27/02/2025: Service was kind - but heard others complain about it being slow - it was match day but the place wasn't packed. Had a poor Bulmers and Cheeseburger and chips, the bun was cold and the meat way over cooked otherwise an average burger, but the chips was just bad (at least plenty of it). We’ve also had chicken croquetas but these seem to just be some frozen balls from Supervalu which barely has chicken. And the chicken wings were also unfortunately below average.

23/02/2025: I really like this place, I gave it 5 stars a year ago, but the last 3 times ive been there for food it really wasn't good. Feels like everything is being reheated, the chips and burger were so cold and dry. Such a pity, kept going back hoping it was a once off.

19/01/2025: Be careful, if you don't request sauces you get given hot chilli and garlic mayo. I ordered a kebab tray and never got asked what sauces were needed and they proceeded to put on hot chilli and garlic mayo as default. I asked why and got told that if you don't get asked or didn't request different these are the sauces you are given. My partner has an issue with garlic so this needs to be escalated. It might be easier to ask the paying customer and not take upon yourselves to choose the sauces.

14/12/2024: Delicious food, been here 2 times. I really like potatoes and the quality of fish and products. A large portion of potatoes and what went with it. A good alternative for those who like McDonald's or something similar, where you can eat well in one serving. The staff is good and brings the order to the table. Good institution, I recommend it

29/03/2025: I usually love Eddie’s chips but recently I waited ages for one bag of chips that tasted a few days old. Will stick with Gigas and Giovanni’s in oranmore going forward. Staff are nice and friendly but that was disappointing

12/03/2025: Have been ordering online almost weekly for the past couple of months and have been so satisfied with the quality of food and the taste is amazing the stuffed cheesy crust is a must! The delivery drivers are always so respectful and happy when delivering the food. Adore this place, the staff truly work well and the negative reviews just don't make sense to me. Food is always delivered on time, fresh and hot.

02/12/2024: Pizza Dog is good but it's not as good as it thinks. The food is good but I'm afraid they're taking advantage of the cost of living crisis a tad to the point where the prices are bordering on ridiculous. I used to order from here once a week, not it's once every few months. Best wings around though.

28/02/2025: The restaurant could be nicer with tables to eat in. That is why only 3 stars for the atmosphere and a 4 star general rating. I guess everyone orders and takes away or gets delivered.

11/03/2025: Terminó tirando todo lo que no fuera batido en el cubo. La salsa de curry parecía que había sido regurgitada. El conductor no tenía ni idea de dónde ir y tuvimos que ir a buscarlo. No malgastes tu dinero. Debería haber leído las críticas anteriores diciendo lo mismo

05/03/2025: Sometimes u get a scoop of chips with items like a pie or sausage. Sometimes u don't. Consistency would be better. Food is good but sometimes orders can be wrong, as in wrong sauce or items missing. Still nice irish chipper

17/02/2025: Delicious pizzas, special mention for the gluten free pizza and garlic bread pizza too. Happy kids, husband and gluten free me. Casual dine in area, cosy and warm with the wood burning pizza oven. I would drive 3.5 hours back here now that I’ve found it.

21/11/2024: Up from Cork for a weekend and we were told that this place was good and it did not disappoint. Very friendly lovely staff and the prices were very reasonable even in this economy. Also a sitdown option which was very handy given that there was not much in New Ross generally. The munch box was the best option for me and very cheap with loads of variety unit.

21/02/2025: Great place - food is reasonably priced & tasty, portions are filling, on the rare occasion I've had issue out of the MANY times ordering here, it's gotten resolved by just calling. If you like cheese, you have to try the blue cheese topping, I had my doubts the first time ordering it, and then I got hooked on it for the better part of 2 years

29/11/2024: Longterm customers because we always get what we ask for but it was late, cold, weirdly over cooked and not what we asked for. We won't be doing that again, can be hit and miss but never this bad. For the price it's just not worth the risk of getting food only fit for the bin

31/12/2024: I visited Sliced in Ballincollig with one other person after hearing positive opinions from people who had their lunchtime sandwiches. I was more than impressed with what we got. I knew Sliced since they first opened in Cork city centre as a pizza/pasta restaurant. I usually have pizza for dinner and when I heard they offered good sandwiches, I thought to visit at lunchtime to see what it was like. The site in Ballincollig is roomy and bright. The staff were very kind and found a table for us immediately on arrival. It was not busy at the time we arrived, around 1.30pm on a Thursday. The menu is the same as what is on their website. We ordered the Guac Chicken Wrap and Chicken Caesar Wrap. Both were served with salad and tortilla crisps. Soup or chips were available as side orders. Both dishes tasted amazing. The reason I am not giving the food five stars is because they should have made it clear to customers that there is a salad and tortillas with the order. I was close to ordering a side salad but happy I did not since it was already on the plate. The price for both sandwiches was just over €20 which is not bad given the serving size and presentation. I would recommend Sliced to anyone dining out for lunch in Ballincollig.
