The best restaurants in Meath

05/10/2025: I got a cappuccino there yesterday. Milk was burnt and the coffee was terrible. Lovely building and nice service but coffee was undrinkable

01/10/2025: On entering the cafe/shop, I was abruptly told I would not be permitted a coffee in the lounge on the basis that I had a buggy (travel buggy - suitable as cabin luggage) and in the event of an fire I would block the exit. There were no other patrons in the lounge area at the time. I wasn't given the opportunity to take my baby out or fold the buggy and was asked to leave. Those with accessibility needs are obviously not welcome here.

31/05/2025: The old,foren black hair women at the counter, absoliutely joke,no manniers,bad attitude,she not control herself,screaming,shouting,hope soon going to be fired!

07/05/2025: Milkshake first class....never had better.

08/10/2025: Tried a couple of items on the menu on several different occasions. Doner kebab and Chicken Kiev kebab are really good. Portions are good as well. If you go for a meal deal, one might even feed 2 people.

18/08/2025: The chicken shish meat was delicious, but the huge amount of sauce took away from it. They should put it on the side. Very well packaged for delivery.

22/11/2025: Well, all I can say Lorna knocked my daughters birthday cake out of the park this year. Again. I've been getting my daughters cakes in there since she was 7. Jasmine always does a detailed sketch of what she wants her cake to look like. Each year Lorna makes it look just like Jasmines sketch. And the attention to detail is 2nd to none. Lorna,you're fantastic! Highly, highly recommend. Oh and her Mother is lovely to. 🙂

16/09/2025: I ordered a birthday cake and Lorna really did exceed expectations!! It was incredibly delicious, very professionally designed and turned out to be a real crowd pleaser. Highly recommend ordering with her! Thank you, Lorna.

12/10/2025: We spent 2 nights in this establishment. The room was ok, seemed clean enough. The toilet was leaking water, shower was cold, TV was broken. We contacted them about the TV, they were no help at all. The food in the pub was mediocre and overpriced for the quality and portion size. However the drinks were nice though and the wait and bar staff in there were very friendly. The room rules included a rule against food in the room, which insinuates they want you to spend money in the pub. On our second night we went to the chipper down the road, which is absolutely lovely. I don't think we'd be visiting again.

16/09/2025: Only disco left in Navan. Can be quiet, can be packed. Depends on the crowd you go with but service can be slow and seems over priced. Still better to have it than not!

13/11/2025: Went in to get a sparkling water to drink with my medication around 11am told the girl I was just charging my phone before I can pay her. She then demanded I pay before I get served a drink 🤣 .. any other bar or restaurant in the town you can order a drink and pay afterwards it’s not like it’s a rough area. Her excuse was shes never seen me before neither have I and lived in the town my whole life. Won’t be back for a long time understand it’s hard to get staff that aren’t rude. Maybe send her for one day at manors school 🏫 probably wouldn’t be enough. Also 2 other staff behind counter wouldnt but in to give me a drink or defend her or me. 3 staff behind a bar 1 man youd think he could get a drink of water nevermind a beer 😭 also said if you have no money i cant serve you basically defaming my character of course i have money i would never go into a bar without money.

06/11/2025: Fantastic table service from Jake. He was very kind and friendly and was very chatty as well. He mentioned to me that he is only new. He had very good manners and he is a very good new hire that you picked up. An absolute credit to this pub. Keep up the good work Jake 👍🏻 I wrote this review a few months ago after incredible service from Jake however it has come to my attention that Jake has sadly been let go. Absolutely disappointing to hear as he was an absolute credit to this pub. We at Ratoath Inn miss him very much 😰#bringbackjake

26/10/2025: I stopped there by chance because I was very hungry and the place was nearby, so I ordered one of their dishes. Hunger is the best spice, so the food tasted quite good, but I wouldn't say it was traditional Indian food, as I've had a few authentic Indian dishes. However, the price was undoubtedly rather high for the amount of food. In short, if you want something different and price isn't a factor, you can eat something once in a while.

23/09/2025: We were traveling from County Mayo Yesterday and stopped at Khan Tandoori and it turned out to be a huge mistake. The service was careless and unfriendly, the food was bland and poorly made, and the prices were shockingly high for what was served. It felt like a complete rip-off. The whole experience left us frustrated and disappointed. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place—there are far better restaurants that actually care about their customers and the quality of food they serve!

23/09/2025: Usual chain style cafe with the standard coffee options and pastries/toasties Large outdoor seating area. At corner of a shopping centre carpark and is reasonably quiet give ease of parking near entrance.

20/10/2025: Only went for a too good to go bag, but got a coffee when I was there Super friendly chatty worker, who was quick to serve Tasty coffee Average prices Somewhat limited outdoors seating, but I think the idea is takeaway etc Dog friendly with treats on the table for them Plenty of parking at the back
