15/11/2025: A great place in Lucan with a very tasty traditional breakfast. The place is welcoming and the staff are really friendly. It made for a lovely morning with a warm and pleasant atmosphere all around.

19/06/2026: There last night 18th.June. Set menu and 4 drinks €87 add 10% Service Charge. Service charge for 2 people ?????? We were the first two in the restaurant. Service charge is a joke for 2. Will not be going back and will not recommend it to anyone.

27/05/2026: We ordered Nyonya prawns and black pepper beef, and they were both delicious. The chef is Malaysian, and after traveling for many days, it was great to finally taste the flavors of home. Thumbs up! 👍

24/05/2026: We had a lovely birthday dinner with my husband and his family here today! Thank you so much to the staff for being so helpful with recommendations - everyone loved the food! Will come back soon for more Malaysian food when the cravings hit again ❤️

25/04/2026: Multiple times in a row we’ve come here and we’ve been served real chicken instead of the veggie products. We can tell because they’re so different in appearance, aren’t labeled correctly and taste of chicken. How on earth can that happen? Didn’t even bother going back in the last time because it seems like a bunch of teenagers running the place. Long waits and never getting the correct food. Avoid.

04/04/2026: Every other Burger King we have been to swapped out normal nuggets for veggie nuggets for my daughters kids meal because she chooses not to eat meat. It’s never been an issue but here they instead force you to buy an adult meal and pay for a toy for 9.45 total instead of 5.95. Had to as my son got a kids meal and a toy too. Zero option given for a young child at this location other than pay more.

17/05/2026: I wasn’t impressed with my dining experience today, me and my friends came for a wholesome breakfast which we THOUGHT would be nice, me and my friend ordered matcha not expecting a whole lot but we received a NEON GREEN drink that tasted like someone put a spoon of sugar and green food colouring in milk. DISGRACEFUL When i received my MAPLE BACON WAFFLE, i NEVER revieved my maple syrup (it’s in the name) i asked for some maple syrup and still never received it, absolutely terrible dining experience 😠😠

09/05/2026: Fantastic little cafe, great coffee, great staff. Lots of outside space to sit and enjoy the world go by.

08/06/2026: We were staying in the area and stopped in this pub on a Sunday evening. Everyone, from staff to the local patrons, was so pleasant and they made us (Americans) feel welcomed! We had the best evening enjoying the true Irish spirit. I want to return to this area because of our experience at Daly’s. The food was good and the staff were attentive. Thank you all for this wonderful experience.

03/06/2026: The kitchen has recently changed management at Daly’s. We went for lunch long after lunchtime and long before dinner time but still within the lunch menu window which meant that the stew and the apricot tart made for lunchtime had all been eaten by those who had gone before us. The menu is very short and it is pub grub - roast of the day, pasta with a couple of different sauces, sausage and mash, steak sandwich, etc. Pub grub at its best is great comfort food, and this is what is coming out of the kitchen now if our experience is anything to go by. You party of three went for the roast of the day (chicken), the roast in a sandwich with mushrooms and fried onions, and pasta with mushroom sauce. He who had the pasta had said he wasn’t hungry and announced his intention of taking most of it home to eat later. That intention lasted for about one bite and the delicious crusty roll made in house that came on the side was used to scrape every last drop of sauce off the bowl. The roast sandwich came in one of the same rolls, crisp and crunchy on the outside, with the soft middle soaked in juices, and in the roast dinner the vegetables were bright and fresh, the mash buttery, and the half chicken plump and tender. We shared a huge bowl of simple, delicious, stewed apple with real custard scattered with buttery shortbread crumbs. It takes a lot of confidence for a kitchen to serve this sort of old fashioned country food nowadays. Daly’s with its current chef demonstrates that done properly it can be very good indeed. Main meals for three and one dessert with two coffees, two soft drinks, and a glass of Guinness came to €47
