pints and food lovely and great craic!

04/10/2025: When we arrived, the window was open so it was freezing cold in the room. I have requested a heather. They wlsaud the heating will turn on in 20min. We have stayed there for 2 nights and we head no heating. We didn't have mugs &spoons in the room. The mattress was so soft therefore I left after 2 days with a bad backache:-( And also we had a long hair in the bath when we arrived. So overall I wouldn't stay here again even though we loved the area/village. People and the beach is amazing ♥️🙏

01/10/2025: Awesome Staff and Great enviroment. Rooms are really clean. Would definitely return. Wifi and a few smaller fixtures could use updating. But our experience here was top tier.

29/08/2025: Always love staying here, big spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, great food, and very accessible from where im working without the problems of major traffic, and Ashbourne is a beautiful place also.

12/11/2025: I would give Henry Loughran 5 out of 5 stars. If I were to summarise: this is a great spot if you’re in Navan, want a friendly, social bar with live music options and a bit of character. For a relaxed and fun bar‐experience it hits the mark. My Tips For Visiting If possible, go before the peak evening crowd (earlier in the evening) to grab a good seat in the beer garden or near the bar. Check whether live music or events are on that night — it can add a lot to the experience. Ask about any drink specials (local craft beers, etc) — staff are friendly. Since it has strong character and heritage, take a moment to appreciate the history of the place (the building dates from the late 19th century).

26/07/2025: If you are looking for a traditional pub, not a place that is all bling and no atmosphere, Henry’s is by far the best place in town!

12/11/2025: I was there today to get a takeaway. The order was 2 small milkshakes, 2 cod portions, a small chip and a large chain. The charge was €32.40 He took €35 from me and I asked for a receipt which he gave me but without any change. Way too costly for a takeaway

05/07/2025: Best Italian food I've had in Ireland, there can't be more than a few places on this level and half them are probably €150pp Michelin stars. You enjoy it more as food is perfectly home cooked with TLC and top ingredients and flavour and it's actually healthy Mediterranean food without cheap chemicals and oils etc typical of modern "food". Digests really well and you feel great even after having a big feed and dessert too. Server was really nice and the chips were perfectly crispy and made from a nice potato. Pizza was custom ordered and very very nice. One of the nicest pizzas I've had. The bourbon vanilla soft serve Italian ice cream and (I forgot the name of it but basically soft pastry wrapped desert with light whipped cream) was very very good I enjoyed the small homemade and very tasty desert more than a big bowl of cheap ice cream which is only chemicals frozen milk and sugar. Bit pricey but it's actually fair for the service and quality of food and ingredients. You just need to know what you're getting and that it is a premium dining experience. With soft drinks, 2 desert, chips and a 12 inch custom pizza between 2 people and a few euro tip to round it the meal came to 50 which was well worth it. Definitely will be back for special occasions.

06/06/2025: Tried Cesare’s for the first time tonight and was really impressed. The food was full of flavour and felt genuinely Italian. We had the pasta and Pizza and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Cosy atmosphere too, great spot for a relaxed meal out. Will definitely be back!

01/12/2025: This evening we had dinner together with my wife and another couple, upstairs in their lovely restaurant with a warm atmosphere, appropriate music and a welcome setup. The menu is a great combination of traditional Romanian dishes and local Irish food, so everyone can find something they enjoy.Even though it was extremely busy the staff handled everything excellently. The service was attentive, friendly , and very efficient, despite the large crowd . The food, the drinks, and the overall ambiance left us with great impression. Congratulations to the entire team at The Oven Clonee! They truly deserve all the stars . We will definitely be back!

13/12/2025: They charge 10% service charge but don't mention it anywhere on menu card. Their payment machine give option of 12%, 20%, 25%, none. After tipping 12% coz overall experience was underwhelming, when I asked for bill, then got to know about built-in service charge of 10%. Had I known about service charge, which is basically tip by default, I would have chosen no additional tip. It's not about just money. It's about feeling deceived. 500ml still water bottle for €4.5 is too much. By the way, highly overpriced (€22 main course dishes with for average taste, quantity), passable service, Below average setup and atmosphere. Won't recommend.

02/12/2025: Placed an order online at 7pm.Got a message to say at 7.50pm there was an issue to call the restuarant.Did so and was told driver should be with us in 15mins. 30mins pass and called the restaurant and was told by the girl that she had checked and the order is sitting there ready for collection. 8.30 phoned again and told food would be with us in 10 minutes. I called the restaurant at 9pm and was told they had not spoken to us previously.She then hung up the phone twice.I called back and asked to speak to a manager as we had placed and order for €144 and wanted a refund at that stage. I was told by the manager that they did not have our order that it was a technical issue. I asked for an email with a receipt proving they had refunded the order after 5 phone calls and 2 hours later on a Saturday night there was alot of hungry and dissapointed people. He then emailed the receipt with the order and the refund so clearly there was no techincal issue. So not really sure why we were being lied to all night. Really bad customer service. I have ordered here alot and sometimes the food was slow but never this kind of issue. I was told there would be a follow up apology email and none was recieved. Please do not take orders and money off people and then lie repeatedly on the phone. Would not be going back to Koyla again based on this experience.

11/11/2025: I decided to get a takeaway last Friday evening as I hadnt prepared anything for dinner. Ordered it at approx 5.30 pm and it arrived about 70 mins later. Couldn't eat it as the chips were competely dry and cold as was the burger. I'm guessing that the takeaway was in the delivery guys car for all that time. Dreadful to think thats acceptable. I emailed them later that evening (7th November) to give them feedback but no responce so hence my decision to publish it.
