07/10/2025: Popped in here recently whilst on a family trip to the area, 2 adults 2 kids 8 & 4. We as a couple had a great experience in this restaurant 8.5 yrs prior so we thought we’d give it a go. It didn’t disappoint. No booking no problem, nice little table. Colours for the kids from get go, very attentive staff. We only had mains so can only guess how good the starters may have been. Mains were tops. Kids then walked over to the ice cream counter were a very patient staff member called out each ice cream flavour. A must visit for food, comfy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Hoping it won’t be years again I return 😊

15/11/2025: Phenomenal service such a warmly environment an experience completely different then your standard chipper often had breakfast and take aways would highly recommend the roadside trailer for a dine in experience as the scenery if Phenomenal on a summers day overlooking the view of youghal credits to staff certainly be back again 🙌🙌

28/10/2025: Small but has everything! Few restaurant options in the food court, but delicious options at a good price. You don't pay to use the restroom. The mall is very centrally located. It has 2 or 3 supermarkets, bookstores, clothing and decoration stores, there's even a vinyl record store. Small shops and large department stores. I loved it.

01/02/2026: Will NEVER darken their doorway again! For years I've been going to the Interlude, meeting friends for cuppa scone and a chat. Today I went in there, on my own, looking for a scone and coffee, was asked if I had a reservation, in a sneery voice, when I said I hadn't, that was it......I wouldn't mind, hardly a table had a reservation, most tables were empty. It only takes less than15 mins to eat a scone and drink a coffee, when you are on your own. Thank God, there are so many more fantastic eateries in beautiful Dungarvan, that accept someone wanting to be there on there own. I never asked for my husband to die, we always went there together. Maybe it was because I use a walking stick? Goodbye Interlude and good riddance, I will never enter your doors again. One very disgruntled long time customer.

26/08/2025: Im a 'frequent flier' to Seanie, Mags & Karen & its my fav weely treat for bfast. You'd hav to travel a looong way to get such quality, atmosphere & service. I hope when the airport restarts early morning flights to the UK that HH will get to supply ALL travellers & staff with bfasts☘️😁

19/08/2025: Wonderful coffee and delicious grub! Such a cheerful, smiley team and a really cosy space with great vibes. Oran was a super server, and Judy & Rebecca were amazing too. Loved the whole experience!

17/01/2026: Went here on sat 17 .we ordered waterford blaa and full irish.waterford blaa tea and toast arrived promptly.Twenty mins later i enquired how long my breakfast would be.apparently the waitress forgot to order it ...Ten mins later i cancelled my breakfast order....when i went to pay i was told to pay for tea and toast as it arrived .I argued the point that breakfast never arrived so i shouldnt have to pay ....No such customer appreaction.so to avoid a scene i duly paid...In the Time i was left waiting after after enquiring where my breakfast was Two customers were served full irish...Both customers were known to staff.so maybe if your local you get treated better.Better places nearby who appreciate visitors

21/12/2025: Waited 35 mins on a breakfast . Asked for fried tomatoes and about Twenty half cherry tomatoes came with my egg !! We drank of coffees well before we got our food . Asked for more coffee to go with our breakfast and got charged for it . Staff would need a wake up call . Not talking orders properly listening to other tables . A pity because it’s a nice setting but won’t be coming back here any time soon . 👎.

07/01/2026: Ita about a 15 minute drive to Waterford city. It's right on a beautiful beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The rooms were very cosy and clean. The bed was so comfortable. I loved it there
