08/07/2026: We had one of the nicest meals EVER in McLeary's this evening... the flavour was simply Devine.. Our seafood dish literally set our taste buds alight with the amazing food we were served this evening.. We were visiting from Galway but most definitely will be back!! Staff were attentive and warm. Thank you to the manager who "Loves his County"

21/07/2026: Would highly recommend this trip. Passage East Ferry across to Ballyhack. A very smooth crossing and a beautiful sunny day which added to the adventure. Cars, Camper vans, football passenger all aboard. The Staff were very helpful directing all vehicles to their places. We paid 14e return for passengers and a car. Check times as it has different times during the year. Nice coffee shops etc and you can visit the light house. A fantastic beech you will encounter touring about, and one can drive along the beach. Lots of people enjoying the magnificent weather.Great scenery. Would highly recommend this trip.

02/08/2026: To me, this place is a hidden Gem in Waterford. We have eaten there a few times now. The bread is so fresh and the sandwich combinations are really nice. I'd highly recommend it for a lunch option.

28/06/2026: Got a recommendation from a friend for this place and they were right to praise it: delicious food, engaged, attentive staff, and a cool, clean environment. I was able to make a booking at short notice, and I really appreciated that, especially given how busy it was. Its sister restaurant, next door, is just as good, too!

04/07/2026: Wow just wow!! This was the nicest food I ever got in any restaurant, I got the tagliatelle with mushroom sauce tonight and it was just amazing!! I came for my birthday and the waiters even sang happy birthday and had a candle in my desert, such a lovely touch!! The waiters were so friendly and even showed my little boy a trick with toothpicks which he loved! Thank you so much , best restaurant in Ireland 🙏

01/08/2026: The Shamrock in Dungarvan is a must go when visiting the town. We visited on a couple of occasions one for a The Full Irish Breakfasts and another visit for lunch. Incredible friendly staff where no ask is too much, huge breakfast portions with lashings of toast and butter. Both meat eaters and vegetarians were happy at our table with the selection. Highly recommended. Thanks Una and the team.

04/08/2026: Friendly staff. Minimal portion. We came for a bite to eat around 4 pm, so we didn't want a main course. We ordered the Caesar salad starter for €14. The taste was good, but this was a really small portion. There were barely 3 small pieces of chicken in it. A shame.

16/06/2026: Great spot with a large selection of cakes and breads. They even have some vegan treats too which is nice to see. Seaweed sourdough is just gorgeous!

28/04/2026: Called last Saturday during the food festival. Had the Ken McGrath burger. Delicious and great value at E16. Great service and very helpful staff. Charged my phone at the bar no bother. We call now and again and always a pleasure.

26/04/2026: Nice bar right in the centre of the square with a great atmosphere. The food was very good and reasonably priced, especially for such a busy spot. It was quite lively when we visited, which added to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Dungarvan.

09/08/2026: The food is great, but there's a discrepancy between the menu published on Google Maps (not just the pictures, but also the menu itself) and what is available at the restaurant. The East Road Grill was supposed to cost €13.95 each and be served with tea/americano, but it actually costs €14.95 and the tea/mericano is excluded. The difference of more than €4 per person is significant.

08/08/2026: Rarely have we eaten such an exquisite meal with such friendly staff! AAA Plus! Thank you! It couldn't be better! We came back again, and it was truly exceptionally delicious, with impeccable service. We have many great restaurants in Switzerland, but this one is among the very best! Thank you ♥️

05/08/2026: Amazing place to visit. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. So visit when hungry, the atmosphere of the pub was great lots of friendly people to have a chat to. You go there and make so many friends that were previously strangers.
