12/10/2025: Dined there yesterday. Forever grateful this place found a space for us to eat after being rejected by fully booked restaurants. These guys did everything to sit us without a booking. We were starving 😄 Cousy atmosphere, very fast service. We had wings as a starter and burger as a main. Wings were 10/10. Burger was good, but I would add more sauce — it was a bit dry. Skinny fries were 10/10 as well. Also, just a small note to management — wine service isn’t there. Young staff don’t know how to serve wine properly. But that’s just a detail. Overall, 5 out of 5.

21/09/2025: Food was nice unfortunately non existent service didnt make it an experience to remember. Took ages to take our order after we sat down. Nobody checked on us .When we were done nobody cleared our plates , i wanted to ask for dessert for my little one birthday but i gave up.

07/11/2025: The Thai food takeaway is lovely however the portions have git smaller and the price higher so much so that we've just stop buying as it's not worth it. Can take a good while to collect after ordering too.

01/12/2025: Really great burgers. Nicely sized portions. The fries and sides were a perfect size to share. Everything was served really quickly. The mocktails are responsibly priced. Nice music playlist that wasn't too loud so we could easily have a conversation. We'll definitely be back to try the chicken burgers, mozzarella cubes and cookie desserts! Nice and warm too!

21/11/2025: Went here last night, Waited for 40 minutes for the food but didn’t mind as waitress warned us about the wait. but when the food came out of the kitchen the chicken was pink ! didn’t eat it. Disappointed as heard a lot of people say how nice of a place this was.

06/09/2025: Fantastic kayaking trip on the Boyne River. Two wonderful hours of nature on the calm waters of the river, accompanied by countless bird species, fish, and so much tranquility. Thank you, James!

23/08/2025: We celebrated a 21st birthday at this pub a few weeks ago, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The venue is beautiful and the service was exceptional. The team went above and beyond for us, so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Thank you so much for making the night so special! We honestly couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely outstanding venue and service!💚

22/11/2025: Met up with a group for some celebrations, everyone had something different from their extensive menu. The food was exceptional. Everyone of us raved about our meals. Staff where really pleasant and attentive, will most definitely be back.

05/08/2025: We stopped there for lunch between the visit of Loughcrew and Fore abbey. The place was quiet. We really like the decoration. We had carvery dishes as main, leg of lamb and turkey and ham. They were very nice, and so were the side dishes. That was very good. The deserts were not as good, still ok. The apple pie's crust was very soggy though the filling was nice. And why the plastic cup under the ice cream? Setvice was good.

25/11/2025: Food was good & tasty. Starters of mushrooms was 4 halves of medium/small mushroom - Could be slightly bigger please. Surf & turf was solid, steak slightly medium as opposed to requested m/rare. Tiramisu tasty. Would recommend as local. Not expensive but not cheap either.

31/10/2025: Peaceful atmosphere, lovely welcome. Let's talk about the rib eye, perfectly cooked, full of flavour, succulent, accompaniment of veg and mash were perfectly cooked al-dente (veg) and creamy(mash) pepper corn sauce was up to the same standard, I eat out probably twice a month and this is the best restaurant meal I have eaten this year. Bravo
