08/12/2024: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ i can’t recommend The Blackwater in Kells enough! Not only is the food and atmosphere top-notch, but the staff go above and beyond. Trish, in particular, was incredible—so kind, caring, and thoughtful. She even went out of her way to drop us home, which was beyond generous. It’s rare to find such amazing hospitality these days. We’ll definitely be back—thank you, Trish, for making our experience unforgettable!

12/03/2025: Food was very, very poor, looks great on tic tok and on google reviews thats why we went, but I would definitely not recommend a visit, restaurant was not clean and food was very poor, only good feedback I have was the staff could not of been nicer .

09/03/2025: We ordered the TCO and NBD burgers, along with garlic cheese chips and bacon and cheese chips. The burgers were fantastic pure, high quality beef, incredibly juicy, and delicious. The portions were generous. However, when it came to the chips, both portions were overwhelmingly salty by far the saltiest I’ve ever had. Neither my wife nor I could eat more than half due to the excessive saltiness. Overall, this would have been a perfect 10+, but because of the salt issue, I’d rate it a 9. The music was also quite loud, but aside from these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend this place to everyone. In terms of value for money, you definitely get more than expected.

06/03/2025: This place used to be amazing. This visit was an utter disaster. We felt like an inconvenience for the staff. When we arrived, we were greeted with; "The carvery is finished." No welcome or "Hello, how can we help?" When we ordered, they forgot to send our order to the kitchen. Food was uninspiring. When it was time to pay we had to go looking for the staff. What happened to this place?

04/03/2025: Nice place to stop for a break and for dinner when heading back to Belfast from Dublin. Food is good, as evidenced by the place always being busy. Reservations are recommended. When there are functions on the service can be a little slow but never too bad.

12/02/2025: I'm ashamed to say it but I've lived in Navan my whole life and only last week was the first time I've ever had dinner in China Garden and wow!! The interior of the restaurant is absolutely stunning (so much so I had to take pictures) and the food is absolutely delicious, so so so tasty. The staff there were so lovely and friendly, it appeared most of them have been working there for many many years which just goes to show how well the business is ran. Special shout out to the staff that work in the takeaway section they've always been so lovely and friendly. I'd also like to note that I once rang at 10:50 (they close at 11) to chance ordering a takeaway and they took my order without hesitation and had it ready by 10:59! It's no wonder they've been in business since 1979 with standards and ethics like this! Would recommend to everyone and anyone 😄

20/02/2025: Little sicily lovely food, nice ambience big portions couldn't even squeeze a dessert in. Great choice of foods and great pizza selection. The service was excellent as was the brie, spicy chicken, caramelised onion pizza drizzled with honey. We will definitely be eating here again.Great value. On other occasions we enjoyed the casar salad and a sicilian pizza both were very tasty and the staff were very friendly always great value.

05/01/2025: Can't believe they rased the price of an oat coffie by 75c said it was down to the cost of oat and soya and Almond milk so anything other then normal milk is up 75c at the coffie spot.

18/02/2025: Took a stop here to grab some waffles and hot chocolate after visiting hill of Tara. The place has a very cozy vibe and a lovely attentive staff.

16/03/2025: Had an amazing meal at Conyngham Arms Restaurant! The Caesar chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Baileys & dark chocolate cheesecake was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
