31/03/2025: If you want an overpriced wait this is the place. **update morning after my brother was up all night vomiting and my son had diarrhea all night** We went here for mothers day. Booked a table at 5 for 5 people. Very very very very very very very long wait restaurant was full and everyone seemed to have an excruciating long wait. They seen to have focused more in people getting take away & delivery. We ordered starters and mains we wer nearly 3hrs in total which is crazy very very very very very slow table service. Starters between €5 & €10 mains are between €17 upwards peice not including rice or chips 🤔 for the price I thought it was very small portions. Mine was very spicy so I ordered Rita to cool it down but was told that could not be made?????? They gave me some very very watered down mint yoghurt and a very very small pot of it. Chicken was inedible very tough hard to cut and chew overall we weren't happy. We had cinema booked for 7 pm as we thought that 2hours would be plenty of time to eat and get there but unfortunately it wasn't so we missed cinema that was prepaid. Kids weren't happy 😕 So if you want an overpriced wait this is the place. I could actually feel myself age sitting there waiting.....

09/01/2025: Food is not good! I had beef fajitas and the beef was tough and the sauce was a strange taste. My daughter ordered a pizza and there was an odd tasting tomato sauce and lots of it. She changed her pizza for a burger and it was dry and tough and even the chips were overcooked and tasteless. We won’t be returning.

30/12/2024: Visited Kelly's on a Friday afternoon, got some superb pizza from the place out the back. Totally worth a visit!

20/11/2024: Bar half empty and toilet floor like an ice rink. No maintenance and no excuse for it.

23/07/2024: Nice location along the coast. We were disappointed with the quality of the fairways and many of the greens on the 2nd nine. No notice before the round and no accommodation with the green fee. Nice staff in the clubhouse, but not again in terms of golf, there are many alternatives nearby.

11/07/2024: Best place in dunshaughlin for fresh cakes. Great variety and great prices. Cheapest coffee in the village by a long shot. Staff a pleasure too. Can't recommend highly enough.

19/11/2024: This restaurant/cafe on the main street in Bunclody is a gem. Very friendly staff, well cooked food, lovely atmosphere and a very extensive menu. They use local produce and have local honey, preserves etc.. on sale as well. I would definitely visit again if in the area.

03/02/2025: Expensive. Chain coffee so quality is entirely down to your taste / tolerance, and the staff are friendly ... but Insomnia's prices have got too much. Two medium coffees now cost 25c shy of €10. Insane. Just walk around corner to Chez Emily for nice, much cheaper coffees
