29/09/2024: I speak with 12 years experience is hospitality industry, this is not 5 start experience. Catastrophic customer service, inexperienced served not knowing dishes on the menu being smalles issue, pointing finger at menu card, unsure of what is and isn't available, with zero compression how to great and engage guest. Owner chatting with mentuoned server by the bar, I heard all details of their conversation. Could have done without. Table not cleared promptly. Owner on the phone instead. There was 12 maybe 16 sits in the venue, not like it was busy, but we sat with empty plates in front if us for 10 minutes. Cutlery set on the wrong side. Zero ambiance, really awkward, tables not dressed, music too quiet. You want to charge 60£ per meal for two, slap a tealight on the table, that would really help to justify to starts. I was give tea with ONE sashet of sugar. ONE Owner flopping around in her flip-flops around. Lift your feet woman. Honestly. Don't get me wrong, your restaurant you do you, but damn thats was such a poor experience. Food not authentic, I can tell cheap tomato from vine tomatoes. Canned artichokes. Wasn't offered balsamic or olive oil on the table. Super stingy with cheese sprinkles. No warm welcome or goodbye. Half menu 86 (not available) How do you run out of fries? Questionable wine per glass, I had wine once or twice wine before I am confident I can te the difference, I was not served what I ordered, some awful cheap red liquid instead. If you are not local like me, do yourself a favor and visit a very descent pub not far from, Highwayman.

31/12/2024: I visited Sliced in Ballincollig with one other person after hearing positive opinions from people who had their lunchtime sandwiches. I was more than impressed with what we got. I knew Sliced since they first opened in Cork city centre as a pizza/pasta restaurant. I usually have pizza for dinner and when I heard they offered good sandwiches, I thought to visit at lunchtime to see what it was like. The site in Ballincollig is roomy and bright. The staff were very kind and found a table for us immediately on arrival. It was not busy at the time we arrived, around 1.30pm on a Thursday. The menu is the same as what is on their website. We ordered the Guac Chicken Wrap and Chicken Caesar Wrap. Both were served with salad and tortilla crisps. Soup or chips were available as side orders. Both dishes tasted amazing. The reason I am not giving the food five stars is because they should have made it clear to customers that there is a salad and tortillas with the order. I was close to ordering a side salad but happy I did not since it was already on the plate. The price for both sandwiches was just over €20 which is not bad given the serving size and presentation. I would recommend Sliced to anyone dining out for lunch in Ballincollig.

02/12/2024: Customer service was great. We are not from town and we were very late getting dinner. This dominos was the only place close to us and it was nearly closing time. Staff Gustai was so kind and patient taking & fulfilling our last minute order. We appreciate it!

08/01/2025: Wow when I say this is the god of all restaurants I mean it the variety of food not just pizza is amazing! There is not one other pizza I’ve ever had that tops Firehouse and their staff are so friendly , the place is so clean and amazing customer service which is getting rare these days as it’s not put on by staff they’re genuinely lovely people. Deserts too wow 🤩 my face are the profiteroles on chocolate moose with strawberries and chocolate sauce I’m drooling thinking about it there’s just so much to this restaurant than just a pizza! One stop shop for family and picky eaters there’s something for everyone! drivers are so lovely too and they work hard not just delivering so if you can tip any staff in store or deliver I’d presume for the many years I’ve eaten from here that it would be so appreciated.We ordered in my previous job for a massive order so they cater for companies too with platers and deals and the garlic sauce is insanely amazing buy extra ! I got pizza on their first day many years ago and I will never look back especially with their new menu and meal deals honestly this is not a paid review catering for vegans, vegetarians and also they have GLUTEN FREE PIZZA 💥😻this restaurant and staff deserve 5 💫 ⭐️ ❤️

16/11/2024: Food is grand but customer service is horrible, can’t even see if your food is done without one of the chefs giving out about “staring at him” and saying “I don’t know what you do in your country but we don’t stare at people” and getting aggressive. Unprofessional.
