31/07/2026: On a family day out we called in for food after a tour of Trim Castle. Staff were lovely, place very clean and food was tasty! The fresh cod and chips were delicious.

03/07/2026: Brought a large group of 15 here and the staff handled us quickly and stayed friendly the whole time. Most of us went with the fish and chips and it hit the mark, perfect every time. Right across from Trim Castle, which makes it an ideal grab-and-go spot. We skipped sitting inside since it was a bit stuffy, but that worked out great because there’s a nice grassy stretch and a little park with picnic tables right outside. Sat at the foot of the castle with a good breeze and it made the whole meal. Highly recommend for takeaway, especially if the weather’s on your side.

12/04/2026: Room esp bathroom needs a good clean. No dustbin, gap in flooring , no plug in sink, no bath towel. Skimpy duvet. No detail re wifi apart from a code but not which option to select with two different codes on different notices in the room

29/12/2025: Love this spot, great pints, great food, and a bit of music on a weekend. One of the hidden gems of ireland. The staff are excellent.

08/07/2026: So much more than an Italian restaurant! Swithered between the roast duck + mash and the hake on a bed of seafood risotto. Went for hake and it was fab. Other meal is creamy lemon chicken, loads of great sauce. Great list of desserts too.

10/05/2026: Today I went to this car wash and chose the most expensive wash option, expecting a proper premium service. Instead, I basically got my car sprayed with water only — no foam, no proper cleaning, nothing close to what was advertised. Very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the money. Terrible service.

24/05/2025: Was a bit disappointed with my visit. Staff abrupt, when we asked what cakes they had was told just what's in the counter ... Lol we had to get up to walk around and see (I mean yeah ok not precious but would expect you to be able to tell me what's available!). Yeah just overall disappointed. One positive is the table next to us had a BLT and it looked amazing.

24/05/2025: The cafe is extremely pleasant in a quiet location. The food is all homemade by the owner operator. The staff are superb, friendly, and accommodating. Service is prompt, and the prices are very reasonable. The design of the location in terms of seating inside and outside, when weather permits is excellent. I highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: So, nice place. I had the Mexican Beef Wrap which was delicious.Then, for dessert, I asked what flavour was their cheesecake. Lemon cheesecake and 'normal cheesecake' was the answer. When I asked what 'normal' meant, I was informed it was the one without any flavour, amusingly. So, I had lemon, which was very good too, though perhaps a slightly small portion. Good food, nice atmos, friendly staff. Recommended!

08/06/2026: We were staying in the area and stopped in this pub on a Sunday evening. Everyone, from staff to the local patrons, was so pleasant and they made us (Americans) feel welcomed! We had the best evening enjoying the true Irish spirit. I want to return to this area because of our experience at Daly’s. The food was good and the staff were attentive. Thank you all for this wonderful experience.

03/06/2026: The kitchen has recently changed management at Daly’s. We went for lunch long after lunchtime and long before dinner time but still within the lunch menu window which meant that the stew and the apricot tart made for lunchtime had all been eaten by those who had gone before us. The menu is very short and it is pub grub - roast of the day, pasta with a couple of different sauces, sausage and mash, steak sandwich, etc. Pub grub at its best is great comfort food, and this is what is coming out of the kitchen now if our experience is anything to go by. You party of three went for the roast of the day (chicken), the roast in a sandwich with mushrooms and fried onions, and pasta with mushroom sauce. He who had the pasta had said he wasn’t hungry and announced his intention of taking most of it home to eat later. That intention lasted for about one bite and the delicious crusty roll made in house that came on the side was used to scrape every last drop of sauce off the bowl. The roast sandwich came in one of the same rolls, crisp and crunchy on the outside, with the soft middle soaked in juices, and in the roast dinner the vegetables were bright and fresh, the mash buttery, and the half chicken plump and tender. We shared a huge bowl of simple, delicious, stewed apple with real custard scattered with buttery shortbread crumbs. It takes a lot of confidence for a kitchen to serve this sort of old fashioned country food nowadays. Daly’s with its current chef demonstrates that done properly it can be very good indeed. Main meals for three and one dessert with two coffees, two soft drinks, and a glass of Guinness came to €47
