22/08/2025: I think I had the best cheese burger I have ever tasted. Very polite staff. Quick service. I feel mean only giving the atmosphere 3 stars but its a burger van with outdoor seating. It's a place to sit when its not raining. There is nothing wrong with it (clean and plenty of bins nearby) but it is a place to sit not a place to party. You go for the burger they create, you create your own atmosphere

20/09/2026: Lovely café, the staff was really nice. There is plenty of space and even a dedicated small area for children like their own mini café (see photo). The coffee was really good too. They serve sandwiches and cakes similar to Costa. It is also suitable for wheelchair users.

14/06/2026: Got a takeaway from here last night after a night out having a few drinks. I ordered and got a kebab, tapped my card to pay and when I checked this morning they had charged €20....gangsters!!

12/04/2026: Room esp bathroom needs a good clean. No dustbin, gap in flooring , no plug in sink, no bath towel. Skimpy duvet. No detail re wifi apart from a code but not which option to select with two different codes on different notices in the room

10/08/2026: Visited this bar with friends to attend a 30th birthday party & I was very impressed overall. It comprises of a bar, a pool room, a large outdoor beer garden & a comfortable lounge. The outdoor beer garden alone is worth a visit as it is very impressive & a great place to wile away a couple of hours on a sunny day. I was drinking Guinness which was served by a delightful young lady in the bar & it was delicious. All in all a great bar in the heart of Navan, & I will definitely be returning again.

28/09/2026: Spent two days in trim. Found this takeaway, . The place was spotless, food perfect, staff always busy, but so attentive.lovely sit down area,. Looking directly out to the castle that some scenes of Mel Gibson's brave heart was filmed. They have pics on the wall of Mel Gibson, x .also, wonderful pics of huge stars from breaken bad. ...you just need to stop here to eat. ...best burger I've had in years!!!!!. . They give you your food, exactly like you asked!!!! A brilliant crew♥️👍👍👍

20/08/2026: Really nice place, a little gem with stunning food and friendly staff just outside Trim Castle. We got the smoked cod with chips and it was absolutely delicious. 100% recommended.

28/04/2026: The best Chinese takeaway around by far. This village has 3....yes 3 Chinese takeaways and this one leaves the rest behind. To not order from here would make you either stupid or you just don't have any taste when it comes to excellent food.

08/06/2026: We were staying in the area and stopped in this pub on a Sunday evening. Everyone, from staff to the local patrons, was so pleasant and they made us (Americans) feel welcomed! We had the best evening enjoying the true Irish spirit. I want to return to this area because of our experience at Daly’s. The food was good and the staff were attentive. Thank you all for this wonderful experience.

03/06/2026: The kitchen has recently changed management at Daly’s. We went for lunch long after lunchtime and long before dinner time but still within the lunch menu window which meant that the stew and the apricot tart made for lunchtime had all been eaten by those who had gone before us. The menu is very short and it is pub grub - roast of the day, pasta with a couple of different sauces, sausage and mash, steak sandwich, etc. Pub grub at its best is great comfort food, and this is what is coming out of the kitchen now if our experience is anything to go by. You party of three went for the roast of the day (chicken), the roast in a sandwich with mushrooms and fried onions, and pasta with mushroom sauce. He who had the pasta had said he wasn’t hungry and announced his intention of taking most of it home to eat later. That intention lasted for about one bite and the delicious crusty roll made in house that came on the side was used to scrape every last drop of sauce off the bowl. The roast sandwich came in one of the same rolls, crisp and crunchy on the outside, with the soft middle soaked in juices, and in the roast dinner the vegetables were bright and fresh, the mash buttery, and the half chicken plump and tender. We shared a huge bowl of simple, delicious, stewed apple with real custard scattered with buttery shortbread crumbs. It takes a lot of confidence for a kitchen to serve this sort of old fashioned country food nowadays. Daly’s with its current chef demonstrates that done properly it can be very good indeed. Main meals for three and one dessert with two coffees, two soft drinks, and a glass of Guinness came to €47

17/09/2026: I asked for stake calzone with peppercorn sauce and mushrooms and got spicy chicken with peppers and onions which I hate have had to waste money cause can’t eat it gone to bin now chips were soft also not happy at all.

27/06/2026: Having heard lots about this place, I had to check it out. The food is fairly good. I would say above average chicken wings. Wing sauce is lacking. The curry I had was a bit on the bland side. Their pad thai spring rolls, again a bit bland. Prawn crackers are premium and come with their own dip. I would probably have returned for the wings alone, but for two bug bears- It is (in my view) fairly overpriced. The wings, plus two large spring rolls, plus 1 curry, 1 rice was just approaching 40 quid. Bear in mind this is from a food van in a car park. Secondly, the order which had been placed online was handed to me, and in the same motion I was told I could tip her by card. A tip? For handing me my 3 items in a bag? This isn't America lads. Like an absolute ejit I tipped anyway, because of course I did. I won't be back unfortunately. Still, 3 stars as I got the food I asked for, and I ate it and it was grand.

08/07/2026: So much more than an Italian restaurant! Swithered between the roast duck + mash and the hake on a bed of seafood risotto. Went for hake and it was fab. Other meal is creamy lemon chicken, loads of great sauce. Great list of desserts too.
