25/02/2026: I ordered a birthday cake online from The Crusty Corner for delivery. The delivery charge was €10 and the order went through. Two days later they rang/texted me and said that there had been a fault in the system and that they would charge €75 for delivery or else they wouldn't deliver it. Being let down at this stage means that I may be without a cake for my brother's birthday. I run a business myself and, if a mistake on my side caused a customer to be let down, I would fulfill the order as promised and take the small financial hit involved, and then fix the system so that it doesn't happen again. I suggested this to them on the phone but there was no flexibility there. Even to meet in the middle, somewhere between €10 and €75 for delivery, would have shown a bit of goodwill, but there was no goodwill here. There are lots of good bakeries around, avoid this one.

18/09/2025: Got my coffee here couple times, its awhile since I've being back and was shocked to hear 4.20 for flat white i walked out, shameful stuff considering they don't make decent coffee! (PROPER) Plenty places nearby barrista selling flat whites for decent price 3.50 max most are 3.30, also signs up looking for tips and machine automatically looks for tip when paying. The greed

09/01/2026: As a local, I regularly support nearby businesses and normally the food here is good. Our usual order is a spice bag. However, the spice bags are inconsistent. We often ask for extra spice and extra veg, and it has never been chilli-hot. Tonight, ordering exactly the same resulted in a spice bag overloaded with chilli to the point of being almost inedible. This wasn’t extra seasoning — it was extreme heat and completely different to anything we’ve received here before. When I raised the issue, I was told that “extra spice” means extra chilli and very spicy. That explanation doesn’t align with previous orders and no effort was made to clarify or resolve the issue. Instead, the situation was handled poorly and made to feel like my fault, with comments such as “everyone else is fine with it.” The lack of accountability and customer care means I won’t be returning. Clearer communication and consistency are needed.

22/08/2025: I think I had the best cheese burger I have ever tasted. Very polite staff. Quick service. I feel mean only giving the atmosphere 3 stars but its a burger van with outdoor seating. It's a place to sit when its not raining. There is nothing wrong with it (clean and plenty of bins nearby) but it is a place to sit not a place to party. You go for the burger they create, you create your own atmosphere

18/11/2025: We had a delightful and refreshing lunch of freshly made sandwiches and tea. We also bought cakes and baked goods for our breakfast the next day. We had the privilege of meeting the wonderful couple who make the bakery magic happen. Cue the song “Baker-Man” by Laid Back.

04/11/2025: Sometimes you just need a moment to relax, so you go into a café looking to enjoy something tasty and a nice warm coffee in peace… That was our intention until the waitress started rushing us. Several times she came to clear the plates and told us to hurry up because there were more people waiting — when we had only been there, what, 15 minutes? And then we had to wait another half hour standing just to pay?

He had very good manners and he is a very good new hire that you picked up. An absolute credit to this pub. Keep up the good work Jake 👍🏻 I wrote this review a few months ago after incredible service from Jake however it has come to my attention that Jake has sadly been let go. Absolutely disappointing to hear as he was an absolute credit to this pub. We at Ratoath Inn miss him very much 😰#bringbackjake

08/02/2026: Had a great experience at Domino’s Navan. The pizza was fresh, hot, and exactly how it should be. What really stood out was the store manager — very professional, polite, and helpful. He was wearing spectacles and handled everything calmly and efficiently, which really gave a good impression of the place. Customer service like this makes a big difference. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Keep up the great work! 🍕👏

01/02/2026: Arrived and stood around. No one spoke to me or even acknowledged me being there. Eventually I was helped with my order, which was ordered online. Got home and what we ordered was wrong, well not wrong just missing a whole bunch of toppings. No sauce and no burger meat.
