12/04/2026: Super old fashioned greasy spoon trucker/biker/family diner …. No fuss … super breakfasts with huge portions for the ‘hungrier’ animal …. Lashings of tea and toast ….,, a big hit with families with hungry kids …. Lisa with her face full of smiles and audible laughter coming from the kitchen …. Definitely worth a repeat visit

13/05/2026: I used to love this place but my God has the quality gone to absolute bits. Ordered for deliver and when the food arrived, not only was the food cold. But the "chilli cheese" fries has to go straight into the bin the meat was so horrible and clearly out of date. The driver also forgot one of the drinks and when I called the restaurant to ask for it they said they couldn't send a driver for just one drink. I explained it was not one drink it was the rest of my order that I have paid for. I was told id just have to bring it up with just eat. Given its also quite pricey I would recommend ANYWHERE in Navan over this place.

12/05/2026: I only get a milkshake to take away as I think it is way way to expensive to eat here, which is a shame because I would eat here if it wes less expensive to do so and people would stop using the trem Eddie rockets empty your pockets....

18/05/2026: If you want a real Sunday lunch this is the place. The food was absolutely beautiful. So tasty and great value. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were served so quickly. The portions are huge and the desserts!! They were lovely too. Highly recommend and we ll definitely be back

18/10/2025: We stopped by The Stag’s Head and got a super warm welcome, even though we accidentally came in the back door before they were open. The folks there were great they even pointed us toward a few good spots to grab food until they opened back up. Gotta say, the Guinness is spot on (as it should be), and the apple cider’s a very close second.

04/05/2026: I rarely feel strongly enough to write a review like this, but our experience at WTF Burger was so frustrating and disappointing that it honestly needs to be said. We went as a group of 5 and had been really looking forward to it, especially since it came highly recommended by multiple friends. Walking in, the dining area looked clean and had a nice atmosphere, which made us even more optimistic. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of the night. From the moment we sat down, the service was cold and dismissive. There was no sense of friendliness or attentiveness. We ordered 4 burgers, tenders, and a few sides. When ordering the tenders, we made a point of asking whether the honey buffalo sauce was spicy. We were clearly told it was not spicy and leaned more towards a sweet honey flavour. When the food arrived, it was immediately obvious something was wrong. The mozzarella bricks with THE ***SAME*** sauce were mild and sweet, exactly as described while the tenders were the complete opposite. They were aggressively spicy to the point of being genuinely inedible. Not just a mild kick, but the kind of heat that completely overwhelms everything else. On top of that, they were drenched in grease, to an almost absurd level. It felt like eating oil with a bit of chicken underneath. The entire portion was left untouched. The fries were another issue altogether. They were so heavily salted that they were practically inedible. We left two full portions behind because they were simply too much to eat. The mac and cheese never arrived with the rest of the food. We had to chase it up ourselves by flagging down the same waitress who took our order. When we politely mentioned that we were still waiting on it, she snapped back with “oh so you want to add on mac and cheese?” and walked away before we could even correct her. It was although she refused to realize her mistake (forgetting the portion) and just dismissed me. When it eventually came out, it was completely bland, with no seasoning whatsoever. There was no salt on the table to fix it, and no staff came near us to check on anything during the entirety of the meal. Afterwards, we raised the issue with the tenders to the same waitress, explaining that we had specifically asked about the spice level and had been misinformed. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she responded with “well next time you’re here maybe order them without the spice.” It was dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly quite rude. By that stage, the experience had completely ruined the evening. We had planned on ordering dessert, especially the cookie skillet, but the lack of service and attitude from staff put us off entirely. When we asked for the bill, we spoke to the host on shift. We calmly explained that we were not happy to pay for the tenders since they were inedible and left untouched. Rather than resolving the situation professionally, he argued back, insisting it made no sense because the mozzarella had the same sauce. He went on about how they “balance the spice” with '12 sticks of butter' and other ingredients, completely ignoring the fact that the tenders were overwhelmingly spicy while the mozzarella was not. It felt like he was more interested in proving a point than actually listening. The interaction became uncomfortable, with him standing there trying to justify it instead of addressing the issue. Only after this back and forth did he reluctantly agree to remove it from the bill. Overall, the service was shockingly poor. Staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unapproachable. The food was inconsistent at best and inedible at worst. The burgers were okay but nothing to brag about, loaded with way too much grease and sauce, which made them overwhelming rather than enjoyable. The only redeeming part of the experience was the bar woman, who made excellent pornstar martinis and was the only person who seemed to know what they were doing. Aside from that, the entire experience was a letdown. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
