Great food and drinks options. Excellent service from well trained professional staff. Peter deserves special recognition from our group for great service and dedication. This one is worth checking out for groups or any occasion.

05/08/2026: We love you Alice! We'd be lost in West Waterford if they ever shut down. Alice and the girls are all lovely people. The food is great! The chips are decent top tier potato - none of those rubbish, miserable fries. Good meaty burgers and my personal favourite, the pizza (with 3 toppings: ham, mushrooms and pineapple to make it Hawaiian). You won't go hungry here. Great value.

16/08/2026: Brilliant pub off the motorway in Kilmeadan. Well worth the 3 minute detour. Great food, big portions, well presented, no long wait, priced competitively, outside space. The lounge is spacious and comfortable and the three young women who looked after us were absolutely lovely (excellent bar manager). Wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. Well done O'Donnacha's Bar.

12/09/2025: We had a lovely pistachio hot chocolate, tiramisu, and a Black Forest dessert. All of it was absolutely delicious! The staff are also amazing and friendly! We will definitely be coming back!

21/07/2026: Nice spot for coffee but one short waiter was giving me weird looks and almost cringed after I asked for a second coffee which kind of ruined my experience but other then that its fine

23/06/2026: Tried both the pastrami sandwich and the chicken sandwich. I’d give both a solid 7/10. The bread was excellent and the meat was really tasty, which made both sandwiches enjoyable. The goat cheese was a standout and deserves an 8/10 on its own. The only downside was the crisps, which tasted like they’d been sitting out for a while and weren’t as fresh as the rest of the meal. Overall, a good experience with some great ingredients, especially the bread and goat cheese.

30/06/2026: Brought my elderly relative to the Latch Restaurant today. Fantastic three course lunch and incredible value. We were in Fermoy for some shopping and based on advice from another family member we decided to travel to Tallow to get lunch in the Latch. We weren't disappointed! I had the Clonakilty Black Pudding starter. The accompanying onion relish was amasing. I had the cod for main course. I have never tasted cod so perfectly cooked. Perfection! Thank you very much.
