The best restaurants in Meath

14/08/2025: I love to visit Indian restaurants as im a big fan of the cuisine, there are a few to choose from in navan Town but copper amd spices is my favourite. I often visit sometimes with my husband and sometimes with the whole family . There is a great kids menu and price includes a choice of dessert wheich is a bonus as my kids especially love chocolate brownies!! A favourite in ny household is butter chicken and our waiter told us its no problem to change from the option of korma to butter chicken in kids portion. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated , you can't help but feel a beautiful ambient atmosphere from the moment you sit down. The menu is georgous as is the drinks menu . I like to try different dishes every time I visit and as a vegetarian customer, coppers and spices have so much choice and can easily accommodate any dish I may want to suit my diet . I highly recommend this Indian to friends and family members and it never fails to impress.

23/08/2025: Fab food and fab service. We've had takeaway from here many times but decided to sit in tonight. Food was exceptional

31/07/2025: Pros: It was very clean, staff were nice. Cons: Main portions were tiny with very little meat. Rice portion was also tiny. Nan bread had a very slight unpleasant aftertaste. Poppadom condiments did not seem fresh. Way overpriced for what you get. I left there hungry, which is never acceptable. I won't be back.

17/08/2025: I get delivery from here very often and it is always delicious. Even better to reheat the leftovers the next day. My partner loves the spice bag and I get a chicken ball meal with salt and chilli chips.

30/07/2025: The service was exceptional, and the portions were generous, leaving me fully satisfied. I appreciated the convenience of the free car park, making my visit hassle-free. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

14/07/2025: Lovely place to take your break in any moment of the day. They have Centra and you can always buy fresh and warm food. The chocolate croissants are absolutely delicious. Is not busy and you can always enjoy your break in a pleasant silence. Definitely I will come back. Thanks.

15/09/2025: myself and my partner went in over the weekend, had an absolutely fabulous meal and beautiful cocktails😊the waitresses were fantastic couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend giving it a try. Only fault i could give is the music is slightly loud but other than that the place is wonderful

05/08/2025: We stopped there for lunch between the visit of Loughcrew and Fore abbey. The place was quiet. We really like the decoration. We had carvery dishes as main, leg of lamb and turkey and ham. They were very nice, and so were the side dishes. That was very good. The deserts were not as good, still ok. The apple pie's crust was very soggy though the filling was nice. And why the plastic cup under the ice cream? Setvice was good.

21/08/2025: We had a reservation for 8:00 p.m., but arrived half an hour early. It wasn't a problem, though. We had Chicken Tikka Masala and Khan's Special Curry. We also had Khan's Special Rice and Garlic Naan. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were pleased that the chef personally greeted and said goodbye to us.

21/08/2025: Excellent Indian restaurant in Trim.

06/09/2025: Had a fillet steak, asked for medium done, unfortunately it was overcooked. Prawns were nice. Staff was quick tho and fairly pleasant. Name steakhouse does not suit the place. Sorry but would not go back.

05/08/2025: The food was absolutely delicious, the waiter was so nice and attentive, the moment that he saw my mom and stepdad trying to share food he offered plates to share the food without us asking, he took good care of us. Will definetely come back. We had the 8oz Steak, Ravioli and pizza, I tried all 3 and they were delicious. It is a small place so when its full of people it can get a bit noisy but there's not much they can do about that. 10/10!

08/03/2025: Lovely place to watch the rugby. Roaring fire and dog friendly too

13/09/2025: I got a sausage roll which was nice. My partner got a waffle with banana , and a tiny Dribble of Nutella. The waffle was stone cold so exchange it for a apple crumble, which was ok. Had to go back and ask for a refund. We also witnessed one member of staff handling food with there Bare hands while using the cash register and making coffees , so that was a Red flag. Staff are lovely Though.

01/09/2025: Super cozy, I discovered it while waiting for the bank to open. I need to comeback with the wife. Lovely shop and a very friendly girl served my tea.

28/08/2025: I travel from Dubai to Roscommon at least twice a year and I take a detour by Trim to have Pascal’s smoked cod. Remind’s me of my childhood in Trim. My brother has come from New York and the first stop is the Castle Chipper.

21/08/2025: So, the fish and chips here was pretty amazing. Just good, hole-in-the-wall greasy, fresh-battered cod and ample greasy chips. Yum. People there were friendly, but you have to pay extra for condiments, then we didn't actually get them, and they don't really do vinegar in Ireland (that's a British thing), but we didn't get tartar sauce either. Then I couldn't get their attention. Food was tasty, though.

10/08/2025: Ordered soup and Silver Tankard toastie and it was delicious, full of filling,ham,cheese, and toastefto perfection.Delicious.Soup mushroom was tasty but a bit on the warm side,needed to be hotter..Cost was very affordable, Staff very nice pleasant and well turned out dress wise.Hair up back and off face.

06/09/2025: I never review anything normally. I have to speak out about the atrocity of a "breakfast roll" and coffe I paid over 15 euro for. I left with the takeaway bag and when I was back on the road I opened it. Firstly, it was not even a roll. It was a horror show sandwich. Two slices of soft, floppy, thin, unbuttered sourdough flanked an absolute mess of barely cooked meat. The bottom layer was a thick battery of cut in half wet soggy flavourless sausages who's only well cooked part were the peeling casings, which slithered off, leaving behind joyness luke warm meat fingers. There were half inch thick puddings the size of the palm of your hand, only cooked on one side. Also deeply without taste. The gooey meat texture sticking to your mouth, offering only sadness. The unsalted egg was sad but it was cooked ok. I was hoping the rashers, of which there were too many, would offer a salty seasoned bite to the rest of the blank meat pudge, but they too were just warm wet plain and fatty. The combination of it all smelled faintly like a wet draining board. It was repulsive. I am not a picky eater. I love a cheap breakfast roll from a petrol station, a gourmet one from a specialist deli, and everything in between. This food was dirt. Also the coffee was completely stale and under extracted, tasted like the water ran straight past the puck. Probably for good reason. Service was confusing. I placed my order for a breakfast roll and was ignored completely from that point on by the person I ordered it from, who didn't ask about butter / sauces and who said yes, they do rolls (a lie). Someone else came and took my coffee order and payment. He was alright. Everyone was standing around confused as to where the q was, who was next, where to get service etc.

10/08/2025: I got salad but it was smothered in sauce and I couldn't taste the other ingredients as a result. There was very little on the plate once the goats cheese was set aside, a lot of lettuce but as it was so covered in sauce, it made it difficult to eat without slobbering yourself in the process. We also ordered focaccia which was very tasty and my son enjoyed it. The stirfry was nice as well. Soup was over peppered so it made it taste unpleasant for my daughter. I tried it and found the same. We ordered some sweet foods as well which were nice. The mixed berry bakewell was not the freshest. It was reheated which made the base pastry really hard and I felt it was harder to use utensils so I opted to just eat it by hand. Our tea and coffee were nice but they didnt bring the milk despite being asked for it. We had to go to the counter to ask for the additional food we ordered and the table wasn't cleared from our first course so we had to place the dishes to the center of the table to eat comfortably. We also had a baby with us and it was a bit crammed to navigate the buggy about. There was no child seats visible in the dining area and we weren't offered one. Overall I was disappointed as I thought this would have been a better experience and the price didn't reflect the products or service.
